Great service, clean facilities, very responsible COVID-19 protocols.For me, the best is being so close to the beach, with direct walking access to it from their premises.

Our favorite place to go for breakfast in Puerto Rico! Its close to the beach and very clean and also air-conditioned! A great breakfast selection. They even make flower shaped pancakes that are light and spongy and delicious! Amazing coffee. The breakfast burrito it really big and tasty as well! The staff is always friendly.

Small in size, it is only a short 1 1/2 min walk to the beach. I will definitely come back and enjoy another sunset.

Really nice staff and very clean rooms, the prices are a little high for the size but the location off the beach is so close and with the other relaxing spots they have it is worth it. My suggestion is more towels in the bathroom ( use ladies sometimes need 2 alone) and the key system needs help it takes forever to get into the room! Resturants and bars are all 5 mins walking. We will return with friend and every 4th night is free

I enjoyed my stay Presidents day weekend. The place is nice and clean, the bed were nice and firm, room spotless. Breakfast was very good with decent prices. Coffee bar, pool table, pool with a gazebo, small basketball court and beach volleyball. You can rent kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles.Friendly staff the cherry on top.WiFi was weak but who needs Wi-Fi so close to paradise?Highly recommended.

A great place for a few days on the beach to relax and have fun with friends and family. The rooms are comfortable, well-equipped and spotless. A path leads from the pool past a small lagoon to the beach. There is only breakfast at the hotel but lots of good bars and restaurants just a short walk away, many of which overlook the sea. Everyone is friendly and helpful and there is a happy, welcoming vibe. Definitely recommended.

A place to chill and love

Right off the bat the air conditioner did not work while it was 95 out we were planing on a free breakfast that went with our booking but that never happen No coffee in the roo s they charged 2.50 for a 4once coffee.Would not stay again

Everthing else was excellent , but there was noise at night like banging on the floor or walls i supposed it was little kids playing around the room next to me. At least i did not have a pleasant sleep one night but everything else was fine. Staff excellent and cleanliness was excelleent . Bathrooms super clean!! Rooms super clean!! Pool big and very nice temperature.

The New Years Dinner and Party was a total fiasco... No phone or intercom in the rooms for room service or any other needs... No restaurant at the hotel... the fridge was empty, no vending machine accessibles... the bed totally discomfort... no products in the bathroom... Oh my Lord the list its long and juicy... embarrassing!!!

Family owned and operated. During Maria’s hurricane they where the perfect Oasis. We went back a couple of times and they alwaysMade us feel like family.Breakfast Wi Fi bar pool rooms are big and comfy.

The location of the property allows you to truly experience the local culture. The beach was close to the property which made it easy to access. The downside was the limited continental breakfast options and quality. The local supermarket down the street also offers a limited selection so make sure to grab your snacks and things in Ponce.

Wonderful and friendly service, very clean, brightly lit lobby and hallways at night. Room was great, although we wished the shower had a bit more water pressure. Pool area was very clean and modern. Best part was how close it is to Combate Beach. Combate is the longest continuous beach in Puerto Rico and the balneario (public beach) area gets very crowded. But the beach for the parador is on the southern side of Combate and separated from the main beach by a small pier, essentially making it a private beach. The Cabo Rojo lighthouse, La Playuela (Playa Sucia), and the Salinas are all within a 5-10 minute drive.

For my surprised this place was better than what I expected. The hotel was clean, no odor, had AMAZING AC, great pool area, good amenities. The employees were very helpful and super friendly. The hotel is located close to the beach and restaurants, you cant beat that.

I had a great stay at Combate beach resort. I had an awesome time, really cant wait to come back.

By far, this place IS NOT A RESORT, Its more like a rustic and dated Motel 6. I was planning to stay for 4 days, left on day 2. DONT BOOK THIS PLACE is not worth your money.

The property is close to everything you would need for a weekend getaway(beach, food, nightlife). Or even to take the kids( pool, beach, food, short drive to other kid friendly activities)

I know you probably want to see the pictures of the hotel but forget that, this is the backyard and it makes EVERYTHING much better. Their staff is amazing, they have a restaurant inhouse with delicious food good prices. Best vacations in PR.

The rooms were clean, there was breakfast but just a few items. There is a step to get in bathroom that was impossible to remember and we injured our toes. Quick walk to the beach though. Bring bug spray. No coffee maker or microwave in room

Clean, safe, beautiful complex. AC, direct TV, hot water, small fridge, room is huge with 2 queen bed where we stayed which was 1st level room #7. The pool is super clean and pretty. The staff is very friendly and capable to run that place. They are very respectful. Love the check in area as they offer a gift shop and artesanal limbers which is fruit ice. The only thing is they should have waffle and boiledeggs included in the continental breakfast. They offer cereals, bread, bageI, coffee, orange juice, cream cheese, butter and fruit in a bowl. Still giving them a 5 because I felt so safe in that place and they even have a gate to go straight to thebeach!

Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, majority of the staff is decent, but be careful who you deal with because some you can tell dont wanna be there working. For what it is, its way over priced. I reserved this 4 months in advance. To our surprise one room was on the first floor and another on the second floor. Throughout your whole stay you have to wear this uncomfortable wrist band. The purpose of the band is pretty cool because it identifies who is allowed in the premises. Kinda unhygienic to keep that thing on for 3 days. Need a towel to go to the pool? You have to give up your ID until you return the towels. Need a basketball, you have to give up your ID. Food and drinks are a bit over priced at the complex not too much in comparison to the rest of the village. Everywhere you go you are going to over pay. Its very convenient to be steps from the beach, but not worth it. Stay at your own risk.

A bit pricey for off season. But the accommodations are great, room was very clean. Nice hot water, good a/c, comfy bed. Cant beat the west coast vibe.

Wonderful area for local family tourism and foreign ecotourism. Fresh fish found daily and surrounded by historical places.

Good place is not a 3 start hotel but had access to the beach, the breakfast was excellent and the attention was 5 start.

Room too small . Doors still using lock and key. No safety lock inside. One in gap underneath door, mosquito entered while sleeping.

Seemed like more of a flophouse for college students than a hotel. Common areas were fine, but the rooms were like a Motel 6. Bedding looked pretty sketchy and I felt like I was going to end up in one of those found footage movies. They initially put us in a different building down the street.. walking past a bunch of trash cans.. When they started explaining all the different keys we had to use just to access the room, I realized this wasnt somewhere wed be comfortable.They did show us another room in the main building which was very claustrophobic and not somewhere Id actually want to stay. Pretty sure I could have found drugs in the room and wouldnt want to go over it with a UV lamp.. Honestly if I was still in my early 20s I probably would have thought it was just fine. We ended up cancelling and going somewhere more to our taste.If your idea of fun is malt liquor and awkward conversation with 20-something beach bums youll probably enjoy it just fine. If youre looking for a resort experience, run.

Great place, nice people, very clean and one of the best beaches in Puerto Rico.

Really nice place , 2 minute walk to the beach, perfect for little kids because theres no waves. From the front desk to the cleaning crew the were very pleasant,courteous and informative plus spoke English as well. The pool was super clean and the water was warm, next to the pool they have outdoor sofas and a place to eat, also a pool table. We stayed in one of the affordable rooms which is the long norrow room with the tv on the wall between both beds, so dont expect to lay in bed and watch tv comfortably. The biggest inconvenience was that the A/C is located behind the las bed, it was botheredsome having really cold air hitting your head while keeping the first bed occupants cool. But I have to say that the beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was super clean and so was the bathroom. the family and I enjoyed it so much that we are planning to stay here again next year but in one of their bigger rooms.

We drove here from San Juan to get away from Hurricane Irma! While the island had no electricity, we did here! We sat at the bar and had some of the best sangria!! Very accommodating! Continental breakfast in the am. Felt right at home! When we come back to P.R we will arrange to bring the family here! Love it!!

Great hotel and AMAZING beach for kids. I have never seen a white sand beach with such flat water. Staff was very nice and gave recommendations for places to order food to go and where to eat in person.

My family rented a nearby beach house but visited the restaurant and souvenir shop which are open to the public. We went there several times and the staff was always helpful and friendly.

Cozy place next to the beach. They have their own shower outside so you can use after going to the beach. Not in the mood for the beach but still want to cool down? They have a pool. Free WiFi, convenient store, a bar, breakfast, and a cava full of wine.

This is a gem of a resort. Dont hesitate to check them out. The rooms are very clean and staff are a treasure of information. Location is excellent with great restaurants within walking distance.

The room was small and basic, small bathroom with a small shower. Many activities at the hotel and the staff are absolutely awesome. Secured and parking on site with a quick walk through a gate and youre on the beach. No iron, ironing board or hair dryer in room. Its so close to the lighthouse and playa (dirty) which is not a dirty beach its amazingly clean and a spectacular cove with views of sheer rock cliffs great place to spend the day with the family exploring and playing on the beach. The breakfast was totally adequate and I would stay there again.

This is not a resort. It is a 2 -3 star hotel. Breakfast is very sad just bread and coffee if you are lucky to find any bagel or bread left. Hotel is overpriced for what it is.

Very clean room and easy access to beach

Stayed with family 2 times. First stay wws amazing and a awesome experience we stayed in the rooms close to lobby great rooms. 2nd stay was okay but they gave us a room in the other building. The room is close to road where cars passed by all night and you could.here local business music all night . Me and fam hardly slept. Prices are high but it is perfectly close to the beach.

I absolutely loved it.. the room was big and clean, it was comfortable for my husband and I plus the 2 kids. The staff is unbelievably nice and if u ask for something, more towels, directions, anything. ..they are attentive! The pool was steps away and was great...the kids had a blast. Parking right in front of room was one of the perks! Will def return!

If you need fork with the included breakfast you have to order food other than the free breakfast , so you have to eat your fruit salad with your hands. Room needs for ever to cool, one key for the room, hair dryer and ironing machine you need to borrow, and always out, for three days my wife tried to borrow the hair dryer and always out so I advice if you decided to stay there get your house with you

Just spent 4 nights at the resort. Staff was super accommodating, helpful and efficient. The beach is top notch. Very long and uncrowded. Calm and quiet waters (if thats your preference). The village area comes to life nicely on the weekend, in particular. There is a lot to do and see within a 15-30 minute drive (a car is a must). Playa Sucia and the cliffs around the Faro are great. Good snorkle area in La Parquera. Room was clean and comfortable and facilities are well cared for. Make sure to ask for restaurant tips at desk as a lot of local spots dont necessarily show up on map search..Its not a lux type of place, so if your thinking resort in those terms, youll need to consider that. But it is a wonderful place to spend a quite, long weekend.

Nice Hotel with pool and close to the beach

I have a place in Cabo Rojo and we had a power outage in the area. I have two small kids and not knowing how long it would be I rushed over to the hotel to see if they had any rooms for the night. They had a room available. I booked the room and went back to house to pick up the family. While I am packing their stuff for the night the power went back on. I then proceeded to go back to the hotel to explain we didn’t need the room. I never stepped foot in the room. The manager whose name was Pedro told me it was policy we don’t reimburse rooms. I even explained to him that I would pay some sort of fee for their troubles. He explained to me that he can’t do it and the power will probably go out again so I have a room. I been coming down for 13 years and I never had an experience where someone blantly took advantage of me because I was scrambling to make sure my family was safe. I own a property management and vacation rental company and I would have never done this. If I stepped in the room or used the facilities...different story. I hope this review goes back to the owner of the hotel. If one of my employees acted this way to a customer there would be repruccsions.
