We had a great time Butlers Great Escape. The mystery was just the right amount of challenging. The staff was helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

I have played over 100 escape rooms, including almost every room in the Pittsburgh area. Butlers Great Escape is among the worst. The owners are clearly attempting to cash-in on the escape room phenomenon with no care for contributing to the growth of the industry. Their rooms are done on the cheap, with little effort put into creating immersive environments. Worse, their rooms include puzzles that are poorly designed, violating the unwritten rules of escape rooms and requiring large leaps of logic. Now that the escape room business has grown to a point of saturation, places like Butlers Great Escape are starting to close because escape room enthusiasts have higher standards for quality. Unfortunately, with no immediate competition in the Butler area, this place may be able to stay in business longer than it should. It is a shame for people who live in that area, as they are unlikely to play other rooms if this is their only exposure to the industry.

Went last night and Jerry was very helpful in our booking. The clues are good and it was my first time. I cant wait for a new room. Fun and football themed! Cant go wrong!

Attended the escape room in October 2017. It was an exciting and fun experience. Very challenging and would recommend you need out of the box thinkers but totally worth it. One con is that it is a bit on the expensive side but it’s the perfect last minute double date if you’re looking for something fun to do in Butler.

Great in terms of construction. Managed horribly and clues were so so. Ive been to 4 of these and I would not recommend this one. I called to ask questions for booking and no one returned any of my calls. My date and I were thrown with a much of random teenagers. It was pure chaos , this is what ruined it. Its built for a team of 6 or less not jam 10 people in it , to make more money. Rediculouse!!!!!

I enjoyed my time at Butlers Great Escape. I have been to a few escape rooms and this one was one of the more enjoyable rooms. I liked the backstory, maybe its because Im partial to the Steelers. There were a few surprises that wasnt expected, but in the end we found what we were looking for and escaped the room. I would recommend to any Steeler fan.
