Beautiful wedding venue. The event coordinators Barbie and Tanna are lovely individuals who facilitated a seamless event. As a bridesmaid and somewhat wedding planner they helped ensure that the bridal party enjoyed themselves instead of hovering over tasks that needed to be done. I highly recommend this venue and I strongly believe that the staff here are absolutely gems.

Barbie, the Wedding Coordinator, was FABULOUS! She was patient with the couple, the attendants, the guests— and me, the Officiant! Note: when looking for this location using GPS, put in the Campbell Library! Ainsley House and the Library share a parking lot and it’s much easier to find!

What a great place to visit and learn about the Campbell area.So much rich history about this house and Mr.and Mrs Ainsley. The architecture of this house is surreal. I mean everything was well thought out. The material they used to build the house (For-geeet-ah-bout-it) was California Oak..good luck finding that now days.At over 6 thousands Sq. Feet with a full breath and with walk in basement and attic, walk in shower with beautiful wall to wall green tile and 5 COUNT THEM 5 SHOWER HEADS! And for Mrs. Ainsley a wall to wall bathroom with lavender tile simply outstanding.A still functional electric stove and oven from the 1920s as well as a refrigerator one of the first probably in the United States. All the furniture in the house are the originals mr. Ainsleys daughter still visits every now and again and must be in her 90s.I could write a book on this place. The tour takes about 2 hours and is well worth the price of admission. The volunteer dosans also get 5 stars they answer all your questions and were just fantastic.People book mark this place and go!!

English Tudor Cotswold cottage style... alrighty then. It has a few features of a Tudor Cotswold cottage but thats it. Ignoring the modern finishings (double glazing etc) its not even the right colour. Google Tudor Cottage UK and youll get the idea.

I highly encourage everyone to come see this landmark. Its so very rich in history and the architecture is unique and breathtaking. They hold weddings here as well. The woman that gave us the tour was well into her 80s and such a spry and knowledgeable woman. She made an otherwise lovely tour of the house come alive. If for nothing else just to marvel at the craftsmanship of the roof. Its beautiful. You can also take a short walk across the street to the Campbell museum. Its great for kids because its all hands on. Its so inexpensive for both. Pocket change really.

Love the free summer concerts every Thursday evening throughout the summer. Family friendly concerts with plenty of activities. Arrive early because there is always a big crowd. Bring camp chairs, a picnic dinner and a bottle of wine and enjoy a couple hours of music with plenty of room for dancing

The Ainsley House and Campbell Historical Museum present an inspiring opportunity to view and learn not just about a unique window in time, but about the history of a local farming family who contributed great things to the Campbell Community as well as to the history of the Valley of Hearts Delight and our transition from farming to high tech.Staffed by volunteers and City of Campbell employees alike, the dedicated team of History Specialists, management, docents and other support staff work diligently to support the community of Campbell and beyond. From fundraising to bussing elementary school children in from all over the valley to learn about the history of Santa Clara County, to Holiday Teas, intimate Sunday afternoon concerts on the lawn, Murder Mysterys, History Happy Hour, Readings, Tours and so many more functions, to say that the Ainsley House is a rare treasure would be a great understatement.Highly recommend a tour, joining as a member and discovering all the many social events, educational opportunities and volunteerism available to all who are interested. Theres always something going on, youre sure to enjoy rewarding yourself with a great expereince.
