Theres a cover after 9pm (i believe) unless they changed it.Came here because of some friends who says the DJ plays good music.Indeed the DJ did play SOME good music and the dance floor is huge to dance with my girlfriends and not be rubbing shoulders with people. Thats definitely a plus.Lots of pool tables, chairs and high tops around the bar.The drinks are priced okay but I will say that the bartender was a bit unfriendly. I get it, I used to be a bartender and some people can be annoying. But she just did not put a smile on her face.Overall, Id return again when Im with a group but this is definitely not a place Id go without friends.

Bar regulars and Brian (bartender) made the place truly remarkable... seriously makes you want to move here to just become a regular yourself.The obnoxious, loud, profane, combative and entitled bouncer (off duty) in a Raiders jersey and the owners/managements awareness and disregard of the situation makes you wonder how they stay in business.

I always enjoy a fun but mellow bar experience, especially if it has multiple pool tables. Boars used to have around 10 but with a recent remodel that dropped to 3. A cool place with Djs playing often, sometimes bands but count yourself lucky if you can get onto a table during any busy times.

Great on a friday night for drinks and a great dance scene! Good times and 5 min walk to the beach good location. Lots of beautiful young people ages 21-40 ive seen older no discrimination but that is the typical young people hook up spot and its Active.

Bartender was already too drunk to know what i was asking for, but drink he gave me was pretty good... What ibreally didnt like was him expecting a huge tip even tho i wasnt given the service for it, i still tip him good but i dint feel it was earned since i didnt get the drink i ordered... Other then that everything elae was good

The ultimate dive bar. If you like that kind of environment then you will probably Love This Bar that has multiple pool tables and a rowdy crowd, but if thats really not your scene youre probably really going to hate this place. So to each his own

Favorite place to go on Thursday nights for $1 IPA in their large outdoor patio (one of the best kept secrets in Carlsbad Village). It gets pretty crazy on the weekends, with lots of people, long line but worth waiting.

Definitely a great spot to bring the friends or family for a night out on the town. Downtown Carlsbad night life is right here. Walk across the street to Coyotes if you like. Great drinks here try the Long islands. Make sure to play pool and dance your ass off before its too late because when the bar closes, so does the city.

This is literally my home away from home. I absolutely love the atmosphere. Every weekend is different. You never know who is gonna be there, what the crowd will be like, and what kind of story youre gonna leave with. One thing is for sure your leaving with a story to tell.

A little more on the outskirts of the other bars. Inside was spacious around 10pm ... and was filled up with a fun crowd by midnight. The music is mostly hip hop and was mixed well to keep the crowd interested. I had a tasty jam-o-gin.

Only stayed a minute but employees were very helpful.

I usually come to hang out with my husband and friends on Friday or Saturday nights. The music and environment is pretty good, plus with all the security around it feels safe. But last night once we already pay the fee to get in, I got out to smoke, and when I was trying to get back I had to do the line all over again... like I havent already earlier -.- The Bart tenders are nice, but they need better service and faster. Other than that not bad. But they could improve in their service.

Fun local place to play pool, mingle and dance if you like.

A great local bar to go to that is generally for the younger crowd. Depending on the night, the music is good and the outside patio is fun to hangout at. Only problem is the service, with only 2 bartenders sometimes you wait 15 minutes to get a drink.

Barbie and Sunshine are the best. New in town or just visiting go here and save money.

About 12 years ago I saw Fenix tx live at this bar. Good stuff

Computers down and NOBODY onsite canrectify issue. Cant get license or credit card tk leave. Been waiting almost an hour and still no result. Supposedly nobody can get tabclosed oit or getcredentials back!

Cheap drinks and loud music...

Ordered some food for pick up. It was ready in 10 minutes. The beef ribs were really good and chicken was delicious. Ill definitely go back to indulge on a Sunday.

Can’t take your drink with you in the bathroom. It’s like they want you to get roofied.I had 2 friends get roofied here and they aren’t sure if it was at the bar or because they left their drinks outside of the bathroom. Don’t drink here it’s shady

Its pretty cool. I wanted a virgin bloody Mary because trying to quit drinking. and bartender made it happen. I like bar atmosphere just dont want to get drunk anymore. I would defetnetly go back if Im in area. cool peeps

Awesome place for a beer or to shoot some pool. They have food out back sometimes too but not a full menu.

I came here with a bunch of friends, we had too many drinks and played card games at one of the tables. Great place to drink too much and not be judged by middle aged families. Little expensive, but good place to hang out and meet people.

***GHETTO BAR***First I want to start of with this why does a dive bar have a cover charge? Im an out of Townes who came down for a friends birthday and we decided to do the Carlsbad bar crawl hitting up all the bars in the Carlsbad village. Im so disgusted at the atmosphere of this bar and they hire these children to be bouncers. I came back to the bar at 12:30am after paying to get into this bar was told I couldnt return because the bar was closing. I think this is poor service and this will not be the last of my complaint I will be calling to speak with the manager because I feel discriminated against. I and my friend were the only two the bouncer didnt let in but let the rest of our group in and tried to tell us they worked there and thats why they could go back in. No one in our group works at this bar. If I could give it a zero star I would. Im so disappointed by the service and being I live in the city that never sleeps I have never been treated this way. Wont recommend or come back!

Never even made it inside this establishment. A $5 cover turned me away initially and was further solidified by a peasant doorman talking down to potential customers. If Im going to a bar, that isnt hosting any event or live music, just a typical Saturday night...I will NEVER pay a cover. Im already going into your establishment to spend money on liquor and beer, you dont get to charge a cover for doing nothing special. Your doorman cowardly said behind my back, If you cant afford $5, then why are you coming out tonight? And then, when questioned, shut his mouth real quick with a smirky grin.Im sorry little one, its not about money, its about principal. And Boars, you lost potential business because your squirrly doorman turned me away with his piss poor attitude.

Always a pleasure to deal with the staff and well mixed drinks as well as pool tables which adds to the appeal of this bar
