After 4 years of having a permanent site here, I am changing my review. I originally gave it 5 stars. Since then the place has become overcrowded. Campers and cabin crammed together. Woods torn out to cram more campers in. Beach is usually too packed. Kids flying around on golf carts and side by sides almost causing accidents. Noisy people partying all night. No tranquility nor privacy. Cant enjoy any of the activities we use to because of overcrowding. Paying way too much money for something we dont get to enjoy anymore. They are catering to the rich and once they get your money, they dont care. Been waiting 4 years for services promised and never rendered. This is our last summer there.

Awesome time! We stayed in cabin K2 and it was great! Hosts were very accommodating and we caught a ton of fish right off our very own dock! Caught a huge largemouth bass over 15 inches on the last day we were there. Recommend

What a great place to have a family vacation. The owners were so helpful and kind. There is so much to do from fishing to swimming and the accommodations were clean. We will be back!

Great family destination if you like the outdoors. Plenty of fishing from shore or boat. Boat rentals available. Tons of trails to be outside. Horses and chickens too! Rentals have private docs to fish from, we were next to catch and release pond, kids had too much fun! Definitely on our next destination list again.

Beautiful, well maintained place. I wish they had a bigger Pavillion near front gate, for events. The smaller one is so small and during the fish fry the restrooms reeked of fish. Seems like people are on top of each other some sites. Would have like a little more privacy. Everyone who works there are wonderful and polite. For such a large place it is very clean. They prob need another dumpster area. Also for as large as it is, it is very quiet. They do a good job!!!

Great place for family fun (swim beach, kayaking, fishing, etc.)! The Hermans are welcoming and have done a great job with the property.

Very helpful! Nice size sites. We asked about picnic tables & almost immediately had them at all of our sites! The lakes are beautiful & definitely have fish! Coming back next weekend too!! Could use some fire pits but otherwise no complaints

I fished these for two days, stayed in a rental cabin one night. Guided fishing the first day, rented a boat the second. So you can say we tried out about everything they had to offer. BEST fishing trip we have EVER had. The guide and people that run the place are outstanding and treated us like family. The fish we caught where really something to brag about. We didnt want to leave! Highly suggest this to everyone!

Jackie at Triple D was awesome! I would have given them 1 start had it not been for her. My stay here was a disaster from the time I arrived at the front gate. I had this place on my radar for quite sometime but it was nowhere near enjoyable staying there. So disappointed.

To expensive for what they offer. Money hungry family. Sorry. But the truth.

Everyone is polite and very friendly.I spent my summers here with my kids and wife and couldnt ask for a better escape from the city. lots of events to take the kids to and plenty to do for adults. tails for utvs and alot of lakes to test your skills. theres alot of nice size fish here and beautiful landscape.I am thankful for what the Germans have created

Awesome place - great escape for the whole family!

Paid $300 for a deluxe cabin (1 night)and a pontoon boat rental (one day) at a benefit fundraiser. Got to our cabin and sliding door would not lock. We then went to get our pontoon boat to go out on the lake. Another person was in the office and she said that we should go out early morning that it was very peaceful. The lady that was working in the office goes shhhh to her. She didnt want us to go out in the morning evidently. They took it to the lake for us. We then had the girl in the office show us where it was at. What a joke this pontoon boat was. No safety vests, one paddle an extra battery and a wrench laying there. Empty water bottles and trash all over what they call a pontoon boat. Got about 150 yards and boat started acting up. Changed battery and was able to go just a little bit farther. 2nd battery dyeing. Stuck out in the middle of the lake. Called the office. When they finally answered she said that she would send someone out, and then proceeded to say that someone who works there took it out the day before without permission and ran the batteries down. She then said if she cant reach anyone she would call us back???? With the one paddle and messing with the boat we were finally able to get back to the dock. We started up the road and along comes who we believe was the owner. His response was we have another battery and that they should not be putting that boat on that specific lake. We then go to make coffee the next morning and coffee carafe was broken where you pour the coffee. We told another lady that was working in the office about everything and her reply to every complaint was okay. Even when we said that we was wring a review and it wouldnt be good she responded OKAY. Needless to say we will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. POOR SERVICE
