Ive made many wonderful friends here and I dont know who Id be without it.

Rainbow Cafe is an amazing place for the LGBT youth of southern Illinois, they are able to have a space to be themselves, meet other LGBT youth, and have access to education and information that will help them. The youth of Rainbow Cafe are amazing and Im happy to be able to be involved with the youth center as a mentor and happy we are able to provide this space for our local youth to feel empowered!

Ive been involved with RC since 2004, and I have witnessed lives change for the better! And also, the pizza rolls are always aflowin. RC is a fantastic place for 13-19 YO to meet new people, feel safe and affirmed, and just have a great time!

RC is the only LGBT youth center in Illinois south of Springfield! Free snacks, games, educational resources, and support for LGBTQ youth are available there every Friday night. RC is an important asset to the Southern Illinois community.

Why have a place for LGBT youth cafe, if its only open a day, or 2 a week.
