Lively video game and gastropub combination. Plenty of communal tables with stacks of board games on them. Pinball machines and electronic video games. A great place to bring your family for an evening or possibly a birthday party. Bar serves a large selection of cocktails, beer and wine with some drinks available in a larger size called a LVL Up. kids are welcome until 9:00 p.m., then the clientele goes to strictly 21 and up.

Went there for a company trip. Has quite the plethora of games to choose from. Area 51 being one of my favorites. They have a lot of pinball machines. A well kept clean area. The cabinets are in very fine condition and not run down looking. I enjoyed it greatly. Tables were clean. Bathrooms were clean. They have a nice chill atmosphere.

Awesome addition to Downtown Campbell. I’ve spent many hours (and quarters) at this place. My co-worker and I used to spend hours here on Fridays, playing arcade games, board games, and eating some of the food.I’ve heard some people complain about the food but, honestly, I’ve yet to find an arcade that offers this type of fare. Personally I’m fond of the Chicken Bacon Ranch Avocado Sliders. Another huge plus for this place, they have decent vegan and gluten-free options. All in all I hope this place continues to thrive for years. My only real complaint is about the space. But I tend to go in when it’s not crowded so no big deal. Also with noting, I’ve never had a bad experience with the staff. They’ve always friendly and courteous towards me and my friends.

A super fun addition to downtown Campbell. We stopped in during happy hour, the drink specials were a deal and the service was excellent. I expected the prices of the games to be jacked up but they were all mostly a quarter to a dollar - and the Centipede game is free! They also have a huge selection of board games you can play. We only stopped in for a bit but Im looking forward to going back again soon. We didnt have food but it looked like they have some good options on the menu.

A neat little space that really crams in the entertainment. A surprising amount of kids under 10 on a Friday night considering it is a gastropub and group bar crawls has started. Families cleared out closer to 8 however. The staff is friendly and actively takes care of the space. Seating is a little weird in some spots but it still feels homey. Food is a bit expensive but a nice treat. A nice variety of games that the prices arent jacked up on. I hope the variety on tap grows and a cider option is offered in the future. I can definitely see this being an after work hangout.

The moment I walked in and saw the glowing lights of pinball machines and arcade games, the cute BB-8 balloon, the arcade Mario-style paint decor, and board games on the tables I knew I was in the right place. Truly a level up from your typical gastropub! You pick up a menu, stroll up to order at the bar and either leave your tab open or close it out. They have various seasonal foods and sophisticated takes on bar fare, along with nerdy cocktails. Take your number, have a seat, maybe play some games while you wait. They serve all food on sustainable plates, and you grab your own silverware, water, and napkins. Bus yourself or wait for them to come by. Your choice! If you didnt bring change, dont fret! They have machines that will gladly take your bills for your enjoyment.Im not much of a pinball or arcade fan but for some reason I especially enjoyed getting out of my comfort zone in the fun, bustling environment here. They even had classics like Tron and Pac-Man, along with more up-to-date arcade games that play 10. My best scores were on their Lord of the Rings game... #forgondorNo complaints here, linger or eat and run, your choice.

What a great concept! If youre an 80s fan, this place is totally for you. Theyve got 80s music AND video games to boot. The food menu has a nice array of healthy and not-so-healthy (yet yummy) eats. The cocktail menu is fun and creative; I especially like the one that tastes like Christmas in your mouth. Both adults and kids can have a good time here so its ideal for families. They also have board games, pinball machines, and a Trivia Night, as well as football viewing on Sundays. A fresh addition to the Campbell community and a choice spot for group events, like office parties. The owners are cool and easy to work with. When you go to LvlUp, youre supporting a small business.

Went here while traveling for work, expecting to have a good time. We ordered drinks, and food later. We were told that we could split the check at the end, however the bartender that closed our tab tried to refuse splitting it (saying the system didnt support it) and then said he couldnt do it because we only opened our tab with one card. He finally did it, but not before talking down to us about the logistics of their point of sale system. In addition to having horrible service while trying to pay, we sat at an empty bar with empty drinks for 30 minutes out of the hour we were there. There are 10+ better options on this street. Pick any of them.

4.5Ive been hitting this place up at least once a week for the last 8 weeks to burn off some tension. I have not found a better place for pinball. Board games galore and healthy choices on the menu. Drinks are also impressive for a place such as this. For having a mix bag of disciplines LVL Up does a great job.The mens bathroom could be made to accommodate more than one person. When you are playing games I find it difficult to find a satisfactory place to put your beer. They have little tables between the pinball games and little stand up tables - but I find both options a little cumbersome. These are trivial things, but the reason I dont give it 5 stars.

I went in to the soft opening on Saturday with my family. The extensive selection of games were in good to great repair with only a sloppy joystick on Simpsons and a bad flipper on one of the pinball games that the manager assured would be repaired promptly. Food was scrumptious and the house cocktails were tasty and strong, my favorite being the “Pong”. The service was on point with a friendly staff and the facilities clean and tidy. The arrangement of the seating and tables needs to be adjusted to improve traffic and comfort for playing the games, and all told the experience was enjoyable.

I was a big fan of the previous AFK lounge. Same owners. The only reason they moved was because the lease was up and the mayor wanted to build a bowling alley instead.Currently, their new setup is nice. Still missing a few things, but definitely has the vibe they want. Theyre not even done settling in yet, but already makes me want to go back. Normally service is great at the bar. Tonight, a guy took our drink order and forgot about us! He continued taking other orders... and serving them while not filling our drink order. Finally 10 minutes later we were able to get his attention and get our drinks. Shortly after, he disappeared leaving this girl alone behind the bar who ignored everyone except some guys sitting at the end near the door. Never checked on any one else! At times, the bar wasnt even that busy, so thats not an excuse/reason either. We were going to order appetizers, but couldnt get her attention. Later two people sat down next to us and she finally took their order and we asked for our check. She brought it over and I told we were going to order food, but were going to go somewhere else now. She mumbled something, but we couldnt understand her. We have never had such horrible service. I tried telling hubby $3 tip was way too much, should be $0, but he wouldnt listen. What happened to the service???

The food is consistently WACK, which is a shame. I come here for their amazing selection of pinball machines but what’s up with the lighting?Fine tune the atmosphere, revamp the food menu and add some different beer and this place will be 5 stars all the way.Sidenote: my personal opinion is that 80’s themed arcade bars DON’T need to play 80’s music..

Its a (b)arcade! Relive your youth and show your kids that you were actually decent and old school video games. They have a killer queen which is a ten player joust like versus game. Lots of board games to play. Four player pacman is good fun. (volume needs to be fixed on that game)Pinball is on the pricy side of $1 per game. I think they would make more money if it was lowered to 50¢ per game.Food is in the fancier side. Id prefer to see arcade food like nachos. Music is good.I hope this plays makes it and is there for a long time.

This place is great to have a drink and play games with friends while the kids go run off and drop quarters into the arcade machine when they give up playing old timey board games that adults love having a laugh at playing bringing back old house rules from their childhood. 20 bucks and you are child free for an hour or so easily while also having time for a drink with friends. Can be a bit loud but given it is full of people from ages of 10 to 50 and arcade machines going off all around you, it is kind of expected.

Place was OK. If you go there expecting to walk into the next AFK youre in for a shock.I gave it 3 starts because:* - Its clean and well lit* - Its not super loud and you can actually have a conversation with people in there* - The staff was really niceHowever, the beer selection isnt the best (Im not an IPA fan, but I did see a few) and there really isnt that great if a game selection, which lead me to not playing of the games the had on the walls. We did play the wooden box game with the metal ball. Also, I think it takes quarters to play the games and most are really outdated - at least to me, Im used to Nickel City. They close at 12am, like most of the new spots in down town Campbell.Id go back again, just to hang out.

Everything we needed their assistance with for a birthday party, they had prepared or had already done it for us before we even had to ask. We never had to ask for refills on soda pitchers, they had already refilled them; we started to cut the cake, they had already brought out forks; we walked up with a $10 and before we even had to ask for quarters, they were already turning around to grab them out of the register.
