This is a small trail around Cal Luth University, TO. Beautiful hike with beautiful views. There are plenty of cactuses. April is their peak time for blooming. Just watch for your steps.

This park is amazing. It is literally my favorite place to walk around in Camarillo. It’s sad because after the fires, a lot of the park did shut down. However, if you continue down the road you can still walk and end up at the waterfall. It is dog friendly as well. You just have to keep them on leash.

Damn beautiful mountains. Much appreciated when hiking as opposed to driving by.

This park is great. They have a tough trail that walks up the mountain and there is an easier one. There are great views everywhere. I would highly recommend going hiking here.

I love spending a relaxing time with my kids at this place but I would love to know if the water at the little river is clean, I’ve heard is water from a sewer. Somebody knows?

Ok. Cant say enuf about my favorite- easy-to-get-to hike. Right now the mountain trail head is closed but suppose to reopen soon. The east creek trail leads down to the creek crossing and my dog is so happy jumping up and down and running wild. I saw some horse dropping so need to be a little careful off-leashing your dog. The west trail heads up into Wildwood and you can find an old truck buried in dry creek bed. This way is a little more traveled so run into horse and bikers. Lots more to say about why I like this spot but most of all the rock formations are spectacular.
