My flight was cancelled and I was left scrambling for a new hotel. I was able to get into The Courtyard, and was happy because the pictures made it look like paradise. Little did I know this hotel is a casino, which no mention is made on its website. It is also right next to the airport, so it is extremely loud and not relaxing at all. My room was musty feeling like it used to be a smokers room and they liked to keep the door open.I had to do laundry since my trip was extended, and their coin operated washing machines were broken. There are signs saying they are $1.50 each but they are actually $2.00 each. The front desk had to get the maintenance to fix them since my clothes were already in there. There were also no signs saying how long the machines would run for, so I killed over an hour of my vacation waiting on laundry.If you dont care about noise, it smelling like a casino, or dont need laundry done then this is a fine hotel with a decent enough public beach. It does have a hot tub.EDIT:I am editing this review to increase it to 3 stars. While I did not care for the hotel itself the staff was amazing and made sure to help me and make me feel comfortable. When I wanted to cancel my stay, the front desk gentleman was courteous in walking me through the process and confirming my refund. The same can be said for the woman who checked me in, she could see I was a solo traveler and in a bit is disarray and upgraded my room to a nice ocean view at no cost. She was also helpful in getting maintenance to the washers. The servers at the restaurant were also awesome.

Loved this hotel, it looked like a picture in a magazine. It was completely perfect! Peaceful and clean. Only thing that I didnt like was we were too close to the airport and can hear the planes occasionally.

Horrible experience this place isnt 4 stars hotel.One day with no water at the hotel room they choose who is going to the pool based in your room number.They lets you know this when you already pay the hotel never before.You can see my pictures about the lunch and make your own decision again isnt a covid19 thing all restaurants at isla verde are open .Never recommended horrible place.And resort fees are from another world.

The staff, expecially Matthew, was beyond courteous. The food was excellent and everything was just great. The staff was very helpful in helping understand their language. The cleaniness of the hotel and the Covid 19 precautions that were taken were beyond expectation. I recommend this hotel to everyone and will definately stay there again

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel is great, clean, has restaurants, casino, coffee shop, the beach is right in front of the hotel. It is a nice beach. The pool is big and there is a jacuzzi. I dont give five stars because on the weekends the pool has hours you have to choose whether you want to get in the pool from 7am-2pm or from 2pm-7pm, you get a bracelet and they check it to know if you are in the morning or afternoon. Also some of the guests appeared to be not family friendly!

The first time I stayed here, American was late in air and I was not able to connect with the flight to St. Lucia. I was comped overnight soup to nuts, that is taxi round trip, dinner and breakfast and a nice room overnight, clean, and just fine. After check in and checking out my room and freshening up I headed to a buffet dinner. BUT, in between the elevators and the dining room restaurant was the casino. So, I took two bucks on a dollar slot and pulled. Bells, whistles, marching bands, salsa orchestras began playing and with all eyes on me a nice well dressed guy walks up to me and offers congratulations and askes me to wait a moment. When he returns he drops $5000 cash in my hand and la di da...I dismiss the salsa orhestra and marching band and head off the dinner my pocket bulging. Can anyone guess what my favorite hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico is? So, in less than six hours I left freezing New York, got a free room and dinner and taxi in Isla Verde, taxi to and from. an added 5 Gs for the trouble of a missed connection. I have stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde about ten times since, at least, and only one time when they were in the middle of a construction project were things slightly bad. All other times, things were great, great in the sense that it serves all my needs terrifically. Room, balcony, food with a centerpiece of a whole Roast Pig, and plenty of alternatives and side dishes. I am good to go with some roast pork or chicken con frijoles rosados , some cafe and its another start to a fabulous stay in 88 degree sun shining weather in February snow in NYC. For me, I see no reason to change hotels. I love P.R. and I LOVE Courtyard by Marriott....Isla Verde. My modus operandi for traveling, TIP WELL on your first day, YOU WILL HAVE THE BEST SERVICE FOR YOUR STAY, AND HIT THEM ALL AGAIN UPON CHECK OUT AND THEY WILL REMEMBER YOUR NAME AND FACE FOR THE NEXT TIME. Did I mention that I LOVE Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde, Puerto Rico?

I was very surprised to how much I enjoyed the courtyard by marriott! Due to covid there are temperature scans at all entrances which I personally loved. We got upgraded to full ocean view room when we had booked a partial ocean view room. Upon checking in we received complimentary drink vochers and a $5 credit for the casino. I was surprised by that. We decided to eat at the sienna ocean front restaurant and krystine was our waitress. She was very professional and helpful. After our first initial interaction with her we asked for her everytime we ate there which was alot die to the convenience of been at the hotel. As well as we loved the poolside bar! That quickly became our fav hangout. Carlos moreno was our fav bartender! The mango mojitos was very potent and delicious! This might be our new favorite hotel to come stay every time we come!

The hotel is great, nice and clean. Orlando came off as a little rude. Other than that the beach is literally right out back. Due to Covid the pool is closed. Oh yeah Uber stops running at 9pm

I just recently stayed there from July 24 to July 31,And i understand with the Covid pandemic going on, the cleaning services have to be careful with cleaning your rooms, and Im grateful for the Restore fees being waved, I was told that our room would be taken care of every three days, that wasnt the case, only once did they care take of our room, to replace our towels, I empty out the trash myself,I did my part to clean the bathroom and room myself, look if your going to take reservations then,You have to provide better service then this, even during this time, the only reason I traveled to Puerto Rico during this time, was because my father passed way. Beside that, I noticed you guys doing an Amazing job in cleaning and disinfecting everywhere throughout the Restore, just not in our room.

My boyfriend and I stayed here November 1st- 4th of 2020. I will say that I had a great time at this hotel. Yes the food is over priced and did take long for us to get after we ordered. The swim up bar at the pool was the best. We did walk to the restaurants outside of our resorts quite a few times for breakfast and dinner. We stayed in room 416 and were bitten all over from bed bugs.

Had a amazing stay! It was truly an experience. Room had a little maintenance issue but they moved quickly resolve it.Mitchel at the Front Desk was very courteous and friendly. He made my stay much more special taking care of our familys needs.Will definitely come back!

They single people out they island was on locked down on Sunday you can not go out at all you cant buy liquard after 7pm you have to be in your room at 10pm the worst trip Ive ever had

The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. The staff is helpful, friendly, kind and bilingual. The room was very comfortable, clean and modern. Theres a pool area has a jacuzzi as well as a deck and a 24 hour gym. The beach is very clean and tranquil, you can rent surfboards there as well. The parking is $15 per day but its a secured area and the hotel is very close from many restaurants, pharmacies and supermarkets.

While we enjoyed our stay at the courtyard Marriott Isla Verde, we will not be staying here again. The hotel has a breakfast area heavily monitored by birds that will eat your food the minute you turn way. My daughter is terrified of birds due to a bad childhood experience. Valet was very helpful in recommending places to eat out of the hotel. Checking in at 7am was a bit challenging. We had informed the hotel of this prior to our arrival. The beach area is nice. They have hammocks. No cabanas. The water is a bit murky for a few feet before you actually get to clear water. The beach is a bit wavy and can be dangerous for babies and toddlers. People are very friendly. Everyone seems to gather and converse around the pool bar. The water in the smaller of the two hot tubs was not hot. The larger hot tub was dirty the two days we went to look at it in attempt to get in. I am not sure if the water is circulating properly. The fitness center is small, but it has good equipment including showers.

We were EXTREMELY disappointed in the lack of customer service, including their refusal to properly issue a refund that was promised. The supervisor was rude and failed to honor an agreement to issue a refund, and we had to resort to contacting our credit card company to open a dispute. I would NOT recommend this resort!

Location was great staff was wonderful food was good but the bugs were terrible. I repeat do not go on the beach do not go to the pool and do not eat out side you will get eaten a live. They have these bugs called no see ums that they do not verbally tell you about. Not safe for kids , not even adults a waste of a wonderful beach!!!!

I love the staff they are amazing!! The beach and the pool are both very clean and the staff were very helpful with directions and suggestions with great places to eat and sight see! The only thing I didnt like was the fact that none of the hotel restaurants were open past 12am. I was out at the pool and hot tub late at night and I would get hungry although there are several places to get food thru Uber eats it would be nice to to just gey food from the hotel. Great place will definitely be back!

Zero customer service, house keeping does not come (even upon request), air conditioning in room does not work (we told them and we were told an engineer would come and take a look, no one ever showed up. Room temp was over 80 degrees the whole trip), fire alarm goes off regularly, employees all look really upset and have attitudes, like they don’t want to be there. Rooms are outdated idk how is this place listed as a 4 star hotel. We thought we were getting a deal but clearly you get what you pay for! Lesson learned.

We booked our stay of 5 nights with this hotel thinking we made the right choice for our first time traveling to Puerto Rico... little did we know our rooms 602,604 had bedbugs house keeping came only once the in tired time we stay at the hotel when we arrived the room was not clean right and to make this worse the hotel staff puts everyone on lockdown SUNDAY thats some they dont advertise on there website you can only be in your room..when we try to order food to our room no one answered the phone and when we went downstairs the hotel staff told us we needed to be in are room. WORST HOTEL EVER I DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.Im only giving them one star because it wont let continue if i dont pick a starThe staff is rude and not helpful

The location couldnt be more perfect! Its located on Isla Verde, the most gorgeous beach in San Juan. Whether you sat at the bar/restaurants, hung out by the pool, relaxed in a hammock, or got a chaise on the beach itself, the view was spectacular. Everything felt clean, fresh, and new with rooms were nicely appointed and a simple lobby offering several seating areas, a bar, a coffee counter, and access to the restaurants. I know there was a gym that my traveling companion used and she was pleased with the facilities. The small casino is nice for those who gamble, but it doesnt overwhelm.The staff were lovely and unfailingly polite, but some seemed to lack experience or sufficient training. I didnt receive bar/food service in one seating area until I went to the bar to inquire. Turns out there was some confusion over which bars server was responsible for that area, with one bartender sending me to walk to another bar to track down a server. I also experienced a couple of situations at the front desk where it was clear staff didnt communicate with each other. The food was average and ambitious beyond the cooks abilities, plus they have an annoying problem with birds scavenging from peoples plates in outdoor restaurants (especially when not cleared promptly). At $18, the buffet breakfast is priced similarly to any other resort, and you have the option to order a la carte. Theres also a coffee shop where you could get a pastry in the morning.Courtyard Isla Verde is a great value option, and I would even stay here over a more luxury hotel.

I stayed here for my birthday weekend and it was absolutely beautiful!! The pools were my favorite part and they’re nice, clean, and the water is warm at all times. The rooms are lovely also with a nice view to the beach. I want to thank Jesus the house keeping assistant manager who made sure our stay was great. His hospitality is A1, very friendly, talkative, you can ask him for anything and he would make it happen. I also thank the pool security who also made sure we were comfortable and were respectful. If I ever come back to Puerto Rico, I wouldnt choose anywhere else in San Juan but here especially because of Jesus I hope he makes it far!Only thing I can say went bad was the food from the bar. I ordered breakfast and it wasn’t really that good & the guy who took my order reads back my order and still sends me most of my order the wrong and got mad HE made the mistake LOL like really ? So He lost out, I gave his tip to the pool security who made sure everything was corrected and brought it all out for us. But I recommend eating outside the resort which wont be a problem because there’s a strip of restaurants right along the street.

Loved it... would stay again. Hated the birds though...they did to much will trying to eat outside.

Great views and service.The room is good, nothing fancy.Its a smoking free facility but the have a very well prepared smoking section between the pool and the beach. Im a smoker and I didnt feel discriminated while respecting others.

Staff and housekeeping were very friendly. Rooms could use some updating, BETTER lighting and more draw space. Pool was beautiful but way too much shade. Food was awesome. Will go back if they get better lighting in rooms and more shower pressure. A lot of fun at casino, thank you Brenda.

Our experience at the Courtyard Isla Verde Beach Resort was the best experience so far!! The food and drinks were delicious! The service was the best so far at the restaurants, the room, the lobby, the swimming pool and even at the fitness center. The staff was always so friendly and ready to help us with any needs we may have. The rooms are very spacious and very clean! And the view was excellent!! I recommend this hotel to anybody that wants to have a good time, taste delicious food and just RELAX!! We traveled with our daughter and grandson and we all had a great time!!!

Our trip overall was wonderful. We had come to this property in 2017 for our anniversary and were eager to share our experience with two of our best friends who were traveling with us this time. The staff we encountered were great--very attentive and caring. Food in the bar was average. Sandwiches we are at the coffee bar in the hotel were amazing; Grisella and the other coffee bar staff were outstanding. We had dessert at the outdoor restaurant our last night were awesome. Drinks were decent, if not a bit overpriced. Maids came through daily and provided a nice update to the room. They were never intrusive or in the way. We will absolutely be returning to this property for future visits to San Juan

Let me start this off by saying I understand we are in a time where things are complicated due to Covid-19. These rooms are decent, because of covid no coffee maker which is understandable. Check in was disappointing as the gentlemen who checked us in did not inform us of anything other than the deposit for the room, our keys, and room number. It would’ve been nice if he could’ve gave us information on the hotel restaurants and the policy with the island curfew. That same night we headed downstairs to get food It was a long flight and we were tired, upon arriving to la sirena we were not sure if the entire restaurant was la sirena or if the bar to the right was apart of it. After 20 min of standing by the host stand we were finally semi greeted by a woman. She sat us and informed us to scan our phones towards the code at the table to look at the menu, thinking that we would have the option to order food from the regular menu we were told that it was only food from la sirena and that if we wanted to order from the regular menu we had to order from the bar. We proceeded to the bar which at that point there was only one bartender making drinks for everyone. We asked the bartender if we could order, and with the nastiest attitude he said he would be right with us his name was Johansson or something like that, this man was not only rude to us but treated us so poorly. I’m not sure if it’s because he was overworked but clearly he was very frustrated. Eventually after 20 min he was able to take our order. Our food came one hour after ordering and we asked Johansson if we could please have ranch immediately he said he didn’t have any. No apologies no concerns just a simple ‘’we don’t have any’’ because of this mans behavior towards us I will never return. The man who was moping the hotel lobby which seems to be a maintenance guy he’s bald not friendly at all no smile, no greeting, not a single word. It was as if the employees at this hotel is just frustrated with work. I do not recommend this hotel as the employees are not very helpful and some are very rude and frustrated. Your better off doing an Airb&b.

Very nice hotel to stay in. Staff is friendly and the rooms have been updated to keep up with the chains modern style atmosphere. Casino is nicely sized and is crowded on most nights. Views are absolutely gorgeous. Everything you would expect from a Courtyard by Marriott.

Nice hotel, close to the airport (which does cause noise) but on the beach. Not the best view from my room. The hotel restaurants and food options are average at best. The room temperature was good but had a mustiness to it. It was great they held my bags and gave me access to fitness facility and shower until my flight took off. I had to ask for my key card to get reset numerous times.

For the quality of the hotel, its totally not worth this price. But then, San Juan is WAY overpriced in lodging. Meals here are wicked expensive in the hotel restaurant and room service. However, their room service breakfast is reasonable and tasty. Elevators werent all working while here, and generally took forever to arrive. Location Is nowhere near tourist sites. If you want beach only, this is your place. I will say service was friendly, but I would not return to this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay...we had come last year at the same time and decided to return again. Only draw backs is the resort not close to dining/nightlife experiences. So you use a lot of taxis or Ubers but the beach/pool is great. The view from the rooms are a little to be desired unless you have room(s) directly looking out to the beach. Overall a great value and staff very accommodating.

This hotel is very nice, pool is great and even has a swim up bar. Its only downside is the proximity to the airport as the planes do wake you up in the morning. However, this can be overlooked with the gorgeous views of the ocean from the rooms and the cleanliness of the place overall. Facilities very well maintained and decor is updated.

Great location on the island. Local park and natural shore line features make this feel like a private beach! Restaurant choices are excellent and reasonably priced. Staff always went above and beyond making sure all our needs and expectations were met. Rooms were exceptionally clean and decor modern and up to date.

Courtyard Isla Verse by Marriott is one of the nicer places to stay in San Juan. Its definitely not the newest hotel, but the staff, area, and accommodations are very good. The on-location restaurant is a great choice, and youll feel safe and supported by the staff throughout your stay.

The staff at the front desk was not nice at all. We got there after a very long flight to people not saying a word, it was a bit disappointing. Then we checked in and the person who was “helping us” did not explain what was going on. He proceeded with charging us the $200 fee on top of our 5 day stay price, and when we asked for what that is being charged, he got an attitude and proceeded with giving us our keys to the room. We were also given two tickets for two free drinks at the hotel’s bar and a free $5 for the casino, which was nice and gave us a reason to come and check it out. Despite the rude check in, we enjoyed our time at this place. It was conveniently close to the airport, market place and not too far from Old San Juan. The room was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. We were very lucky to have a beautiful beach view. The lady that came to clean our room was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed, even though she spoke Spanish, she made sure that we were okay. She came in every morning when we were gone to change towels, clean and leave water in our mini fridge. Unfortunately, she was one of the very few nice staff members that we met. The beach front was absolutely beautiful!!! The pools and jacuzzi were great and clean. We were provided with free beach towels whenever we needed them. We also borrowed some when we went out snorkeling. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was very good! There was also a small coffee shop in the lobby that had great bagels and croissants. We weren’t planning to eat at the hotel but ended up grabbing lunch or dinner at least once a day throughout our stay. The prices on food were good, drinks were a bit expensive. Overall, the experience was great! We even ended up witnessing a wedding while on our balcony.

Had a minor roach problem. You can tell there wasnt a thorough cleaning due to covid there was other peoples belongs like their underwear found 3 key cards. Yikes... but I love their scenery & sizing of the room.

A typical big chain hotel, when some very nice beachfront location. The pool area is quite comfortable, with a couple of bars located nearby and one of them right inside the pool.The staff is quite friendly, and the views are certainly nice, especially in the morning and in the afternoon. It offers hammocks, umbrellas and towels in the beach area.

My stay was entirely too short which was sad but I absolutely loved spending a night at your hotel.The hotel staff is top notch. My check-in experience was great! Every staff member I encountered was very gracious and had a great at-your-service attitude.Thank you for my room upgrade to a beach view. I will return for a longer stay.

I’ve been staying here for work and will be back each time I return for business or pleasure.The staff is very nice, the bar tenders are awesome, and you walk right out of the hotel onto the beach. Offers a variety of beach activities and the hotel includes a casino. This is a great place for business travelers or family vacations.

We booked a king bed with ocean view, received double with partial view that stunk like cigarette smoke. We called down to reception and they said they would take care of it immediately.. they sent a cleaning lady to spray air freshener. We had a baby with us and asked her not to spray chemicals in the room but she did so anyway. We went to reception livid and they downgraded us to a new room, still a double but this time with no view. The next morning reception said they would upgrade us to a king with an ocean view... aka the room we had been paying for the entire stay. Knowing we had an 8 month old baby no one thought to mention to us that they would be setting off fireworks and playing music right in front of our room until 2 am. We checked out the next morning and have yet to hear back from customer service, over a week, regarding how terrible our experience was at this establishment.

They definitely need to improve the cleaning of the bathrooms. I stayed there for 5 nights $1700+ thinking I was going to stay at a nice place based on the photos from their website. My flight got delayed, so I checked in the hotel at night. My surprise was the dirty bath tube, I was too tired to go down to ask for someone to clean it. I took photos and the next morning I went to the lobby and showed the girl the photos, she called someone over the phone to go clean it. I went to Old San Juan hoping that when I got back the tube was going to be clean. NOPE, they didn’t clean it. For that price I could of stay at any other hotel with clean bathrooms. I give them 3 stars because the service downstairs it’s very good. Everyone is very attentive and cordial.

Swim up bar & beach area is beautiful, the drinks could be a little stronger due to prices being a little expensive! Also food should be fresh! I spent $30 on the seafood Alfredo and I was vomiting all night!!!! I mention it to someone and they never said anything else to me about it! Smh I was really sick! But I enjoyed my stay minus that.

Great views right on the beach. Clean rooms that come with a mini fridge and microwave. Nice bar and lounge area and casino for your gaming pleasure.

This hotel was nice. Great location right on the beach. They have a restaurant out back that opens up to the beach. Off to the side they have a large pool area which is also alongside the beach.This was also only a 5 minute drive from the airport, so this is a great place to stay for a night or two. Being so close to the airport you can hear some of the larger airplanes taking off and landing. It can get quite loud, but it was only around 1 an hour that was loud, so at least it isnt constant. I dont recall being woken up by any in late hours either.They had a small casino in the lobby with a bunch of slot machines and maybe 8 tables. There were a few blackjack tables with i think $5 $10 and $25 minimum bets, a craps table, roulette, and some other games I wasnt familiar with.The rooms were fairly small, but typical for a large hotel. Beds were comfortable enough, and the rooms were very clean.

This is paradise! One of the most beautiful resorts we have stayed in and we look forward to going back! Very close to the airport and that is why we chose it. The beach and pools are so nice! All I could do is say WOW! This will be our destination for our next trip to Puerto Rico!

Great resort for 25k points a night. Have to pay 25$ resort fee but does at least come with 2 rum punches. Upgraded to a jr suite which is corner room. Basically a studio with large balcony direct oceanfront. 5 mins away from airport.

I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this resort was. The rooms were large and comfortable, pool was open 24 hours, which is a huge, huge plus. Security on hand, amazing restaurants, great casino and walking distance from local stores. Also short ride from airport. I was so impressed with this resort that I’ve already began to plan my return! Perfect place to stay and beach was right outside.

Gorgeous! Still under renovation and repair from the hurricane, but seemed like they were working very quickly. We were upgraded to a giant room with a view and it was spectacular. Hotel staff was always friendly and polite. We will definitely be back to stay again and cant wait to see if after the repairs are complete.

Usually I rate this place a 5, but I dont know if its the pandemic, but the hotel lacks customer service. Its more important that they take your temperature, than to bring down the breakfast line at Bananas, which make NO SENSE what so ever, paid $20 per person per breakfast to get it 1 HR later, cold and in a bag! They could open the restaurant, serve in regular plates, which seems alot sanitizing than this, and sit in dirty tables. I was so disappointed as this had always been my favorite hotel in isla Verde! The passion seem to have worn off with the Pandemic.

Very convenient place with great service and beautiful views

Room were very spacious staff was unbelievable and I will definitely be returning to this hotel again and again. I will also tell all my friends. They have casino and restaurant and a great bar and its right on the beach.

There are no words to describe how beautiful this place is. The staff was so amazing and accommodating if you have not been here you must visit. SIMPLY GORGEOUS

We stayed a weekend here unfortunately we didn’t enjoy ourselves because of the Xplora fest (all type of beach sports) (May 25-27) the hotel was crowded No where to sit and relax loud music and security was being very annoying asking us our info like the room # ect. ect. No need to ask us anything we had our bracelets indicating we were staying there. If we knew about this event definitely we’ll booked somewhere else. Took a few pictures the morning we left I hope you enjoy. Overall It’s a beautiful beach front hotel minuets from airport convenient to walk to near restaurants. (Police is always around) good to visit with teenagers.

Its a pleasant hotel but really lacks good food. There is couple of nice things on the menu but nothing to write home about. Breakfast was rather poor for its price tag. The hotel is right by the airport so its loud, but also next to the beach which is nice. Generally, you can find a much better hotel in the same price rage.

Large place, very big hotel and they do have paid parking on the premisses, I am not a huge fan of hotels that do that to guests because if you are staying there paying for the night, this is definitely a way to bully your customer into giving you more money cause in the end they have not much choice.Checking in you will receive some casino vouchers as well as a couple of drink tickets. the drink tickets will get you a couple of Pina coladas.Amazing beach access, as you walk across the hotel past the lobby , the casino, bar and restaurant you will find the beach!! amazing beautiful beach. amazing view.Outdoor pool, with beach view!Casino, test there is a casino inside the hotel, and as I said above, they give you a voucher and you can use it there, I didnt but I gave it to my friends.Paid parking 15 dollars a day. still feel it is absurd.Breakfast 18 dollars, but the breakfast was sort of worth it, I mean if you do not have a car to go around the townoverall this is a very nice and fancy hotel. but I think that for this town it was a bit too fancy.the rooms themselves were not impressive at all, they were pretty standard and I expected more.

My husband and I ended a 7 day cruise by staying at this hotel. It was the perfect ending to a great vacation. We highly recommend this hotel! It was beautiful clean and staffed with very helpful people. The food was good and everyone worked to ensure our needs were met.

My stay at the hotel was wonderful. We actually got there early around 12 noon and the staff there was so nice and accommodating, they let us check in a few hours early without any extra fees or charges. The hotel was really nice and very well-kept. My room was beautiful and extremely clean. I absolutely loved The restaurant food there. It was extremely good and fresh. And the lobby was beautifully decorated with nice couches, the Casino, two bars, and the fitness center. The outside was amazing, we ate dinner on the back deck multiple times and we practically were right there on the beach. It was beautiful and relaxing!

Enjoyed the stay. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Services were good. Food was good. Pool and beach area need better control. Witnessed staff asking attendant at pool ask for 4 wristbands for friends that were non guests. On beach non guests were using chairs and umbrellas. Pool area and swim up pool used by non guests. Security did some rounding up but more is needed. As a guest I would expect that property and amenities would be for paying guests only. To include Casino guests should be limited and allowed access to Casino etc not the pool and pool bar and the cabanas. Overall I like the place. We have stayed here twice and will likely stay again, but it could be better

This was a great stay right on the beach. I got a massage on the beach and relaxed under a hammock. I didnt like that I vit charged an extra 50 a night expedia should work on that.

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff(Willie, Tamara, Ashley, Angie). Loved the view, beach, and pool.

The facilities were nice but we felt like we were misled by the hotel staff and the Puerto Rican government. It stated clearly that Puerto Rican travel was going to be opened up on the July 15th for international travel. This gave us confidence that the facilities were going to be opened to full capacity when we arrived from the states. We checked in on the 15th we didnt have a problem with the checkin and thought the staff was helpful and accommodating. The facilities including the pool, casino, and gym were all open and available for use. My wife and I wore a mask and are beach chairs were sanitized which we were happy to comply with the rules. Unfortunately, the next day when we woke up we walked outside and the pool was blocked off and the guy at the hotel told us due to a recent executive order the pool along with all of the other amenities were shut down for two weeks. In my opinion the government as well as the hotel were deceitful and purposeful in misleading travelers into believing that the Covid problem was under control and fully welcoming to travelers. We believe that if an executive order was put in place travelers should be aware of this at least 3 days in advance but no warning was given and at this moment it still does not say anything about pool and beach closings on the company website.

Only a 5 minute Uber from the airport, this is a great beach hotel that delivers nearly all of what youre looking for. There is also a large, clean 24/7 Supermarket down the street where you can stock up on food and alcohol to save some money.

Nice room. Excellent setup...leave the pool and the beach is just a few steps away.

Very friendly staff. Allowed us to check in early and out late. We were able to leave our luggage w/ the valet and use the hotel amenities until we had to leave for the airport.Beautiful location right on the beach w/ free beach chairs and umbrellas. Spacious room that was very clean.You should take advantage of the free bug repellent. We didnt and ended up w/ no-see-um bites.

CHECK in was fast and easy, checked out temp at arrival, check in counter had glass on every deck, workers all had masks. sanitizers everywhere, 2 people max in elevator. we were given better beach views for moms bday.beach was easy access in front of hotel with chairs included with resort fees. pizza at bar was good not bad price and lobby area was not crowded.Issues were:DO NOT GO ON WEEKEND!! gets over crowded no SOCIAL distance we had to stay on beach later in day to avoid heavy crowds in pool. they did not practice any rules in or around pool for social distance. the beach chairs and umbrellas get taken down for 5ish and also people close to you if you did not get to beach early to get the front to avoid overcrowded beach. we encountered some guys smoking weed by pool the pool/security guy did not say or do anything. we told front desk and nothing was done, very disappointing. Also was not told the housekeeping is not cleaning rooms due to COVID only take trash and bring towels. we did not have ice bucket in room and when mom went to ask the bar crew one yelled at her to go talk to manager about getting one. alot of noise in hallways with people slamming doors and back and forth from ice machine room. they had no pizza sunday evening they sold out due to the level of how many people were there. THERE IS NOTHING NEAR NEAR BY WALKING IF YOU WALK IT IS LIKE 10 MIN- PLUS TOO HOT! ALSO NO TAXI OR UBER NEAR SOME DAYS HAD TO WALK DUE TO NO UBER AVAILABLE.

GREAT STAY..Staff was very helpful and the beach was just beautiful. I was able to go into the office and in the evenings enjoy the beach.

Absolutely beautiful resort, very friendly staff, clean rooms with lovely views of the beach. Only downside is the proximity to the airport- can be a little loud.

Pretty good. Old and needs some updating. My major issue. You operate a 24/7 casino. NO food through those hours. What do you think your gamblers are going to do? Go to bed like I did wishing there was some food to keep me going. Bad business plan!

Pleasantly surprised. Great pool, great lobby, comfy rooms. Right on the beach. Beach is rough and is more of a surfing beach. Right near the airport (4 min drive). If you’re a plane geek like me you’ll love it. But it can be loud during takeoffs.

The property, grounds, pool, lobby, casino, restaurants and other public spaces were exceptional. The staff was very attentive and very friendly. I loved this property but hated the location directly parallel to the airport runway. From our room, or the pool, or the beach, we could hear, feel, smell and see planes taking off all day and early evening. The room and bathroom are also very dated and in dire need of upgrading. We had a lovely balcony and view but it was unusable due the the compressor from the air conditioning unit of the room next to our venting directly on to our legs and feet. Between the noise from the compressor and the noise from the airport, the balcony was torture.

I liked the resort but after the hurricane a lot of other resorts did not recover unfortunately so it was very quiet in the area... which isn’t a bad thing but you just have to walk a little bit for restaurants and entertainment. The resort was very well taken care of and relaxing, I loved it!!!

The staff is incredible, they pull out the stops in hospitality! Great facilities, food, and drinks!! I could not have had a better experience anywhere!!!

The moment we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by friendly staff and felt very welcomed by all during check in process. The rooms are gorgeous, clean, spacious and the cleaning staff kept it nice for us the entire week, very professional and accommodating. The servers at the pool, beach , restaurants were all so happy and seemed to really enjoy their jobs and that made for a special experience as a guest. We did not come across any rude staff the entire week. They all seemed to really care for their guests and took pride in the hotel they represented. The beach was clean and overall we felt at home and very safe and well taken care of.

The actual hotel is very beautiful but the cleanliness was not up to par. I found roaches numerous times in my room although we didn’t keep food out. The cleaning lady’s wouldn’t come until after 4-5pm while my family was trying to get ready. Room service portions are so small for the price. I was constantly hungry after I ate. It was my first time in PR and it wasn’t memorable because of this hotel. The staff is very dry and don’t have the best customer service. We built a great Rapport with one of the bartenders Antonio (tony). He was great and my 1 year old loved him. Every time he saw he asked how our stay was going and if he could get us anything. There’s honestly better places where you get more for your money.
