Really lovely little piece of Butte history. We stumbled upon it during our stop in town on a cross-country road trip.The tour is self-guided, and you can spend a fair amount of time learning about the history of Butte (particularly the arts and the Irish community). The gallery of Bill Ohrmanns work is an absolute treasure, too.

Dont waste your time with the tour. Walk the house and read info on line. Interesting turn of century house but not as good as the copper king mansion a block away.

A great addition to the Uptown Butte community. The Clark Chateau Museum offers historical tours of the building in addition to providing live musical events, theatrical productions, hosting visiting writers and poets, educational classes, and yoga and dance classes. They also offer a variety of free youth programs, an art gallery and rotating historical exhibits.

Fabulous to visit one of the original Butte mansions. Great gift shop with beautiful work by local artists. Be sure and go!
