I just had an incredible experience at Hubba Hubba. I went in asked the woman for a advice and described my needs and situation. She went really above and beyond to get me what I need for my beginner level of needs. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

Come support this wonderful little shop! Hubba Hubba has been around for decades, and is one of the last remaining adult toys/clothing/shops in New England. Hubba has always been female owned, and now is under new female ownership due to the previous owner passing away. Wonderful things are happening here, from New Years Eve events to monthly brunch parties. Everyone who has any interest needs to come and support this business to keep the scene alive. They have everything from toys to clothing, shoes, small little gifts, lube for your latex, everything! I highly recommend Hubba Hubba if you live here or are coming for the weekend.

Id love to rate a 5 but they do not stock flavored lube. What!? The video selection is passable but they have moved away from VHS vids lately. A sad state of affairs.

Id love to rate them higher. But I have no idea what the store or staff is like! Waited an hour for them to open ! Call before you go if your going at 12. Waited till 12 55 and still no one!

Glad this place is still around, since I saw the other location was down I got a sad feeling - great shop, friendly staff, and all the good gears. Probably the only true kink-friendly store in the Boston area since eros shut down. Always nice to see stuff in person, instead of guessing sizes and quality etc online. Keep up the good work guys :)

Hubba Hubba is by far my favorite shop in Boston. Their Customer service is excellent, they have new outfits and toys all the time and they always have exactly what Im looking for.

I had an EXTREMELY negative experience at Hubba Hubba, mainly due to the unbelievably aggressive, poor customer service.I am an Asian woman, and upon entering the shop I saw some articles of Chinese clothing on their racks amongst the corsets and lingerie. I decided to ask the employee working why Hubba Hubba stocks Chinese clothing, and she immediately became extremely hostile and aggressive, rebutting with, What, are you offended? before condescending explaining to me that this is a vintage clothing store, we sell vintage clothing, an answer I found extremely disingenuous given that Hubba Hubba currently in the present day markets itself as an adult boutique and that the majority of patrons frequent the shop to buy sexual paraphernalia.I tried to explain my concerns in seeing these Chinese articles of clothing in the context of a sex shop, how hard it is to see clothing that looks just like the clothing my grandmother gave me stocked on the same racks as lingerie, latex fetish gear, fishnet body suits, etc. as if they all have the same purpose, especially when no other cultural clothing items are in stock except East Asian clothing, and the harmful, racist, and misogynistic stereotypes and fetishization of Asian women this perpetuates. The staff member was EXTREMELY unreceptive, defensive, and actively hostile in responding to everything I was saying, and when I saw it wasnt going anywhere and tried to politely excuse myself from the conversation, she kept needling and harassing me all the way until I had physically left the shop.If you are Asian (or if youre someone that cares at all about treating people of other races with respect and like actual people, instead of fetishizing them for profit), I implore you to take your business elsewhere instead of supporting the racist and misogynistic practices of this shop. I will be reaching out to all of the Asian communities and organizations in the Boston area to let them know that, in the event that they ever need to patronize an adult boutique, to not go to Hubba Hubba because it is an environment extremely hostile to Asians and their culture.Even if this matter in particular does not affect you, I still implore you to take your business elsewhere because you deserve to be treated with respect as a customer, and to feel safe and secure in bringing up any questions or concerns you have about the products, rather than feel like youre being aggressively attacked.
