Nice secluded park for short distance, no elevation walking or running. The trail portion is actually located past the furthest parking lot from the entrance (not where it is showing on the map) and is gravel-based for most of the way except the very back part. It is a bit difficult to see the river from the trail if there is any foliage, but there is one portion that has an open view near the beginning. Theres also sports facilities that look to be open to the public as well. Believe there are also trails that go off the main one into more wooded areas, but did not venture on to those as it was muddy from previous rain.

Beautiful! A hidden gem....please be aware you have options to excercise on a track. If you choose to hike there is a clear sign that explains hiking after 10 am since there is an active hunting season at the moment in the area! For safety reasons it is recommended to wear bright colored clothes

Its pretty hard to find behind a water treatment facility. The road is not very well taken care of. There are plenty of fields for baseball and soccer, but most of them do not drain well and dont appear to be very well taken care of with grass being overgrown in several spots. Parking is tough to find and sometimes Ive had to walk a stroller and a 3 year old through mud to get to the field. Considering that Forsyth is about 30 minutes away with MUCH better parks, Id avoid this one.

We had a great timehiking the trails. I missed the description of the different paths that are color coded so I need to look into that. No dogs allowed in that area unfortunately, but I can appreciate it still. Beautiful river views and semi accessible areas to the river from the trails.

Nice gravel course to run/walk, would definitely recommend that! It does get pretty busy in the afternoons when the school is having a track meet. Tennis courts are nice. Basketball court is terrible, loose hoops and the court is cracked with grass growing in it.

I LOVE the simplicity of the trail. Why I gave Two stars is for the no dog policy. The people who can be responsible & pick up after them (or what ever reason this is a thing) are suffering for not being able too being their pets.I wont come to this park (4 minutes from my house) because of this. The litter bugs around these trails are worse than dog poop in my opinion. Also what happened to the little playground? No fixing? Just tore it down. Cant say ill be back anytime soon sadly.Attention to the first boy Scout bridge. It has a broken out board leaving quite a large gap. Please be cautious and careful.

There are a lot of trail options that start out here..maybe I missed it but they should have a better sign in the front of the trails we almost gave up and missed out. Half way through we found another sign of all the trails. At the back of the parking lot is a wood trail with trees painted with two red lines. Take that one for a real wood hike that leads to river and creek access

I love Boling park I love working out there I feel like when I get to workout over there I feel like I get a thorough workout. Unlike any other park that Ive that been too I dont feel like I get the workout like I do at Boling park. But however what I dont like is they are poorly organized when it comes to events because guys like me who just wants to workout cant because of events you dont know about until you get over there.

Its a good place for a good walk, jog, or run. The gravel track is one mile. The Etowah River is along side the track. At times you will see wild life just roaming around. Just watch from a distance. You can look at the river in a couple of spots. Dont get close to the edge. Also there is another trail if you want a nature hike. Parking is abundant except during late afternoon and early evening. Its because of track and little league football practices. Thats when parking will become scarce at times. Come around morning to mid afternoon.

Little park with a 1.2 mile mostly gravel track. A very small hill and access to a wood behind. The river is also accessible for fishing from the park. There is a small exercise area by the loop and a fairly flat long field that could be used for playing games. I was there for a 12 hour run and it was perfect for that.

Its a fine park, the only issue I see, which they likely wont resolve, is the creation of permanent restrooms near the trail as opposed the porta potties. Kind of gross. Also, if they do create them: dont be like Forsyth add at least 3 stalls to the mens room, 1 never cuts it.

There is a beautiful, secret trail at the back, nice walk on the river. There are many out jutting rocks you can sit on, that can give you are closer look at the clear water. There is also a really cool bridge, that the Boy Scouts built. The trees in the second field, are perfect for hanging a hammock. :D

The restrooms are ALWAYS locked. The playground equipment isnt well-maintained at all. The speed bumps tear the undercarriage of my car up. It is ridiculous! I love the walking trail, but it isnt worth messing up my car to get to it. Do NOT attempt to go to this park if you have a lowered sports car.

An
Review №77

Dont let the sewage treatment plant or super sized speed bumps deter you. Drive as far as you can and there are gravel walking paths to enjoy and if you want some woodsy hiking, go to the end and enter the woods through the opening in the bushes and make an immediate left. This trail follows the river for quite a long way. Side trails can be explored. Dont get lost but you can hike all the way to Hightower Church.
