Captain Omar, Caribbean Outfitters, was very open and honest with me prior to our trip. He was also very willing to answer all of my questions. I have fished with various guides and often ask alot of questions before booking. Based on his fishing experience, we planned our vacation to coincide with his recommendation. He is very knowledgeable and knows the local waters. Although there were other guides fishing the same waters, it was very easy to tell that we had more hookups then anyone else. By the end of our 6 hour trip (February 2020), we had various hookups, released one average size tarpon (~50lb), and lost one large tarpon (~80 lb) at the boat. Besides making our trip fun and successful, we made a friend. We cant wait to return to Puerto Rico and fish with Capt. Omar. He was one of the best guides we have ever fished with over the years. You will not be disappointed. He works hard to get you the best opportunity.
