This place is the best kept secret I know. Very clean, friendly staff and awesome food. The place is great! They have live music once in a while and we went to go see Colin John play. It was a perfect experience, also not a very well known place. Give it a try and if you arent satisfied then you are not living.

Total mixed feelings...I visited this place twice in one weekend. The first night was also my first time ever being inside of this establishment. I must say, I was immediately impressed. (Maybe more so surprised) Very, very nice, clean, and altogether laid back atmosphere. Band - Burpo and The Boys was GREAT!Upon reading the menu, I was extremely excited to order because everything looked delicious. The waitress also highly praised the food. We ordered crab cakes, lamb chop tenderloins, and honey fried chicken. The lamb was charred (to put it nicely), but had good flavor. Although VERY tasty - there didnt seem to be a honey element to the chicken at all. Crab cakes were flaky, but tasty. I asked for a remoulade, or something to dip or eat with them. DENIED!The second night we were there, my husband & I ordered a T-Bone steak (medium well)...it was overcooked and dry. When we asked for A1 or any other steak sauce...DENIED! The other couple we were with werent pleased with their (frozen/microwaveable) mashed potatoes, or their t-bone & prime rib. The owner(or manager)/cook did come over to ask us how our food was. When we answered with honesty...he was very rude and basically scolded us for ordering the steak Medium Well. After he said what he had to say, he very rudely shuffled away, while I was still talking. That interaction left the worse taste in my mouth.I may go in for a drink again, but Ill be sure to eat first...

The owner and staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Delicious food, tasty drinks, and lively musicians. It is a safe and clean venue for sure. I strongly recommend this place to any hungry, thirsty, and music loving individual!

I have been to Passion Blues a few times. I love the relaxing environment. It is a great place to relax and listen to blues or jazz. I have taken coworkers from work/friends and they enjoyed themselves as much as I have. The steak is amazing. Even if you are looking for something as an appetizer and a few drinks, a couple of hours away from everyday life, this is an awesome choice. Closest establishment I can find in comparison to the Firehouse Blues in Indiana!

Neat place. Came for the live music. Was charged an entrance fee, which to me was weird but it was only 2 dollars. Didnt have the liquor to make the drink I wanted so I settled for a hard soda which was $5. Not impressed with the prices but the venue is neat and the band was awesome.

Love this place! I cant believe more people in Stark County do not take advantage of the live music here! It is clean very cool decor only $2 admission with a dance floor and inexpensive drinks. Have never failed to have a great evening here!

Great food and entertainment

Enjoyed dinner and music at Passion Blues on Friday. The environment was very nice, clean, comfortable, comfortable with good acoustics and sound system. Food was fine, staff was very attentive. Felt safe and secure. The band was Jeff Poulos Revue. They were excellent. Made up of four quality musicians that played really well together. Surprisingly good voices. Several couples were dancing, some people sat back and just enjoyed the music. Overall great night in downtown Canton.

Nice place good atmosphere, was a little worried about location but it was very nice and food n service was great. We will be back again! Owner JD came out and sat down to just be sure everything was good and went a expected. Stop in its a great experience

This is a little gem and little Old Canton Ohio!!! Found it on Google and it turned out to be one of the coolest Blues bars Ive been to in the area. Everybody there was friendly management went out of their way to make you comfortable so she when they found out I was from out of town! Did not eat there but the food smelled and looked delicious with generous portions and you cant beat the cost of the beers and drinks. The security there is like a private club... they have to buzz you in....but dont let that scare you ...nothing inside is scary for sure!

Great staff and break food

Its hard to rate this because our food took a while, but it was really good once it came out. I wont be harsh on the rating because it was euchre night (we were the only table eating).It may be out of your way, but its worth it!

Great music, food & hospitality!

June 24, 2016There was an interesting band, but the food was horrible! My friend paid &17.00 for two crab cakes that was falling apart. There were no sides, such as a salad, not even a dinner roll. The cakes were greasy and there was no sauce, not even cocktail sauce to put on the crab cakes. They also were falling apart, due to the lack of eggs and flour mixture to bind the cakes together. The owner doesnt like to work with anyone and doesnt care about the paying customers. I feel this place is a joke and should be closed down! We need better representation in Stark County if were to build our city and its downtown dining. Take it from a woman whose family were professional cooks and whose father owned and operated a seafood market all my life until his death. Bad, bad, bad! Do not go here ever!
