Nice place for either ball. Food is horrible though. Mustard’s looks like it’s from the 90’s.

Nice, but they try to cramp way to many people in there. Had a softball tournament, boys and mens baseball practice going on.. way to may people in a not so big space. Seating for games is terrible.

They have teamed up with the Boys & Girls club of Milwaukee, for enter city Baseball (RBI program). Kind of far, but that have a great facility and inside field.

15 -16 kids on a team?? How stupid can these parents be? Do you really think that spending $3,500 a year is going to help your kid? Batting 9 at 10-12 U? Ridiculous. The only players that get any attention are the standouts. The rest are just money in the bank. Go somewhere where your kid is going to develop, unless your trying to teach your kid how to sit.

I have been going to Hitters for over five years. I am a former professional player and wanted to get some swings in a couple times a week in order to play in local men’s leagues. I use two facilities, one in Chicago, and Hitters in Caledonia. The facility is impressive. I have been to “academy’s and “batting cages” all over the country and it ranks up there with the best of them… to LOOK at…Five Star indeed. However, I struggle to give the overall rating of this facility a single star. I am obviously not the type of customer Hitter’s wants. Even though I have brought in other players from Men’s leagues and Nationally recognized Senior Men’s League teams, it doesn’t seem to show up on their radar. At first, I was given a “package” to come in and hit on selected nights. Nights that fit into the schedule of the facility and didn’t interfere with any of the instruction. All I wanted was use of the cage and sometimes pitching machine. I was given a fair price and enjoyed the facility, hence the five years of patronage. Recently, I went online and noticed an “all you can hit” package. I wanted this for a couple nights a week and was told that package did not exist any longer, yet it was on the website…I was then given an outrageous price on a per month basis. This was a price per month that was was nearly half of what I had paid for 3 months of hitting before. I was told this was the package and the price posted on the website was old. Disappointed, I chose not to pay the $150. per month fee for a couple of nights of use each week, and paid the $35.00 for an hour of hitting in a cage. While in the cage, the machine was set up by an employee, and maybe, I repeat, maybe, one out of every 5 pitches were even close to hitting. The ball would hit the frame of the machine and ricochet in the netting or the arm would not pick the ball up and would just fling the arm, or throw the ball about 55 feet short hopping it to the plate…it was terrible. This has been an ongoing problem at this facility for a while. Almost every other time I went in before, the machine would be broken and I would hit off a tee or have a friend throw to me.I’m sure this is a great facility for those young boys/men learning to play this great game and are catered to and get personal instruction and a team to travel with. Learn the game…but if you are looking for a place to hit, take some infield, throw, and not the old school instruction, already played this game for decades, this in NOT the place for you. The machines in the cages are terrible, even if they do work, you won’t feel welcome. If Hitter’s can not hang a printed out banner with your name on it and the college you attend, you’re not the customer they want. I cannot and will not recommend this facility to any ballplayer at the college level or higher. I can get better workouts using soft toss machines, grabbing a team mate and throwing to each other. Certainly get better customer service and better pitches to hit at the local putt-putt.
