They have stickers to notify you if the seats have been cleaned prior to your use. Their popcorn is actually reasonably priced. There are a lot of options to pay prior to your arrival if youre concerned about covid-19. Masks are required during the movie unless youre eating. They have social distancing seat purchases. Most people arent going to the movies right now so if you want to go definitely recommend.

I always enjoy going there to see a good movie. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming!The theater is always clean and comfortable.My friends and I always enjoy the art they do on the chalk board for the Take 5 Lounge located up front.All around a good time!

Just saw HONEST THIEF with Leim Neason. He hasnt made bad movie. Cape West is doing their best to accommodate customers coming back. EVERYTHING was as sanitized as possible. Nice to be going back to the movies.

They did a nice job of modifying customer experience during COVID.

This is a great movie theater to go to. They have fold out lounge chairs that let you lay down and youre able to pull up the arm rests so you can lay down right by to the person next to you. Super comfy. You can also order food and theyll bring it right to your seat while the movie is playing. Great experience. There is also a bar with a huge TV screen that is usually playing sports games that you can go to while you wait for the movie to start. Never had a bad experience at this theater.

Theater is nice and seats were very nice but they didnt want to let our family sit together so the rest of them went back home. We stayed and I was dying for Nachos but they were absolutely disgusting....chips were like cardboard and jalapeños were frozen. Definitely need to change brands of tortilla chips.

Great place. I love going here after their remodel. The reclining seats are not fat friendly but still nice. The take 5 lounge and new restaurant there are amazing. They also have a fantastic popcorn tub that saves you money each visit!

I went here for a friends birthday party. I was pleased with how comfortable the new recliners were. If youre sensitive to light and loud noises, this place isnt for you, but what movie theater is? Anyways, the candy, popcorn, and drinks are all fresh and taste good, so 10/10 would recommend for anyone!

Good theater. Seats where you can put your feet up. Enough room you dont feel crowded. The surround sound is good, the picture is good. The employees are, for the most part, good to be around. If there is one short coming it is the concession stand. It is often chaotic, no one knows where the lines are, and I know it is the movies, and this is where most of the money comes from, but seriously. My family of 4, on $5 Tuesday, still cant go to the theater for less than $60-$70. Or I have to tell my kids nothing at the movies well go out and get a full meal afterwards. I would think, and I could be wrong, that if the prices were lowered, more people would buy, which would mean the same or better profits in the long run.I know it seems like a lot of complaints, I stand by my 4 stars. Good theater. I would always recommend Marcus Cape West!

Cape Girardeaus only Movie Theater. My experience has always been positive. Ever since Marcus took over, this place is awesome. If movies arent your thing, theyve got a bar inside. Prices are high on alcohol, but its hard to complain, as far as movie ticket pricing goes. 5 stars for my hometown theatre.

First time, it was great, but super warm in the theater.

Saw my first movie there in 2019. Me and a group of friends went there to watch “The Lion King” and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Good food, friendly employees, welcoming atmosphere, and good service. I’d recommend this place to anyone who loves going out to the movies.

Had date day with hubby. We saw Call of the Wild. Enjoyed the movie. Theater was well kept. Thanks for an enjoyable time.

I have always like the stadium seating set-up and I suppose most people like the recliners, but since I have back problems I prefer the original seats before the remodel. Unless you get to see your movie in the extra special bigger screen super duper deluxe theatre, the sound quality is not as good as it was before the remodel. All in all, I prefer the new theatre in Sikeston which has traditional seats, excellent sound in all the theatres, and have the heat turned up on cold days.

The dream lounger is great to cuddle with the wife on date night. The screen and sound was superb, 30 bucks tho for 2 people is a bit much on a Saturday night. But they run weekday specials. I recommend. Its clean and nice.

Nicely remodeled theater with lounger chairs. This theater usually has clean restrooms. They now have alcoholic beverages and lots of different food choices. The new management seems to have really turned around this theater. I would appreciate it if they would send staff into the theater occasionaly to make sure people arent always on their phone. If you pay to see a movie it why would you be on your phone the entire time?

I love the theatre seating and recliners. The movie viewing is above average. Theres a small restaurant where you can get food made to order and adult beverages and thats nice. However, the general concession experience is really lacking and the non-alcoholic drink selection is downright pathetic compared to other theaters.

Awesome deals on Tuesdays and Thursday’s(for students). The picture and sound quality is always the best. I love being here even if I didn’t enjoy the movie itself. Still worth it!

Love the place but tonight we had three drunk guys sitting behind my wife, my grandson , and I. I ask them to stop talking and after that didnt do any good I went to the front attendant and ask to speak to a manager . I explained the situation to him and he said he would check on it. No one ever said anything to them. They talked through the whole movie. One of them got up twice and came back and could hardly walk. Would have been nice if my complaint hadnt fell on deaf ears.

This is an awesome cinema I love being a rewards member because I get free popcorn on Tuesdays and tickets are cheap! I always go on Tuesdays and sometimes watch two movies. I like your long island ice teas too lol. The seats are comfy the experience is relaxing!

They need to be better at turning the lights out once the movie starts and needs longer hours for popcorn and concessions. Went there at a 9 oclock movie and couldnt get more popcorn at like 11:30. They make plenty of money to pay their employees to work those easy hours.

I am reporting on the cleanliness of this place! IT IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I mean seriously the fact that the drink station smells like vomit it’s just terrible. I believe the health department needs to do some sort of inspection. Also the bathrooms were HORRIBLE. There is absolutely no excuse for this. I understand that there are busy “peek” times but during that down time employees should not be standing around with their arms crossed. Maybe there should be someone hired to manage and keep the drink stations cleaned and also someone to check the restrooms every hour at least. Please fix these issues. There was a lot of money put into this theater and the employees are not helping keep it nice. Management needs to step up and resolve these issues.

On our trucker travels we rarely get a chance to stop for a 34 that amounts to much. We were lucky to stop and park at the Walmart near this theater and had a great time going two movies in two days. Clean recliner theater, with reserved seating and the food options are fantastic! You can order burgers or pizza and enjoy during the movie. If something sweet is more your thing, I ordered made to order donuts ....they are fried fresh, dusted with powdered sugar and you get a cup of chocolate and a cup of caramel for dipping.!! Sooo good. Staff were helpful and service fantastic! Hope to be back there in the future.

They’ve changed names from Wehrenberg to Marcus and it’s a little confusion even with AAA tickets but I still recommending this place stay have super awesome Tuesday deals five dollar tickets and five dollar drinks plus free popcorn if your a member you can’t beat this

Great seating, lots of space and very comfortable, great selection of snacks, and there is even an on site bar for adults. Like all theatres its a bit pricey but great for a date night or taking the kids out for some fun.

Great prices and a $5 movie Tuesday, they have the best seats and you can reserve online. Best thing to happen to cape like ever. I think anyway. I love the movies and they’ve added a bar, and a pizzeria and they still have movie deals from time to time that are great deals. Glad they changed it up.

Great place, if youre a bigger person however watch out for the seats it may snag your hips if you have someone else with ya. Fully stocked bar, great food. Ticket prices are a bit too high for my liking but other than that its great.

I flew 1200 miles to see Star Wars at this theater with my family in Missouri. Earlier this year my brother was diagnosed with leukemia making our tradition of watching our favorite franchise more important than ever. After the movie did not start playing at its scheduled time we were left to wait for almost two hours with only a it will be working in a minute before the movie was canceled and we were told that we could just go to a later showing, of course there were no seats that compared to the seats we bought over two months in advance for the premier theater. My brother risked illness to come to this theater and received what amounts to a brush off. This chain has let me down for the last time, they have lost my business for life.

I love this place to the fullest, even have a choice of a bigger screen. But the only problem is the financing with the snacks and the drinks. You are not allowed to bring outside food into the Marcus theaters even if it is closed. Sometimes not everyone has the money to get snacks like popcorn or soda or candy but other than that great bar, great employees, and such an easier way to pay and have fun!!!!

I dont want to go to another theater. This theater is absolutely amazing. The seats are comfortable and the screen is huge. Best of all you dont have butts in your face when people pass by you to go to the bathroom or anything. It is amazing. Wish all theaters were like this.

Upgraded to recliner seating nice move. Would be a five star rating but I dont like the led lighting on stairs. Not shielded enough and it is in your peripheral vision during the show.

Staff was extremely rude especially this teenage ticket taker. Theatre was nice as far as seats and whenever the outside food area is open. Went to an 8 am movie and felt harassed being asked to shake my blanket out and search my stuff for food and drinks. The same girl walked into the theatre just looking around right at the end of Avengers: Endgame. Will go back because their bar is nice when it’s open.

Marcus Cap West understands this and has invested in their theatre to make it a quality product. Reclining leather chairs, pizza, assigned seats, easy to use app, clean and updated bathrooms, not to mention discounted days of the week. Marcus has done what it takes in order to be a great movie theater. It posses one negative quality that all movie theatres have. Great smelling and over priced popcorn. Beyond that its a great place to watch a great movie.

My friend and I went to Cape West to watch A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood . We bought some food and drinks. My friend wanted a slushy, but they were out. She threw the cup away because she was frustrated. I learned about the situation and asked for another cup, since she did not want to put soda in a cup that had some slush in it. They refused to give us a new cup. They said we just cant give you another one. If youre going to Cape West, be prepared to deal with ignorance.

The stadium seating and the dream loungers..... My first experience with the loungers and it was perfect. Didnt have to worry about seeing around a head in front and wasnt fighting for elbow space on the arm rest. Its well worth the ticket price for a truly relaxed movie theater experience.

Wow. Nicest movie theater in the US. The Dream Lounger chairs are awesome. You can lay fully back in the electric recliner and people still have room to walk in front of you. I highly recommend a visit. However, heads up, we paid $11 a person. It’s worth it though

Dream loungers / power recliners in ALL theaters are great, service is decent but the sound levels in some theaters are too quiet, especially for action movies. If Im watching the new Terminator movie (which is AWFUL by the way...) I should not be able to hear other people eating popcorn during a gun fight. Turn it up!

I love the $5 movie Tuesdays! The theater has made so many improvements. The seats are bigger and more comfortable. I also love being able to reserve my seat ahead of time. My only complaint is the popcorn. The popcorn has not been improved. It’s always somewhat chewy instead of crunchy.

The remodel is interesting. Not sure that the large increase in cost is worth being able to recline. Took three adults and one child to a matinee, tickets were $43 total. I enjoyed the movie, but for that price I will probably stay home and watch the next movie in my own recliner!

Great prices, awesome seats, a bar!! Very glad to see a theater like this in Cape Girardeau. We will definitely be back when come back for a visit.
