Very wonderful people. This is a great little bar and I have been patron for years. This little place is open to all walks of life, cant find a better group of people. Owner s are great and always the bar staff is a great group. They are always helpful to newcomers and are all well versed on the towns happenings. They have cheary people and a fun night is had by all.!!!!!! Check it out!!!! Wendy

Worst experience Ive ever encountered in a bar! (first time customer).... (Eleia)The bar tender was MIA for the first 15 min. of me entering and sitting at the bar! She was inattentive, rude, and lazy! I thought I was going to an amazing local spot!

Excellent place. Owner welcomed us with open arms. Cant wait to go back again. A total hidden jem. You will not be dissapointed. Great food atmosphere and hospitality. Must visit if in area.

I would recommend you NOT to go into this bar if you listen to any music other than country music. I was visiting my sister and we decided to stop in for a few drinks. I put $20 into the juke box and patiently waited to hear some of my favorite music. After four or five more country songs my music finally came up. The nasty bartender, Donna, turned down the volume on the juke box! I asked her why and she replied because it gives me a fuc***g headache!!! I replied well, thats not fair, I just put $20 in there she then told me too fuc***g bad!!! I left my Grey Goose and cranberry (which sucked anyway) and headed out the door. Poor customer service for sure. There were 6 of us in my group so I guess you guys missed out on a lot of money that evening. We headed out to another local bar that happily played my music and treated us like gold. I will never return to the STRAW HAT again.

Great place to go for a drink, pool, darts, without the overpriced tourist scene and yahoos.
