Amazing productions of fantastic shows. Haven’t seen a bad thing there. Very creative and innovative, moving pieces of theater. Many broadway hits have roots to this place. Highly recommend!!

It was an amazing experience in a theater that adapted to the show in an amazing way. I would definitely recommend watching shows here, and I also give the show I saw (Moby Dick) 5 stars.

Quaint and neighborhood like theater/stage. Can buy tickets at box office or come in with a print out. Seating is standard with decent leg room and view of the stage. Not too big of a stage, with decent mingling area beforehand

Great venue, not a bad seat in the house. Did standing room tickets for the first time this week and that was awesome too. Stage dooring here is awesome as well. Met the whole cast of Jagged Little Pill!

The A.R.T. is an award-winning theater and the most prominent in the greater Boston area for its plays. As it is housed on the campus of Harvard University and as it cooperates with the university on projects, the scope of the program is diverse and of a high caliber. The A.R.T. is a not-for-profit organization, so tickets are accessible to larger community, unlike Broadway. Despite this, the theater does bring in some big names and is in some ways a testing ground for Broadway. An adaption of _Porgy and Bess_ debuted here in 2011 before opening on Broadway in 2012, for example. In summary, it is a treasure for the community and we are fortunate to have it in our midst.

Saw The Black Clown on 9/9/18. Life-changing theatre experience. I wish everyone in New England could see this incredible play. Thanks cast and crew and ART for making this show possible.

The theater is beautiful and we really enjoyed the performance, Jagged Little Pill. There is no bad seat in the house and we were nearly in the last row. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was taken by surprise with the gender neutral restrooms since I didnt read the sign and just followed women in. Honestly, I felt uncomfortable sharing the restroom with men. Thank you for asking me for feedback.

I’m a bus driver that brought down a bus load of kids to watch the show at your theater. I parked my bus within a 100 feet from the entrance. I went in to use your restroom and was told it wasn’t open to the public”. So I asked the woman, “when the show starts and my group is in the building can I use the restroom. I was told, “ it was for patrons only.” Are you serious. I brought a group of kids on a bus to the theater and I’m not even considered a patron.I would of loved to see the show, but I’m obligated to keep an eye on the bus, and I park near where I’m at to be close to a bathroom.I heard the show was excellent considering I deal and see this situation everyday.

They have some really high quality performances that are Broadway bound. In recent years I saw Finding Neverland (awesome) and Waitress (meh although it had bright spots) for a fraction of the price of the Broadway tickets even though the cast was largely the same. The Great Comet was also very clever and fun.

My girlfriend, brother and I went to see your Donkey Show this past Saturday, October 7. We thought we were going to see a play, imagine our surprise when we walked in to a club-like scene with glitterboys and a dj blasting dance music (guilty of not reading the shows description). We quickly adjusted to the environment, grabbed drinks and joined the throbbing crowd. We were having a great time as the interpretative Midsummers Night Dream began to play out around us. Up until the donkey came out. We watched in disgust as the asss face and hand/arm expressions mocked those of a stereotypical mentally challenged person. Aghast, we looked on as the actor (seemingly) unabashedly, even pridefully, repeated the mannerisms multiple before we quickly left the show. Mocking others is not a form of entertainment. There is absolutely no excuse for ableism, as a venue and show who seeks to be inclusive (very supportive environment for LGBT+), you should take immediate action to rectify the situation.Edit (for clarification): When I say rectify, Im speaking of changing the part of the show where you mock people with disabilities

One star. The Crossing left me wondering how I could be so out of sync with the critics who rated this play highly. I recall leaving a movie theater only once, and this is the first play I have ever seem that I literally found physically and emotionally painful to sit through due to its utterly inane and annoying premise. The singing gave me a migraine. This play is a joke. It has absolutely no redeeming qualities. I feel scammed at the price I paid to see this rubbish.

Traditionally its been a great place over the 25 years Ive been coming here. Now it is slowly becoming a venue for pre-Broadway. Not saying thats bad. Just different.

A great venue, I saw Finding Neverland here when it was in previews. The quality of the show was at Broadway theater level and the price was still at local theater prices - $25 for an unblocked seat. They also had a play with Brian Cranston start out here - the ART theater seems like the hot spot for pre-broadway shows. Im definitely going to keep a closer eye on their shows in the future.
