My friend and I went twice and had one really good experience and one really bad one. In the first game (Antidote) our game master Tayah was super nice and helpful with clues we had a super fun time and we were pumped to come back. For our second game (Arizona Shootout) we used two of our clues and thought we received a freebie (our game master Thomas put a clue on the screen without us pressing the button to ask for a clue) but then he deducted a clue from our total anyways. Then, we got stuck in the second room and were given a clue you have all the numbers you need to find the breweries on the map each brewery was on a numbered block in a numbered zone leading to the door code. We had a slip of numbers we found leading us to the correct block where the breweries were supposed to be. The problem was all the breweries on the map had common names (ex city hall). We spent 20 minutes looking for breweries, pubs, and bars on the map). What we were supposed to do was match the beer bottles littered throughout the room to the with the numbered block to get the numbered zone leading to the door code. The thing is, its less the frustration with not solving the room and not being able to use our clues when we wanted, because the clues we didnt ask for werent clues we desperately needed or wanted. Lastly when we called and asked about the last clue we received and asked if we were given the correct clue Mona(nicest woman ever) offered us a free room because she said how the clue we got could have easily been misleading. However upon arrival Thomas(the game master from the game we complained about) was at the desk, and tried to charge us for another room. He told us he would talk to Mona, but then said she was busy. We ended up leaving. Go here, but dont have Thomas as your game master.

We love escape rooms! My husband and I try to do them on our own, unless rated really hard, and then we enjoy the rooms with family and friends. My only wish is that they didnt keep the rooms so long before switching them out. Overall, great experience, especially for a date or a group. A good way to get to know each other and how certain people think.

Escapeology is such a great place. Fantastic staff and wonderfully puzzling rooms. Everytime I am in the area I try a new room. The new owners and the staff are so wonderful and helpful. It is definitely worth trying.

Escapeology is a great place to bring family, friends and coworkers!! They can do private parties even!!! I would highly recommend anybody and everybody to check this place out. The crew they have working is excellent to talk and deal with! Visit if you havent all ready!

If you are looking for something fun to do as a group, this is a must do in Butte. Had a blast trying to escape the rooms from clues provided. If you get stuck, hints are provided too. They have many themed rooms to choose from based upon how easy or herd they are to complete. 5-stars and will do again.

So thankful for this awesome addition to Butte! The staff are so much fun. The rooms are amazing! Love the decor, the atmosphere, and the challenge. Great fun for our whole family-kids, teens, parents, and even grandparents can enjoy this. We are determined to escape all the rooms they have now before new ones come to town.

This was our 3rd escape room ever. I must say that weve enjoyed all of them weve done across Montana. We did Budapest Express at Escapology in Butte and was thoroughly impressed. Cant wait to try the other ones. They did a terrific job creating a realistic environment. Well definitely be back! Thanks for bringing this to Montana.

I have been to this place 4 times now and had a very enjoyable experience every time. I highly recommend it and the staff are very friendly. Its now become a bi weekly event for me and my friends. Im always excited to try to escape the next room!

Mikey was an amazing game master. So thankful. Dan and Ashley helped serve us drinks and were very professional. Also Reno was our game host and he was quick and informative when giving us the run down in the room.

Excellent atmosphere! The staff is exceptional. Each room provides a unique and varied experience. I would recommend this activity for anyone 10 and up.

Awesome staff, totally rad/challenging puzzles. If you like a good time with family and solving problems on a time crunch, this is the place!Environment is clean, professional and calm. They take cash credit and debit as well.

Had a great time for our first escape room!

We visited the newest and most challenging puzzle at the time- Narco. It was exceptionally fun and the staff was very positive and overall amused. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is there were serious problems with the puzzle rooms and the puzzle itself- such as their cameras not working, the puzzle pieces misplaced and the staff not even fully getting it to help us through the few times we ground to a halt (they had to just give us the answer because the hint didnt make sense to them). We also got for real locked in!!! We finished the puzzle and followed the last step... The door went click and we pushed on it.. and it was still locked one of the staff happened to hear the click and came to rescue us thank goodness. None of us really understood the ending to the puzzle story either... But it was still an experience I would do again a hundred times over.

Quite challenging and great team building exercise.

They were all booked up for the afternoon when I visited, but the guy at the counter, Seamus, hooked me up with a discount and a reservation for the following day. Very cool. No spoilers!

Amazing place for family time, night out with friends or even date night. This venue has amazing staff working 24/7, if you have any questions or need help they go above & beyond for the customers.
