Maridoe is an amazing hidden gem. Once you get there, you feel like you are out in the middle of the country, miles away from the city. But you are only a few minutes from the city. Amazing golf course, catering to people that truly love the sport of golf. Created by a man who truly loves the game.

Easily the BEST Golf Course in DFW ... but it’s VERY EXCLUSIVE. If you’re lucky enough to get invited, take a caddie for the best walk you’ll ever have. Every aspect of one’s game will get tested, but it’s the right kind of difficult. Good shots will get rewarded ... no crazy bounces ... while poor shots almost always result in great duress.

Amazing, Challenging, Immaculate. This course lays on the site of the old Columbian Club (later named Honors Golf Club). After opening from a wall-to-wall renovation and redesign, the newly christened Maridoe is sure to become one of the best clubs in the country. The course is a true test and I will not be surprised if it is named as a host for a major in the near future. The routing contains a wonderful collection of holes that will test every club in your bag as well as your imagination and fortitude. If you have the opportunity to play, do not pass it up!

This is a good golf course. Greens are well maintained and the design is one of the better in Dallas. It can get crowded at times, but go during the early part of the week if you want to really enjoy yourself.

They are really racist!

My brother-in-law brought me to play the day after Thanksgiving and it was just an incredible experience. The staff is incredible from top to bottom and the course is intense. If you get a chance to play bring lots of balls and an open mind and youll have a great time.

Beautiful golf course! Probably the best greens and fairway in DFW.

One of the best courses in the world. A true test and it will make you use every club in the bag. Immaculate condition and some the fastest greens you will ever find. Steve Smyers did a wonderful job designing this masterpiece. Mr. Huddleston has created a very special place.

Played the available 9 twice today. The course was in really pretty good shape for December. When it grows in, it will be spectacular. The course can be played at ridiculous length (7,800 yards) if you need that, the fairways are lined with Buffalo grass which is penal, and the greens have plenty of undulation and even now are pretty quick. Though there are some homes on the course that detract a bit, there is real terrain out there. Combined with a fairly steady wind, this course will be challenging to anyone. Finally, the Head Pro Ronnie could not have been more delightful, informative and welcoming. Great experience.

Illegal wateringThey also use sprinklers during the day which is illegal in Carrollton during summer. They need to check on days and time and how many days they can water.They need rodent control..

In a word. PUNITIVE!! Golf course has many dramatic views and interesting holes, but I would say overall it seems to be a very penal design. Course is very long ~ 7,800 yards. The fairways seem quite narrow and just off of the fairway, Buffalo grass has been planted. I noticed there are also numerous uphill blind/semi blind approach shots where the green runs away from you - which would make it very hard to even keep the ball on the green. Im betting this course would be great for a U.S. Open, or those that want to shoot 85 and be kicked in the balls on a daily basis. Otherwise, you will want to take a pass.
