Lovely field and environment for sporting events. Can be busy and full during high traffic times but overall only good times at Russell Field. Little turf nuggets are a pretty aggressive and can be tough to rid of. You’ll find em for days after but thats no reason to deduct stars on the rating. Cambridge public high school plays Football here on Fridays

A pretty nice place for sports, exercise, and chilling. There is 2 baseball fields, a football field, a swimming pool, and a kids playground.

I went there years ago to watch a little league baseball game. Its well lit. Plenty of seating such as bleachers. Nice big field!

A pool with a kiddie pool, 2 baseball fields and a football field with soccer field. Russell field has it all!! Great for the kids, dogs or just a quiet picnic.

Nice, big field near Alewife t station. The minuteman trailer goes right by. Also, there is a little playground and swimming pool next to it.

Only two complaints: the artificial turf comes off easily and sticks to everything (hellish to get out of sneakers), and theres usually a lot of trash under the bleachers. Otherwise, a great facility.

Awesome turf for our pickup games, if only there werent peewee teams using the field for its intended purpose, displacing our group on occasion :)

This is the best field i have seen for a HS team...but I do come from a small town in good ol Ohio!!!

Lots of action if a baseball or football game is going on or the pools open. Then that means icecream man may be near:)
