The playground is very shady with nice picnic tables and a small pavilion. Although there is no swimming there is a nice beach with several pavilions and small grills. Great place to launch a kayak.There is also a great preschool on the grounds. The rec center can be rented out for your next event from birthday parties to baby or bridal showers . Its even a good location for a small beach wedding and an indoor reception. The rate for renting the facilities is the best Ive seen.

This place is absolutely beautiful. I have never been here really to the Cape lived mostly in Fort Myers for the last three years and in Naples. However I found a park and it’s called freedom Park and it’s absolutely beautiful

Love this park! Its my favorite! Its a great place for toddlers and youngsters. The playground is huge and fenced in making it very secure. I take my great grandson there and he runs and plays for hours. He loves it more than I do!!

This is a pretty nice park. lots of shade. a pretty area with sand and a gorgeous river, lots of benches, its also right near an ice cream place nearby. the only issue is there are homeless people sleeping there occasionally.

My husband and I went and BBQed, great atmosphere...only one thing...no bathroom. And flies galore after our food, but who could blame them?

This is a great park in a location near my neighborhood. Theres something to play on for children of all sizes and its right behind a really yummy ice cream shop!

My grandsons love this park, always find someone to play with there. Beautiful old shade trees, and nice playground equipment. Small enough to let them play and keep an eye on them without following them everywhere.

Perfect for little ones that are just walking, plenty of play equipment. Beautiful sandy area right by the water. Lots of shade and great picnic tables..you dont need to be a child to enjoy the view from the pervillians provided a few feet from the water..what a lovely place for a picnic, young or old..

Not a Huge park but we have a playgrounds with clean turf and located next to a beautiful lake which you can fishing, volleyball and kayaking. We always stop by for our little boy having fun time after his school every day. My boy loves to chasing squirrels here. You can have a great day Here whith your family and friends...

Small down town public park with a small beach and small boat dock. Public events are often hosted here (cardboard Boat race is pictured). There are a couple shelters and toliets and a large childrens play area nearby.

Small clean park with playground, Sandy Beach and a canal view. Plenty of wildlife (squirrels and birds and of course your usual lizards) covered picnic area, benches to enjoy the view. Plenty of space for the kids to run around or bring a blanket for a grassy more private picnic. Generous parking. Not sure if fishing is allowed. All animals are protected and belong to the Florida wildlife agency. See park rules upon arrival sunrise to sunset hours. Have fun!

Been coming to this park since I was a child , amazing to see the changes over time.

I instruct traditional Karate here at Four Freedoms, and between the excellent and friendly staff, to the cleanliness of the building, I love teaching at this studio.

Four freedoms is one of our favorite parks. I love that it is fenced in so it is easier to keep track of my kids as they are running around.

Boat paradelighted w Cmas decorations and 2 huge screen viewing of Cmas movie was free Had shuttle service from free satallite parking. A few glitches including the park itself is not big enough for more than about 100 ppl to see happenings.

My daughter loves this park. And its maintained very well and the park Ranger is always driving around if you are ever in need of help. Oh and the ice cream shop right in front of the park is AMAZING

Clean, safe and a wonderful atmosphere for families to spend time with their children and others.

I love bringing my almost 2 year old twins here. The gate is perfect for me to be able to give them the freedom to run around independently. There isn’t trash everywhere and the playgrounds are very well kept. I also like that there is a variety to suit different age groups.

They said it was dog freindly...ummm, not really..in fact, it is just a patk for kids and if you have a dog, you can walk on the perimeter..so not dog friendly just allows you to walk on the sidewalk...there are plenty of places to go with Fido..dont go to this park.

Its a nice park with a view of the basin. Only reason Im giving it 3 stars is because there are always drug addict looking people hanging out there. Play area for the kids is fenced in and the druggies stay out of that area.

Great park for your little ones. Fenced in so no worries about running into the street. Lotsnof squirrels and shade. Fake grass ateas available through out for your little ones learning to walk. Clean accessible restrooms. Three different playgrounds for the different ages. Benches, picnic tables and one covered area for rentals. Outsdie of the park there is a lake with a sand area and Bbqs. I have seen people fishing , flying kites ridding bikes on the outskirts of the park. Overall great park. I highly recommend it.

Very cool and exceptional run, cape should be proud. Captains are very skilled in such a small basin to navigate.

This is a nice gated playground near our home. We love it because there are different areas for bigger or smaller children. The play equipment is sturdy and well maintained. Theres a big selection of picnic tables in the middle. You have a nice view of the sailboats and a small beach as well(no access beach). There are some big trees in the area for a little shade but it only covers half of the park. It gets hot very quick. Also, theres like 5 gate entry points and sometimes people dont close them so that gets annoying for safety. Parking is usually adequate and its walking distance to the ice cream shop.

I picked a hot almost summer day to bring my grandson to the playground. It would have been more enjoyable for me if there was more shade and seating near each playground area. There were lots of garbage cans and the place was clean. The gate kept children safe and most of all I liked the protective ground cover. It was bouncy and attractive.

Huge park, playgrounds, fishing, volleyball and sometimes they have events. I live on the next street so its within walking distance for me.

Some of the problems of the past have beso this nice little urban park is even nicer than before. there were problems with floating vagrants allegedly dumping waste and making a lot of noise. I anchored here for over a week with no problems or any sign of same. According to the Cape Coral Harbor Master, dinghys can still be docked but must be off the dock at sunset. this doesnt appear to be tightly enforced as I went to dinner and visited with friends ashore several times, returning after dark.

Its fairly quiet and clean and its by the water.

I love this park and so do my children! They are 18 months and 4 years and we come here quite often as it is within walking distance to our house and they never get bored of it. It has many different play areas for every age group/level of play and is very shady with many trees. It also boasts a beautiful view of the Bimini Basin and a small beach and picnic areas for those who are seeking a more relaxing, quiet park experience.

This is a great park. Its completely fenced in & it has some nice shade areas as well as sunny areas. They also have an area you can walk down to that has a water inlet that is beautiful to see the sunset here. The park also has bathrooms as well as play features for younger& older kids too. Lots of friendly squirrels to watch. Has cameras for your safety too.

Beautiful Views on the walking trails. Too bad I couldnt bring my dogs. Excellent water views, interesting triails through wooded area. A favorite place.

We love this classic cape park with its amazing oaks, grassy field and knoll, and the manicured sandy edge along the lake make it a unique park space within the cape city park system. 3 generations of our family have grown up with this park and everyone of us LOVE it... dont change a thing city of Cape Coral!!

I had a great time at the park watching all the boats with all there lights on there boats for Christmas. And while we were there the Space Station flew over head and I got a picture of it. It was a great thing to see. That white dot in the picture is the Space Station.

We were there on Easter Sunday my grandson and i had fun he played with 2 boys for hrs .

My son loves this park and my wife and i like the fact that its always clean and safe
