We went during the weekend before Halloween. We went to the buffet, but of course there was no buffet because of the Wuhan, so we sat down and ordered diner style food. It was okay. The ribs had a whole bunch of sauce on it, which made it way too sweet. The chicken tenders were overly breaded, and my kid didnt really care for it either. But the service was amazing and they are really nice over there. So it balanced out where the food was just okay and the service was awesome!

I have no words to describe how wonderful this place is! When I used to live in sedona, my ex-wife and I would come out here a lot and play, but they had kind of a funky motel down by the road, well now theyve built a brand new hotel, and Im telling you what, these people have knocked it out of the park! The moneys right, the amenities are unbelievable, the room was super clean, and all of the staff is above and beyond! I only travel a few thousand miles a year nowadays, and by far this is one of the best hotels Ive stayed at! And the views, you wont believe!

Went for a day trip, won a little money, came home. Nice, not crowded. Both social distancing and mask wearing strictly enforced. Would not hesitate to visit again.

My girlfriend and I decided to stop on our way home from Sedona. I always win at the tables and she does pretty well at the slot machines. We werent able to try the buffet because of Covid, but the food we had was still good! We were on our way home to Phoenix but had a little too much to drink so we decided to stay. The room was amazing and clean. We will be back in the future!

I liked going up there with my friend but would go more often if they had a bus from Phoenix. My favorite machine, which i cant play in any other casino, was shut down - i wish they had shut down the ones on either side of it. I didnt win but did enjoy that they had an indoor smoking area. Liked that they had lots of penny slots.

Place was stuffy and smokey. Casino floor and the restrooms were very clean. Kudos to your housekeeping staff. I played for a few hours and all the machines I played didnt give me a bonus game. But, I enjoyed playing the various slot games you have regardless. Beverage service wasnt good. And, when I found a beverage server they werent very nice. Like your food court area. Good eats! Gift shop was nice. The person working their was friendly and helpful. I bought some gifts for my family back home. Cashiers were nice and welcoming too. But, I didnt see any security asking people to pull up or wear their masks who were getting loud from drinking alcohol. Good that you are at least doing temperature checks at the door though. But your casino should do more to insure customer health and safety.

I went to take my family to dinner at Johnny rockets after a football my boys played in Cottonwood. The food was great, the service was a bit long only because we were there late plus the safety measures to get into the casino was awesome!! They have a temperature scanner at the front door and sticker markers where to stand 6 ft away from each other. It was very quick for my family to get in at the time which was about 7:30pm on a Saturday night.

Non- smoking, 6 ft distance, masks, bowling, slots. No buffet, no 4 star menu. High Hotel rates considering..

The Lodge was a bit of a disappointment as we though we were staying in the hotel. Oh well. The outside is not too inviting. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The room was bare bones. No refrigerator or microwave. Coffee maker but no sugar or sweetener. Shower had very low pressure and the shower head barely gave a buff of water. The hot side was cold and cold side hot, thought there was not hot water at first. No coffee or anything in the lobby, you have to go up to the main hotel for ANYTHING. The Lodge needs a facelift.

Cliff Castle Casino Is fun for my family. We just celebrated my granddaughter birthday, we bolling and enjoying the Casino with friends and family. It was a blast! We truly enjoyed ourselves.

Positive: The swimming pool and how they maintain their cleanliness throughout the whole building through the casino to arcade due to the procedure of the pandemic.

We had a great stay. Our room was clean, there was social distance gaming and dining. The bed was very comfortable. The food here is just tasty.

Very nice rooms. Very friendly staff. We had to park in the lower parking lot due to size of vehicle and had a heck of a time finding our way to the hotel/ casino. There are no paths whatsoever. When I finally called the hotel (after walking from 1 end of lit to the other with no result) , he transferred me to the shuttle which did not answer. I left a message and never got a reply. We ended up walking up on the road, and its a long walk. DEFINITELY need to put some paths in

Love Cliff Castle for a night to unwind. Casual atmosphere. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Firm beds. Buffet is hit or miss, but only because of the pandemic I think. The last time I ate there it was pretty good. Not so much so this last visit. The pool and jacuzzi are nice, but often have loud children running amok producing an incredibly distracting echo....but if you can wait it put, I find most people head off to bed about 930ish and pool is open till 11. All and all I enjoying staying here several times a year. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed myself the music has been changed and the people I was with really enjoyed it we stayed 3 hours longer than normal just listening to the music and having fun thank you Cliff Castle casino for changing the music that you had a few months ago.

I decided to drive up from Phoenix to Cliff Castle Casino this past weekend. I brought my mom since it was her 67th birthday along with 3 of her siblings. This place is pretty top notch for being in a small town. It was nice to see them taking all cautionary steps with covid-19. Our temps were taken at the door and you could see people constantly cleaning the slot machines and the entire facility. They had a kids area that was very secure, should you want to bring the entire entire family for a little get away. They had great eating options along with places to get drinks. The grounds were nicely kept and security made the place feel safe. Well be back in the future.

Nice. Fun stop between Falstaff and Phoenix. Easy on easy off freeway. Plus cheap gas right next door.

I love this place !!! Down to my last $10 and hit it for $355 , spun 2 more times and hit it for another $200 !! I dont get here as often as I would like,but when I do,I usually win.

Staff was phenomenal and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The bed was better than my bed at home, shower was just right with choice of rain forest or standard shower heads. Towels were abundant (and not just the tiny hand towels). Room was spotless. Food was really good.

Absolutely outstanding experience and well worth every penny spent. If youre able to, try the king suite. I can not say enough great things. From beginning to end, it was purely divine. The room was over 800 square feet with a full living room, two bathrooms, dining room, wet bar, master bedroom with private bathroom to include a beautiful walk in shower and gorgeous bathroom which had a his and her sinks. My review does not do it justice. I highly recommend this hotel. Its pure relaxation and luxury. Dont pass this up. The best and most luxurious hotel/resort you could possibly find in northern az.

As part of their promotion I was given a free night in the hotel which was great because I was totally exhausted so when I went to check in they required a credit or debit card no cash for incidentals which I did not have and they would not budge on working with me as much money as I spend at that casino I cant believe that they would not help me with this then they would not cash a check either so I was not happy with them tonight

Not trucker friendly. Hadnto park in a dirt lot a 14 mile away. And added a resort fee of 20 for free parking. Room was clean tho.

Waited for several hours Friday and Saturday night to get a seat at a blackjack tables and they arent open the same hours as the Casino. The advertising on certain websites makes it seem like Lodge guests have access to the same amenities the Hotel guests have like the indoor pool or discounted breakfast buffet. So be aware that if you are staying at the Lodge that is the motel down the hill from the Hotel and Casino. We couldnt upgrade our Lodge room to one in the Hotel despite availability. Drinks arent free even when playing at a table after I finally got a seat and the single cart around most of the time didnt find us except once every 30 minutes. I am completely confident I would have lost way more of my money if I had been plied with free and frequent alcohol. The buffet and service were on point for what is going on with the pandemic.

My sister in law paid for the rooms so the family could have a nice weekend, first off we were told that we would have room service, a stocked mini fridge and bowling and the buffet. First off let me say the rooms were pretty but not for the price she paid 1. It was WAY OVER PRICED, 2. The staff acted as if it was the end of the world when you asked them to do their jobs such as Bring up coffee because the rooms had NONE. There was NO Buffet. So when we get there to check in they quoted her one thing and CHARGED way more than they quoted, we got there and we are told AT THE FRONT DESK you only need to wear a mask when youre walking from place to place, you dont need them to bowel, gamble, eat, swim, or drink ok so basically just when were migrating; THE WHOLE TIME REGARDLESS ONLY WHEN WE WERE EATING WAS WHEN WE WERENT YELLED AT! Not to mention any other place abides by HIPPA Laws THEY DONT guess they dont care about a law suit??? Honestly THE ABSOLUTE WORST STAY IVE EVER HAD IN A HOTEL AND CASINO

The lodge was clean and comfy, not very fancy. Tv remote was broken. There was an in room fridge and microwave. There was a free shuttle to the casino as well.

The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. What really impressed me was my son scraped his knee in the parking lot and the manager was nice enough to give him some band-aids

This is a pretty nice hotel and Casino. They were very prudent with safety following covid guidelines. The hotel room was really nice.

Our stay in the executive suite was very accommodating and pleasant. The staff was all smiles and very helpful. I absolutely loved the kid quest where kids can play while you enjoy yourself in the Casino. They offer snacks, food, drinks, and a great time with a variety of play. I couldnt believe my daughter wanted to stay longer every time I checked on her. The slots had a good variety, Im glad they had a non-smoking section. Overall I would definitely return if Im ever in town.

I made reservation at the lodge was closed and the moved me over and added a resort fee of 20.00 extra, they do not clean room daily unless you request which they are suppose to tell you up front and our tv keeps losing signal nothing resortful about this place I wish I stayed at holiday inn.

For the area this place is the top Hotel, very Ritz, staff is friendly and place is well kept.They have casino, play area for young ones over 3yrs old, arcade and bowling. they have four different restaurants to eat from and two bars. Swimming pool and garage parking. Valet is a free service for staying at the hotel and there is a bellhop for your bags. No complimentary breakfast but you get 1/2 off ticket before 11am.The room comes with a fridge, coffee maker, TV and hair dryer. Showers have two shower heads. Plenty of lighting in room, plus a pretty view of town/mountains.Recommendation is too book two days minimum to enjoy ammenties and get the Casino card from the clubhouse before they close at a certain time on first day.Definitely will come here again.

I didnt stay but played some slots machines it was fun atmosphere.I wish if they had better services to have drinks while gambling.

Had a wonderful time w my Son n His GF bowling at Shake Rattle n Bowl. Afterwards I went on to gamble. Came out a winner. Great evening.

Friendly staff, clean room BUT this was the worst, hardest, most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept (or rather not been able to sleep in!) in my entire life. My husband and I actually looked under the fitted sheets to make sure it was an actual mattress and not just a box spring. If you cant sleep on a cement floor, dont expect to sleep in the hotel beds. I rarely write reviews but would have appreciated a heads up as I would likely not have booked a $199 room knowing I would get zero minutes of sleep and would have an aching body all day the next day (husband too!). We had friends stay at the same time and they also thought the bed was awful and rock hard. Beautiful hotel, but they sure skimped on the beds!

This hotel was a great stay. My wife and I are on our honey moon and we were treated like kings and queens here. Arturo was incredible. The lady at the front desk was also helpful. The tv had a small issue, but immediately they came to the rescue and even offered a complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. Great time. We will be back, maybe for our 1 year anniversary.

My wife and I went there for breakfast. The food was really good and the people that worked there were very friendly and helpful. You cant find a better place to eat for the price.

For one thing their buffet staff. Stood in for 20 minutes watching people before us be seated. When I got to check in I was told they were closing. Mind you they just let 5 couples in. Made me feel like I was denied because of the color of my skin.

Positive: The staff was wonderful. The security team is very stoic and reminds me of the Queens royal guard but it is possible to make them laugh if you try hard enough. Negative: No bathtub.

We got the Romance Package and we loved Storytellers! I have a soy allergy and Storytellers food was amazing! I got the fillet steak, mashed potatoes and veggies. 95% of their food is soy free. On top of that Cliff Castle Casino called me a week before asking if anyone had a food allergy. I thought that was amazing! Thank you Cliff Castle! I highly recommend staying at Cliff Castle Casino! Fun games, bowling alley, beautiful suite and food allergy accommodating.

Love the casino but buffet was worse than old folks resthome food. Not a big selection plus food was bland not cheap either. Johnny rockets good but very expensive

This is one of the best casinos on the entire West coast which I toured last year. The staff is wonderful the accommodations are comfortable and the games pay.

Disappointed with the disability access room. It was spacious enough for wheel chair access, however we were expecting it to be more handicap accessible. The toilet had no hand rails for assistance. The beds were rather high for handicap/elderly people, I didnt have anything to measure with but I felt they were between 30 - 32 inches high, at home ours is 22 inches. They did offer a step stool to use but due to my mothers disabilities she felt unsafe to use it. I feel there needs to be better room descriptions for handicap/ disability rooms. Needless to say my mother tried to sleep in the chair that was in room but to no avail. Then upon leaving that morning the water in sink was but a thin line trickle, glad we took our shower the night before. For our experience it wasnt the best, but for others it would probably be fine.

Decided to go for the night called got 2 rooms drove 2 hours to get there wound up paying another 60 on top of what we were told so total 460 for the night told there was a prime rib buffet wasnt they closed early ended up eating at Johnny rockets messed up our order several times finally ate what we got drinks were regular price but ran out of regular cups so got half a drink in smaller cups but paid reg price had to wait 1 and half hours to bowl which wasnt a big deal but the staff in all departments were rude asked for water and extra coffee for room never showed until called again at 11 in the evening finally got a response over all for the money tweet put out was nothing special find different motel and something to do much better use of time

Beautiful place..friendly staff..nice atmosphere..we got 1/2 off breakfast for booking the room ..the buffet bfast was only $8 and we got it 2 for 1!!! Yummy food everything from biscuits.gravy to pancakes.eggs..def recommend! The games are a great selection..bowling alley as well as a kid quest..I added photo of my birthday pie from hubby!!!

~We had fun bowling! Every other lane open to comply to social distancing. Everyone required masks. ~Discovered an award winning gem of fine cuisine, in my opinion, at Storytellers Restaurant. From wonderful hospitality with Manager Gary, to warm and attentive service from Ito. The fresh calamari and chefs special aioli sauce was the best yet. Scallop perfection with garlic mashed potato was the best for me. Son loved his petite filet mignon and prawn. We are eager to return and try other meals offered on the menu. Ambience warm and intimate. Great for special celebrations. Best to call in reservation. It was a great day spent !

A lot nicer than I expected. Ive been in a few of the casinos in Arizona and its always a let down if youve ever been to Vegas. This one doesnt hold a candle to a Vegas hotel but it is one of the nicest ones Ive been to in Arizona. Its not huge but its nice. Have fun and good luck!

They dont give free alcoholic drinks if you are playing, only sodas. Very different from Las Vegas casinos.

We stayed down the hill at the lodge which is part of casino and hotel. Lobby was nice... Rooms were very out dated. Stains on the carpet, no fridge or microwave. My balcony door didnt lock, and there was a wasp nest in the corner of the door frame. They did come and take care of both right away. The bed was comfortable. The rooms were not worth the price paid. We did get buffet vouchers through booking, and the buffet at the casino was very good.

First off I’m from Texas and one of the people there said I needed a Arizona ID to drink, very False claim then we where accused of smoking then got completely searched and nothing was found.. They then kicked us out even while intoxicated from drinking and made us go to another hotel at 3am¿ worse place ever to go!! Just go somewhere els that actually cares about there customer and not money.

The facility was really nice, the staff, however, were not. Starting with the Mountain Springs Buffet, talk about over priced for unseasoned and can tasting food. The only great experience with the buffet was a waitress named Dora, she was attentive and professional.As for the stay, guests were really noisy and obnoxious all night and morning. No respect!Waking up, excited to get a cup of coffee, and the keurig machine was broken. How dissatisfying!Checking out, I reassured the front desk of my experience and no help was offered to resolve any issues, nor a manager was brought up.To conclude my experience, walking out of the building, me and my fiancé were stared down by one of the staff members and we were not thanked for our stay and were sized up. Horrible! I will not be returning!I will be making several calls!

Was wearing mask entire visit, but this one host on the floor kept harassing me. Saw multiple people not wearing masks or pulled down below their chin, I pulled my mask down below my nose to get a breath of air, nobody even around as I was leaving and this lady chased me down to tell me to cover my nose, followed by telling security that I wasnt in compliance and not to let me reenter... If youre going to enforce the rules why dont you start with the people who are blatantly disobeying them, unless you just wanted to start a confrontation with me. First and last visit.

It was enjoyable to a points. It got annoying with the attendance always telling me to put my mask on other than that it was all right machines do not win like they used to but Ill keep going.
