A great place to belong.

This is a great place to learn how to sail and then advance to racing. The food is also very good. CYC is definitely worth 5 stars. I have been going there since I was born and participated in the sailing camp in the summer and that is where I really learned to sail and sail good.

We love being members of this amazing club.It has so much to offer from sailing and racing to just general water fun for the whole family. Our family enjoys camping and spending relaxing evenings with fellow members around the campfire. Our kids love the family atmosphere and enjoy the social events as well. We have happy hours with entertainment followed by a great meal in our beautiful dining room. If you are just dropping in the bar menu is perfect for sandwiches and salads.This club is the best kept secret of Canandaigua lake..We love it!

Great location on one of the highest property priced lakes in the U.S. -- rose bush lined path climbs the wide sloping lawn to a regal once-private historic residence with multi-tiered indoor / outdoor deck, large dining rooms, casual dining area, private party space, full service bar, locker rooms, kids play room, a lakeside pavilion and all you could want for boating, swimming, canoeing, sailing and yacht racing.Swimming pool-like crystal clear waters (thank you, I guess, zebra mussels). Relaxing sunset-colored views looking eastwards across the lake.Private Members-Only Club. Even if you dont own a boat, this club is worth the price if youre local and just want an awesome place to frequently hang out and enjoy a high-quality but mid-to-low priced bill of fare.

A great place to enjoy Canandaigua Lake. Sailing, Sailing lessons, Swimming, Camping, Dining with friends, Parties, Music, a full restaurant and bar, and a place to keep your boat. What is not to like?
