We inherited a family farm south of Cairo. It is full of history not only about our family roots but also the lifestyle in southern Georgia.Driving down Broad street we saw a sign for the museum but it was closed. So we returned the next day to check it out. We had a wonderful visit with the curator and said we would return with relics from our farm. We are the third generation to own this place and enjoyed sharing some of the farm kitchen items, clothes that the family made and wore and lots of tools and farm implements. We know our parents would be very proud that we are helping record Cairo history by sharing with this wonderful museum.Bill and Glenda Fussell
