Although short staffed when we were there, it was a fantastic experience. Everything you could want for a night out. It was busy, but not crowded. Easy to maintain social distancing. Large selection of beer on tap, though the pour seems a little slow.Overall, looking forward to my next visit.

I really want to like this place it has so much potential. The virtual sports was a waste of money the screen was off center so were the sensors. We paid for axe throwing then was told by another employee it was only 18 +, so we got a refund. We bowled on 1st lane, for a competitive family it was frustrating the lane was uneven. The arcade was fun. The live music was entertaining but too loud to communicate over. The oversized jenga was fun. We also enjoyed the corn hole. The tiki drink was delicious. The service left much to improve on but the space is great and has fun entertainment for a group.

Great games and awesome service. Very modern and fun environment! Highly recommend if you’re looking to acquaint yourself with new or current friends. Fun place. Great service but the taps were just pouring foam and they charged us for beer we didnt get to drink!

I really enjoy the variety at this place. Great for crowds of any size. We showed up with a party of at least 20 without reservation and they had no problem seating us. The service was really struggling at first but they have come a long way since they opened and I feel they will only get better with time.

Went here with the family, and it was fun. The food was good, although a little pricey. The waiter did mess up our orders a bit but the rest of the eating experience was fine. Seems to be more of a college student hangout, so I felt a bit out of place. Really cool place for the youth to hang out, and stay out of trouble though.

Our family is from 3.5 hours away and we had a great time! We’ve been to saint Louis many times and never came across this place but ran across this page of Facebook and decided to check it out! It was my mom, my wife, our 3.5 year old, and of course myself. The atmosphere was AMAZING and so inviting. I loved how there was a balance of paid things to do and also free experiences. This place can be a bit chaotic, but the one thing that grounds it all is their bartender and local wizard, Linda. She always recommends the best drink, cares about her clientele, and is so friendly no matter what.

Went there to eat. Looked like a nice place. Barely anyone in there when I was there, so not busy at all. After the waiter took our order he said we had to give a card or pay cash up front for our meal. Never heard of such a thing. He said that was the policy. Ridiculous to expect a customer to pay up front at a sit down restaurant.

Have lots of indoor and outdoor space being six feet apart is no problem.

Lots of things to do and a serve your own beer wall of taps using a electronic bracelet to keep track of what you get, then you pay at the end. Cool concepts and super modern, there is something for everyone to do! Pool tables, 4 bowling lanes, Axe throwing, and much more in addition to the arcade.

While there plenty to do, place is severely under staff. Found ourselves waiting for staff several times. They were doing the best they could, but a large place for just a few staff members. Has a cool beer wall when 1/2 the taps arent empty and the lines are clean so you can get a decent poor. Ill still stop by while in town, but place has room for growth.

This place is very unique and pretty awesome honestly. They have something for everyone. There is so many different things to do, everything from pool to axe throwing and so much more. They even have a patio with glide chairs for a little more quiet and intimate setting. I have this 5 stars because I think it really deserves it for all the different options you have to choose from!!

The staff is pretty good and Ive never had a problem with them. There is also a lot to do. There are a few bowling lanes, a place to do axe throwing, and an arcade, plus plenty of room to just hang out with people. I cant say how good the food is as Ive never eaten any, but there is a large selection of draft Bevs to drink with a large bar as well. All around its a good place to hang out with people, if you dont mind it being a little crowded sometimes

Cape Girardeaus equivalent to a Dave and Busters only better! Super duper fun for the whole family! They have darts, an entire game room that you can do by the half hour, hour or load up a game card with money. Theres axe throwing, air hockey, a beer wall with wrist bands to try whatever you want, excellent food. Its our favorite place for date night!

My first experience today.Food - terrible. There was one item from the 4 ordered that was decent. One was completely inedible and sent back (which they remade without asking).Service - Out of the 4 sodas ordered, 2 were incorrect and one was flat. I personally ordered ginger ale and received club soda (they don’t even remotely look the same).Games - I purchased (2) of the $25+$10 game cards and a $15+$5 card. None of the cards had the bonus amounts loaded.A bad experience overall.

Good place to while away time

Very fun place , but very loud . Game days are even louder and very crowded. Overall we love going. Had great food every time we ate the service is pretty here and there . Sometimes its great and sometimes its hard to get anything done . Best to sit directly in restaurant part or your not taken care of .

This place was rad, so many activities and the servers and bartenders were amazing, the food was delicious, all and all it was just great I will definitely be going back their pizza was killer, the axe throwing was quite the experience and the arcade was just crazy, they even have bowling, and its all under one roof it truly is wild.

This place is the perfect hangout spot. The atmosphere is amazing and there is so much to do. I have spent many fun evenings here with friends and family, so it’s made for any and all ages. Definitely make plans to visit here in the near future.

Great venue and activities. It was pretty slow because it was a Sunday. However service was not the best. Granted we had a big group, but again. It was not busy. Multiple times we had to track down a server to get water or a drink.

We had a FANTASTIC first visit! We tried everything except the VR games, and axe throwing was definitely my favorite. Our server, Amanda, was fantastic and patient with the thousand questions I had. Great place. Really good food and super friendly staff. Its literally for anyone who is bored in cape and just wants to enjoy, play games,eat food, have a good time(not to forget all this is under the same roof so you dont need to go anywhere else).

Tonight was my first visit and probably my last.First their official website stated they are closed on Monday and Tuesday but Facebook said they was open and they was open so their website isn’t showing correct Info.We went with friends and their kids tonight and wanted to mostly spend time in the arcade area. The girl behind the counter knew nothing about anything in regards to the arcade that she was working in. Asked her which games qualified under the $7 for 30 minutes and she said “I don’t know” and she never offered to find out. We had one game we wanted to play but didn’t take a card but only coin or token. She didn’t know what it took so I was like well I’ll try both. She told me that the place was out of tokens so I asked for quarters and she said she was out of quarters. I went to the bar and to the register up front and no one had quarters. One girl asked a manager and she came back and told me they didn’t have any quarters in the whole building. So an arcade had no coins or tokens and the only arcade worker knew nothing about which games worked with what. I voiced my concern and all I got was absent apologizes from workers and shoulder shrugs. On top of that the girl behind the arcade counter told me I could get tokens out of the waterfall machine (similar to those quarter machines you see in gas stations that drop quarters) so I put money on a card and played one and it didn’t spit out tokens but just gave me point credit on a card. So I wasted $10 on a card to get tokens (the round about way) from a game and all it gave me was token credits I’ll never use since I’ll probably never come back. For someplace that is designed as an arcade and fun factory they was grossly under prepared and staff was under trained.

Whenever I go to Cape for business, I usually hit up Dogwood. Its easy and versatile.Its got pretty much everything but its a master of none. So if you want a place where you can switch quicky from axe throwing to bowling all while watching the big game, this is a good place for you. If you were looking for a competitive game of pool or shuffleboard, maybe go somewhere that specializes in that.My biggest complaint is the service. Last time I was there, I had no idea who my server was and neither did they. This resulted in it being very hard to close out my tab. Also a machine pours the drink, which gives up a little bit of authenticity.

Pretty neat environment. Huge space, lots of tables, a good place to watch a sports game or to have and all ages party. There were some table games, including jumbo Jenga, and there was a good-sized arcade, whose ball and table hockey tables, hand axe throwing. I would go back again. There was a little something for everybody. But the sangria was terrible. Dont. Just dont.

Awesome place to eat, drink, game, and have a great time all around.I had their NY steak and it on par with most bar restaurants. Flavorful, just right, and for the price, just right!There are a lot of games and activities to do here, so best to plan for a good 2+ hours.Well be back!

The food was good and enjoyed the atmosphere but the tables that were reserved had been expired 1- 11/2 hrs past set time and we werent able to sit at one of those available tables.

For the most part I enjoyed myself until me and my friends decided to do kareoke. The manager for that night explained to me that there will be a $100 deposit in case something broke but they will NOT take it off of my card otherwise I wouldnt have gave them my card knowing I didnt have that much in my account. So Monday when I get to work and try to buy a soda my card is declined. Checked my card and Dogwood has taken $136 off making me overdraft. So now I have to go in my saving to get out of negative. I went there to get it resolved and the lady said it would be a couple days, a couple days go by and she says its gonna be 5-7 days. Needless to say I still havent got my $100 and they pretty much act like they dont care. It shouldnt have been taken off anyway they need to refund the whole $136. Im so upset.I have already been in there and talked to whoever I needed to talk to twice. Still waiting on my money that should have not been taken out of my account in the first place.

Everythings great, but it is just hard to hear. Dont get me wrong there were a lot of people there but not packed and mostly the music but also just noise makes it hard to converse even when sitting across from someone at a table

Good food at good price. Kitchen really fast. Server super attentive. Room Accommodates large crowd without feeling crowded.

This place has such great potential, but is extremely poorly managed. We waited 30 mins to get someone to help set us up for bowling (give us shoes and turn the thing on), the beer I wanted stopped working and I asked if they could assist.... 15 mins later still no beer, so I tried something else. People were asking us how we got assistance to get set up with bowling and I had to tell them we had to have a bar tender come up finally. Just a bummer because it could be a really neat place.

Newly opened. Understaffed due to bad weather. Looks like a young crowd. Lots of interesting activities. Would like to try the axe throwing and check out the menu. Id be able to give a better review after that. They have karaoke room by the hour, but Im not sure how that works. I think that would be fun to try with nobody listening. Ive been seeing a lot of good bands are performing there, so Im sure Ill be back soon for a second evaluation. It does look like fun...

We visited Dogwood during SEMO family weekend, we had 5 people on our ticket and 9 people total at out table. The waitress charged us each individually and added 15% gratuity to each ticket instead of putting all 5 of us on 1 ticket and charging us gratuity once, our bill was over $200...won’t be doing that again!!! I’m not complaining about gratuity for our large party, I’ve never been anywhere that does it individually!

This is a really neat place in Cape. Its a great time for adults, and before 8pm its a great place for Children too! LOVE it here

This is a wonderful place to eat and have fun. Its spacious and clean. A very laid back atmosphere.

Weve been here before and loved it for a date, but we brought our kids on Sunday and have never had such aweful customer service!!!!! No one tending to our area and wasted half of our time trying to get our bowling stuff fixed because the bumpers werent working and it was only setting up some of the pins when it reracked them SOO disappointing!

You are not greeted or well in any way. We were first time guests and had no idea how to go about participating in the activities. We sat at a booth for nearly half hour before getting a server. Not a good first impression.

Loved the atmosphere, music, and arcade games, however, there are many things wrong with how they run this company. Prices were extremely expensive and unnecessary. $20 for bowling for two people on wooden lanes? And $10 for one cocktail? Spent $60 to have a nice night out, which, was our fault in the end. Also, the age limit after 10pm needs to change. I understand adults will drink heavily after this time, but I brought someone of 20 years old and was kicked out. I feel 21 is way too high to have a night of bowling and arcade games. Overall, had fun meeting new people and playing pool, but was not stoked about the 10pm rule, some prices, and where to go to order food/drinks.

SEMO softball team had their watch party Sunday evening the atmosphere was perfect! Our waiter Matthew Cook did an outstanding job! We received or drinks and food right away. The way Matthew handles the large group was amazing!

I love the variety of food! The place is perfect for groups as well. The karaoke room is perfect for a private group! They make excellent drinks!!
