Just a heads up as of 4/5/2020 the skatepark is gated off. But its an awesome park regardless. Keep posted on when this is all over for some good times.

Awesome outdoor concert here tonight. Chase and Ovation really put it down. Thank you to the Summer Relief Series and Mick Sterling. Good to see Mayor Kautz say hi before the guitars got turned up.

Very fun and enjoyable. Easy location and very smooth ramps. The bowl is well designed and perfect drop-ins.

Highly recommend going elsewhere and saving yourself the frustration, the people talking about the layout being good have never been to a decent skatepark. Everything line instersects and its all slanted making it impossible to get speed for one side of things. This all wouldnt be a deal breaker if it werent for all the unsupervised riders and no the parents arent supervising beyond sitting on their phone. I cleaned up a large pile of glass that this grown man was just watching his kids ride through. Go to Walton or build a box and be free of this scooter themed nightmare

Good park. Everything is a little tight but its fun to skate if there arent too many ppl. Definitely turns into a daycare so if you are good and trying to rip freely go early unless you want kids in your way everywhere. Fun boxes and rails at different heights for different skill levels. Step up would be more fun if the park was flat. You have to skate uphill to hit half of the features so it gets you tired quick sometimes. Mini ramp is old and tired and crooked as well. Would definitely rate higher if the park was level

Good skatepark, now karen and susan, dont bring you scooter kid, we dont want him here and hes probally annoying as hell. Psa kids under 10 should go and scooter kids under 13 should leave

Our family has been there a handful of times since it reopened. The park itself is nice and the amenities seem adequate, especially considering there is no cost. However, each time we have been to this skate park there has been older teenagers/young adults (late teens/early 20s) that seem to act like they own the place. They are rude to our younger children and say things to give off a vibe that beginners dont belong here. There is no staff to keep these people in line so they persist with their rude behavior. One guy threatened to run over my daughter because he felt she was too small for this park and not talented enough for his liking. I told him to mind his own business and go to a park that charges admission if he wanted a more professional environment. This guy continued to swear out loud to nobody in particular with f-bombs and be passive aggressive toward me. I asked one of the other fathers there and he agreed with me that this guys behavior was out of line. We have had similar experiences, only to a lesser degree each time we have been there. Teenagers that feel the park is theirs and only certain skills should be allowed. If Burnsville would have staff there these situations would be avoided and lessened.

I had the best time there. Will return next year

Grew up skating this park and it has transformed into an all concrete plaza, complete with a beautiful bowl. Looks great, skates better. Thank you Burnsvillians!

Compact and varied skatepark. Features are intermediate to advanced. Concrete. Portapotty on-site. No shade.

My son loves to skate here. Be forewarned there is no shade.

Awesome skatepark, info before noon on the weekdays and it is great. People are nice, skill levels vary from new to really good to people just trying to get back into it again like myself.Scooters, Skateboards, and bikes are most common here but I have seen blades and Y Flickers/ripsticks too.Good amount of flat ground trick room and lanes for grinding the ledges there, also has drop in ramps. Has a double mini pipe and a cement bowl as well.Two flat ledges to manual etc, many areas to transition, stair gap with rail and ledge. Two rails and a half stair gap with ramp as well.When crowded it can be hard to find a spot to skate, or wait your turn I guess, go early.

Newer, all cement, next to The Garage, decent park. If you are new to the area, dont worry about sketchiness, it is right near the police depot. Also includes two pokegyms, some stops, and a rotating nest.

Great place for skateboarding and scootering. I had a great time there and would come again all the time

ONLY BOWL IN METRO AREA THATS FREE !! Brand new late summer 2016 updates are all concrete ! Very nice bowl! A couple sweet gaps........ BMX....... SKATEBOARD ROLLERBLADE SCOOTER freindly ! Overall worth visting. Right across the street from the burnsville police station so safe so clean and new. What a deal.
