One of the regions hidden gems, this is among the best of Sacramento Countys Parks. The public golf course is one of the most popular and heavily used in area, but is generally kept in very good condition.

One of the best golf courses in town. Highly under rated. Fall is the best time of year. Not uncommon to see turkey and deer on the course. Highly recommend checking it out.

This is the best public course in Sacramento...from the pro shop to the 19th hole to the tee boxes and greens. A great value and a beauty. A wonderful park to boot.

We like this place,coming again and again for the picnic and the river, kids like to play and swimm its pretty nice and this place never gets boring.

Great trail and area. Golf course is one on my favorite. Lots of trash not in trash cans in park area and people had set up camping tents but there is not supposed to be camping but no ranger there to patrol.

It is a beautiful park. Very clean. It is peaceful and serene. You can see all kinds of creatures, deer, birds, squirrels and the river is close by

A wonderful place for all. Plenty of room for distancing. We ride out bikes through there, and love the walking paths, picnic benches, sit by the river. A family favorite!

Pleasant surroundings for families. It is hard to social distance due limited trail space, but most are polite during these times.

Lots of trees make this a challenging course. The wildlife is abundant, and they dont seem to pay much attention to the golfers.

Public golf course. The entire area is maintained very well. They offer food and beer on draft. Golf gear shop on site. I havent had a chance to play on the course, but I plan on doing so very soon. I mainly go here for the peaceful patio and watch the golfers on the putting green.

An excellent and easy trail circles around the whole park and course. Plenty of spots to rest along the river. Really well maintained park.

Favorite course, but cant figure how one can GIR (greens in regulation) hole 16.

A great local place to play. Ive been coming here for over 20 year. Friendly staff, great prices, and great scenery.

Always a challenge and always a lot of fun. Easily one of the best public courses around. Well maintained and clean, even the bathrooms!

If you value your time dont play this course. Way over booked. Just finished a round only took about 6 hrs!! Never again!!!

Great park with great river and wildlife

Really nice inexpensive course. Had a lot of fun times out here. It can get crowded at times though. Hint: get a cart for sure. Thats half the fun.

Nice course. The day I played there were a lot of leaves on the ground and it was windy. But I still enjoyed the round.

We love playing here. Its like a golf course in the middle of a park with natures animals. Dear, coyotes, squirrels, turkey and geese. The course is in the best condition that I have seen in a long time

Some where to see real wild life, the deers and birds we saw them . Loved it , the park and river patch was okay .people really need to pick up after them self. Besides that lifes better when theres places like this in sacramento

Beautiful golf courses!

What can I say ...will overcharge you for golf, until youre crying. Went out at 530pm in May, charged $30 for 9 holes.....This course is notoriously overpriced but this was new level robbery. Its in mediocre condition most always. For the price, there are literally 10 or 20 courses in the greater Sacramento area available. If you are an avid Sacramento golfer, play this only to check it off the list, and move on.

I love the peacefulness of this park and golf course. We went to watch the Hagen Oaks fireworks show at Ancil Hoffman and we couldnt have had a better seat in the house. The park was clean, grass was well kempt and the restrooms werent horrible. Thats a win in my book. Nice park!

Greens rolling pretty quick but players arent fixing their ball marks.

Greens are good, fairways are excellent and the pub has draft beer. Whats not to like?

Funniest time was spent here definitely just came for fun but it got serious with challenging holes. If you do come youll have the funnest time in the world.

Hot day lots of shade perfect for birthday parties which was why I was there

EXCELLENT PLACE TO SPEND TIME WITH THE FAMILY. RIVER ACCESS, GRILLS, RESTROOMS, OPEN PLACES TO FLY A KITE, AND OF COURSE THE GOLF COURSE.

Its a nice place to go bbq ok restrooms large open grass areas places for horses or frisbee bike riding and river acess but the homeless camps or should i say dumpsites are scattered around so watch your kids dont want them picking up a needle.

This course is fun and challenging. It has narrow fairways with a ton of trees all over the place! Straight drives are critical, and the greens can tend to run a bit fast. The staff is great all around, but especially Sam is the best!

Course was in great shape. The staff was a awful. Girl that took tee times knew nothing. The people that check you in were not friendly. This could be easily a 1 star but the greens were good and the fairways were nice. This is a NARROW course.
