I do deep water aerobics. The class and instructor are wonderful!

My son was so excited to learn how to swim. I signed him up for level 2 thinking he would learn the basic techniques to swimming. During the 7 lessons, he learned how to tread water, grab something off the bottom of the pool and jump off the side. It wasnt until the 4th day when they did any thing resembling swimming. These sessions are 25 minutes long, which is rediculous. Especially for $80. There were 5 kids in his group which means my son received 5 minutes of instruction. I will admit, I did not look closely at the length of the lesson when signing him up. I thought I was paying for a longer class. That is my fault. The last 10 minutes of the class, the kids jumped off the wall. If my son jumped 1st, his class was over 5 minutes early which means he had a 20 minute class not 25. The instructors taught them the back stroke and free style and had the kids each swim a few feet. Never once did I see an instructor show my son the proper way to move his arms. In my opinion, this shouldve been taught day 1. I had to switch weeks due to a family emergency and was called 3 times by the staff to collect the $10 transfer fee. I informed them that I would pay in person because I didnt want to give my credit card number over the phone. Needless to say, the response I received wasnt nice.Im not one of those moms who thinks my kid is great at everything. I know hes not, but he will have to repeat level 2 again because there wasnt proper instruction. I will make sure he receives this at another location because I refuse to return to the Pleasant Valley Aquatic Center.

My youngest daughter took swim classes in this facility. It made my baby comfortable in the water and she is staring to learn how to paddle and turn on her back to float. It gave me a piece of mind as we have a pool at home.

We came here for a kids fun and joyful birthday party. Right?! Sophie shows up to work with the most hideous attitude. Not smiling approachable and plain rude to all party guest adult and kids. Examples were eye rolls snappy when asked a question about the rules down right defensive. THANK GOD her negative and rude demeanor did not put a damper on the kids fun. I advise that Sophie work under direct supervision and be taught proper edicate with face to face customer service. Completly unhappy with her behavior.

Just love being in the water enjoy the ladies in the aquacize class is quite relaxing after a long day

Locker room was gross while a staff member was sitting on the floor in the office texting :(
