Just grass and a nice walking track people are very friendly and clean up after there dogs.Just 1 comment if you see 2 ladies walking there 3 ozzys stay away those dogs are very mean and the ladies will say you shouldnt come close to us while we walk around the track. Which the track wraps around the whole park.

Great place to take your doggies! The park is well maintained: benches to sit on, water for the dogs, and baggies to pick up your pups poop.

It is a dog park, however they do have a few picnic tables if you want to stop quickly for lunch.

My dog loves it here! Love it that its fenced in and has 2 areas. Wish the smaller dog part had a bit more room--she has tons of energy and would love to run more.

Springville Dog Park is amazing! Its fenced in and has a separate area for small dogs. Everyone is respectful and understands if youre dog happens to misbehave, you need to take him out of the dog park. Fresh water and poop bags are readily available.

Nice open dog park, quite a bit of shade. Its refreshing to see a dog park that has a separate space for smaller dogs. Although mine is medium sized, I know some of the smaller dogs feel intimidated around the larger breeds.

Gorgeous park and very well maintained in a great neighborhood with a beautiful view over Camarillo. My daughter loved watching the airplanes from the airport. Theres two dog areas, all the owners we encountered were friendly and responsible. And you can tell this park is maintained by people who take pride in it.

Well maintained dog park off the springville exit. Lots of medium and big dogs around 6pm. The small dog side is almost unused. Friendly owners with well behaved pets.

I really love to attitude of this dog park. Nice owners who pay attention to their dogs. Its also the perfect size, big enough to run and roam, but youre never too far away from your dog if needed. Theres a smaller fenced off area for those more timid. I nice walking path surrounds the grass area within the park.

Love this dog park, its our favorite one in the area. Now reopened with social distancing. Closes occasionally so they can care for the grass.

The dog park on the hill! This is a great park. My dog always enjoys going and hanging out in the small dog area. There never seems to be any conflicts or uptight owners. I dont go in the big dog area much so I cant really speak to that, but theres plenty of space and the new walking trail around the park adds a nice feature so it doesnt get so muddy in there. You get unbelievable sunsets on the hillside too!

Its a very nice park. Sometimes too popular, sometimes the dogs can get too aggressive, not fighting, just too many surrounding your pet, just as you come in the gate. My Dog is a little shy, and is overwhelmed when met at the door by 4 or 5 other dogs before we can even get through the gate. Owners should be more respectful of other owners dogs. Just because their dog is friendly and wants to jump up in everyones face, doesnt mean everyone is willing to have your dog in their face. Springfield is a very nice park, today I just had a bad experience.

There is a track for the humans to exercise, theres water for the doggies. And the people are always so nice. Its a wonderful place for dog association :)

This pleasant off-leash dog park is tucked in the hills above Camarillo, with pretty views in several directions. There are separate fenced areas for large and small dogs, although no one seemed to mind if smaller dogs were in the large dog section. Both areas are double-gated so that even if a potential runaway slipped through one gate it would be unlikely to get through both.This is a generally well-maintained dog park, with foot operated water fountains in each area, and plenty of grassy ground for even the largest dogs (- like Romy the Cane Corso and Ike the Great Dane) to run and play to their hearts content. There are benches scattered around the perimeter inside the fence, and a popular wall along the shadiest side for people who want to sit a spell.In general the regulars (owners) :) are very pleasant, and were welcoming to this visiting user. (Cooper dog says hi!) The majority oversee their dogs behavior well and look out for each others dogs as well.In late summer this park seems most used in the evenings when it is cooler and the surrounding trees provide ample shade, and the small parking lot is often full at that time of day, but there is usually plenty of parking available on the approach road.

We just moved here so we tried this park out on a Saturday and people had their small children there and weren’t watching them at all. They were running at the dogs spooking them. This one couple had two young girls and they would run with their two dogs at my small miniature dachshund and scare her. The parents were rude and didn’t care that their kids were making our dog uncomfortable. Our dog has anxiety so it takes a lot of courage and training for her to be able to go into a dog park and this situation definitely set us back in training. If we go back we will definitely go during the week to avoid any kids not controlled by their parents. It was a shame that these people ruined our experience because it was a really pretty park.

You know, people will always find something to complain about, but this is the nicest dp Ive ever seen. I mean, on a clear day there are island views! Theres a concerted maintenance effort sometimes resulting in closures, but the effect is a really great experience for the dogs and their humans.

What a great dog park! Love that its sectioned off for small dogs and large dogs. The water fountain is a great feature.I also appreciate the owners being respectful of other dogs. Every time Ive gone, the owners monitor their dog well, and always pick up poop when needed, and are willing to give their dog a time out if play time gets too rough.

Not really, but most people would like it. My pet peeve is tiny dogs on the big dog side of the dog park, this was a fail for sure. I have a very large dog and he does not get along well with ankle biters. So we called it a day, and wont be back.If you have regular sized dogs and they dont mind the little ones, then its a great dog park.

I would like to give Springville dog park a huge five on the beautiful work that they did on the park and all the hard work and effort that many of the workers put into making it a beautiful place the unfortunate thing is that we have people who constantly are bullying others about things that are really none of their business creating a very very very tense atmosphere and making it a really bad experience for others at the park I think there should be more policing and I think that there should be an understanding that these people need to mind their business they get involved they make it hard for other people to enjoy themselves and they over exaggerate on things because maybe of the rage I dont know but they get excited scream and yell when none of it happens to do with their dog it really makes the time at Springville very very very very terrible experience I hope that Ill be able to reach somebody there at Pleasant Valley so that we can discuss this and hopefully make it a better experience. This is a great dog park. Has 2 sections one for smaller dogs. Large greenbelt to play with your dog and their toys. Also the view of Camarillo isnt half bad.

Great park! Very large enclosed park with separate areas for small and big dogs. Very clean, multiple water points and parking for cars on site. If you drive a truck, youll have to park on the street, its pretty tight in there.

Big space for bigger dawgs. Little dog space is well, little.Nice benches. Few areas of shade to sit at. More trees are being planted though. Doggy water fountains in both areas.Porta-potty across the street at the tennis courts.

Decent area for small dogs and a much bigger area for the big dogs. And a nice water dish for dogs. Just step on button to activate. People are hit and miss. That is why I am giving a 4 star.

The park is still open (as of 11/26)... but with some of the park under construction, the city has really let the rest of the park go. There is hardly any grass. Its really sad. The general consensus is why has the city done nothing to sustain the park which hasnt been worked on in months. Otherwise, its open and the dogs love it.

This is def the best dog park in Camarillo since Camarillo Springs burned down. Clean, new, tons of space to run and a separate small dog section. They keep the grass nice and there is a walking track going around the perimeter of the whole thing so you can keep walking and your pups get to walk with you off-leash. Its great for socializing young doogs!

Newly renovated dog park is a joy. Lacks shade, so beware of the sun during our sunny days.

Excellent park for any size dog. Improvements made to the park are beautiful.

Our dog got bit while at the park. Please stay close to your animals even if they are well behaved because people often bring poorly trained or territorial dogs here. We usually stay for a little over an hour while its busy and about half the time there is a small scuffle. Our dog was mounted and tried to run but got bit. I was lucky to be right next to him when it occurred.

Tried to visit this park on my way up the California coast with my dog. We first visited the Mission Oaks area but I was hesitant since there was no fence. Mission Oaks was beautiful but I didn’t want to risk my dog running off in an unfamiliar city. We went to Springville to see if it was better. The park ranger followed me around instead of telling me the park was closed. There were no signs indicating the closure of the park. The park didn’t seem that great but I wanted my dog to run around. It appeared clean but other than that it was very, very basic.Giving this a one star for the creepy park ranger.

Divided areas for big & small dogs. The area for the smaller dogs is too small in my opinion. There are water fountains and benches, located in kind of ritzy residential neighborhood. The Thousand Oaks dog park is my choice.
