Love the snow capped mountains in the foreground of our walk this afternoon. Beautiful Montana scenery!

Whiskey Gulch Station! Nice, remotely quiet, slightly scenic place to take the dog for a quick walk if we cant get into the mountains or are pressed for time. Only drawback is the bugs in the summer time. Due to S#!π Creek being so close, you may encounter clouds of mosquitos and whatever else may be hatching nearby once the weather warms up.

This is the Butte end of a terrific walking & bike trail that wanders west along side the now almost recovered SilverBow Creek. Currently the trail skirts the edge of Rocker (parking & restrooms) crosses under I15 (no access) arrives at Silver Bow (parking & restrooms), and after crossing the railroad tracks on rough road, heads west along the creek to Ramsey. From there cyclists can continue westward on country roads until barriers stop you just before a new bike path will (in a year or so) guide you through the spectacular, newly recovered, Durante Canyon towards Fairmont Resort... and in the future, perhaps all the way to Warm Springs.

I really like this area I like the fact that the trail continues on for miles, Perfect for bike riding all day long. Theres a nice little creek runs all the way through it and then top it off its next to the railroad tracks which my boys love. This weekend the creek was up on the trail underneath the bridge but it wasnt so deeply couldnt ride through it. I didnt realize this trailer so long because its not even on Google Maps yet.The restrooms are a great addition to these trails and theyre not the typical outhouse. The toilets are all completely metal but nothing a little sheet of toilet paper cant help.We happen to stop in the park and rocker which was nice for the boys. A pretty decent equipment including a basketball hoop for half court. The show itself was a little bit bumpy between Butte and rocker. But Id still call this one my favorite walking trail.

This park is more like ten miles of winding beat up rough dirt roads.. then once you get to the park its not really a park do yourself a favor and pick a different park!! Complete waste of time .. Benn
