I used to love going here to line dance all night but now you guys barely even play country music. Too much rap and it has brought in too much of the wrong crowd of people and has honestly ruined Dixie. If I wanted to listen and dance to rap, I could go to any other bar in Cape Coral or Ft. Myers. The country songs that are still played are fun, I just want more!

It was my first time here for the Dirty Honey band concert. Great place! Plenty of room and some table and chairs, but mostly open floor facing the stage which is great for watching a band and dancing to live music and music from the DJ. The only negative is no food. Still a great place!

Went here for a concert. Paid for my ticket and stepped out to get some air as it was getting crowded and got told I could re-enter as they were over capacity yet they were selling tickets at door... I pre-ordered my ticket

Just spend 5 minutes in here and youll leave smelling like an ashtray. Very classy. Dixie should take the lead and seperate itself from the other smoking bars in Cape Coral.

Fun time with my wife and her co worker, love that they are opened late because most things close early in this town. hope to be back again soon

They merry all the liquor bottles here so when you ask for goose depending on who closed that night you might get what you asked for

Great service. The management and most of the bartenders are some of the friendliest people I have met before. The food here is also great. Music can use a little improvement.But the patrons that go here are a whole different story. A lot of them are closed off and anti social, they keep within their cliques and they dont dance with anyone outside their cliques, not even during party hour, so guys that have no choice but to go here alone often end up without a single dance with someone all night. People, if you are going to go to nightclubs and close yourselves off in closed cliques from everyone else, do us a favor and take your anti-social, anti-stranger personalities back to Chicago, Il.

Had a great time. Line dancing is not my thing. At times did have club music. Dress for a warm atmosphere. Drinks where good. A little over priced

Took my son recently for his first country bar experience. We stopped in for drinks and food before attending the Puddle of Mudd and Saliva concert in their outside concert venue. The drinks were great and the food better than expected. It was also nice watching people dancing, drinking, and just having a good time. We shall return.

Never been, so can’t give a review, but if you are 18 years old can you get in at all with or without a parent?

There is plenty of parking in the back 2 lots. There is a $5.00 cover charge and everyone will get carded.The space is open and large with 4 bars, the largest one has seating and there are dining tables. The decor is layered with country and antiques. The drinks were strong and service was okay. There is good country and southern rock music playing with occasional line dancing instructions.But, there is smoking throughout and we had a smoker beside us.

I have been to Dixies a few times, mainly with a friend who loves to line dance. No me personally, I am not much of a dancer. However, if you are one who wants to dance and not in a club scene, then this is a good option for you. They also have 3 bar stations, so it is pretty easy to get drinks anywhere in the building and they are open pretty late for the dancing, so dance the night away if you are into that

The Reggae Festival was a wash out- literally! I bless the rain this time of year but think Dixie Roadhouse (DR) could have done a better job of having a back up plan for the weather. Bought the all inclusive VIP tickets and was very disappointed with the amenities, or the lack thereof. The designated VIP stage areas were incredibly small and could not accommodate the number of people who had paid for it. The food was catered and mediocre. Free beer garden, compliments of the VIP premium $$$, was rot gut old kegs. God bless the vendors who stuck it out and stayed! Tasty treats and cool memorabilia were offered but of course non inclusive of the VIP package... Hey, DR! Heres an idea, why not arrange something with the vendors to hand out a few free $$$ merchandise tickets for redemption at the booths? Something to say hey, we know this is a sucky event because of the weather but thanks for coming.? We will go back (hopefully with better weather) but not going to pay the extra $$$.

Love Dixie... Im 58 years old and the young crowd here are so welcoming. I love the line dancing and am trying to learn, its soooo fun!

We showed up on a Saturday night... It was kinda dead in there for a Saturday night. Cool concept and lots of space for large amounts of people. Drinks seemed reasonable, menu seemed to be a good one, beers seemed to be a bit warm. All in all a decent place, way younger crowd of people.

I loved it so much we went back again the next night. Great country music & line dancing! Friendly barstaff! Definitely a new hang out for me. Just wish they had more line dance lessons!

I love the live music events. I have attended a couple good headline rock concerts as well as 2 consecutive attendances to their annual reggae festival and plan to again. Normally Im not into country type places but the alignment of this one is very diverse.

This place is great for a heck of a night. Get ready to party your butt off here. This place has good food, great music, awesome entertainment, and if you feel like dancing a little no one will judge you it is normal.

I watched two girls get kicked out in a row. Both didn’t seem aggressive or like they were botherin anyone. Why can’t they do the Normal thing like give them a water or coffee? Instead they do the more dangerous thing by sending them out without a door fee-refund into the street. I was floored. They have bodyguards walk around with earphones like they are CIA agents and get in these girls faces. After that, we weren’t givin them one more dime. Lame music too. Go to The Ranch if you’re looking for better country music and people that act like they care. Can’t believe I saw them treat women like that.

Coolest bar Ive been to in Florida!!!! Lots of fun. They have a hugeeeee group of people square dancing to all kinds of songs. Theres like two bar with different themes within it. Good prices on drinks. It is loud and crowded but a good time for sure!!!

One of the better places in town. If youre looking to go dance and have reasonable priced drinks and just an all-out fun time. This is one of the better places in the cape.

We have been there yesterday. As tourists from Europe we got recommend that place. THIS night I recognized in total 4 fights. It seems to be that the security does not a good job at the entrance. Usually such guys shouldnt come inside or be sorted out during the night.. We give it another try tonight hope it will be better and no fights there.

What an awesome place! Thank you Dixie roadhouse for introducing Lee county to real line dancing and for committing to keep it that way! I have enjoyed going to Dixie since it opened. Dixie roadhouse a local country bar that plays top 40s as well, does regular line dance lessons each night for beginners and even has food available if you get hungry after all the cardio! This is been such a great place for making new friends, people watching, enjoying a few drinks and dancing the night away! This place is a must go for anyone that visits Cape Coral. As of today Tuesdays are coin night where you can get drinks for a quarter until 10 PM Wednesday night is ladies night & ladies drink free and then of course Friday and Saturday nights are extremely popular for anyone looking to get out of the house and have a lot of fun! Get there by eight for some awesome dance lessons early and the lessons continue through the night every hour or so. Open until 2 AMI gave this bar one less star as they allow patrons to smoke inside and I dont believe the ventilation works very well as it gets really bad and its clear the bar hasnt been deep cleaned since its opening 4+years ago, if it wasnt for the size this would surely be a dive. Public service announcement: you may need to leave your clothes outside after visiting Dixie as you will wreak like smoke.

Too much smoking going on inside there. Went to enjoy a show, wife and I left before the show started. It is overwhelming in there with smoke. Ended up throwing out the hat I was wearing, couldnt get the smell out of it.If you go there be prepared for this.

The owner constantly approached my friends and said I was rude to bartenders and too intoxicated. I had been drinking water for 2 hours and I spoke to a bartender once to order a glass. Minding our own business dancing. The owner is garbage and should check her priorities. Never going here again.

Always a good time at Dixie! They have drink specials and line dance lessons. It’s safe, security is top notch. They have a girl in the bathroom with hairspray and breath mints on the busy nights lol

I went to Dixies for my birthday, I was having a good night until the blonde bartenders boyfriend walked up to me n said you know bartenders work for tips right... then walked away from me. I had gave her a 40 dollar tip for 1 round of Shots. So I rounded up everybody n we left and went somewhere else. So because of your unprofessional bartender yall lost 5 great customers who will not be returning.

Who wouldnt love a place to line dance, not to mention DJ John who is the coolest dad...er, DJ, Ive ever met. We love it at Dixie! Its a warm environment and very unjudgmental for new dancers. Many of the experienced dancers will help newbies learn the moves.

It was my third time that I ever have went to a country bar but I really enjoyed myself. Great music believe it or not not only country their drinks are simply not mix with water so if you order straight up whiskey hundred percent youll get straight up black whiskey

Went to Halloween fright night advertised as family friendly...what a joke. Paid $30 for 3 adults to take 2 kids in- nothing there for kids to do. Really no energy for adults either. $6 a beer to spend 10 minutes figuring out wed been had. Door staff parroted a could care less attitude obviously promoted by management. Cant wait till this place finishes spinning its way around the toilet bowl and finally tanks.

Im not much of a dancer, so Im being biased right off the bat. Theres a $5 cover charge. Smoking is allowed and Im not a smoker. You have to yell to talk, and I like to converse with people. Im more if the guy that stands there, watches the dancing and hangs out with friends. If you like dancing though, this is the place for you. Always a big turnout

Perfect for a fun night out!! Don’t think the $2 tube shots have any alcohol in them. Came here for at a bachelorette party and had five of them and felt absolutely nothing... Lady at the door checking IDs was not at all friendly either.

Not the best place Ive ever been but not the worst. Gave only 3 stars because there is nowhere you can go that somewhere someone isnt smoking and blowing it on you and for a place that serves food I thought this wasnt allowed. They made the best of a very rainy situation that might otherwise had been canceled since it was supposed to be to be outback but the staff are all very nice, food and service was good.

We saw the news report on 3/30/16 about the cancellation of the 4am closing changing back to 2am and Dixie owner / manager saying they will have to leave Cape Coral. Yea! Leave. Most Cape Coral residents dont want you here, including how your business increases crime and DUIs in the area. Also read that you said you lost money before the 4am rule. Backstreets and other establishments werent losing money during the 2am rule. Maybe it is your poor management and not understanding basic math of profit/loss. Darwinism at work.
