Love this gym! My son has been going here since he was 2 and weve always had good experiences. The teachers are SO patient with all the kids and they teach great skills too. Having the swim academy right next door is a great perk as well.

Our girls love EGA, we have been coming for several years now and have seen great progression in their skills. Coaches are great and the facility is very nice and always kept clean and well maintained.

My granddaughter LOVES EGA! She has so much fun and has made so many new friends. We love coming to watch her. You can tell she loves her coaches and they know her well! So impressed!

We recently held my Daughters 5th Birthday party here. Everything was perfect! I am so impressed with our experience from start to finish and would highly recommend you book your next party here. About a week out, the gymnastics place we originally booked canceled on us. You can imagine the fear that took over with one week to plan a party for 21 kids! A friend recommend EGA so I immediately reached out.....holding our party at EGA was meant to be. It just so happened that they had the availability to take us and also at the same time we planned at the original place. Bonus! We had the place to ourselves!!! Booking the party on the phone was easy enough and I was excited to know that all I had to bring was the cake. Everything else was included (every parents dream...no mess, no cleaning, and no shopping!). The day of the party was more than we could have hoped for. Everything was already set up for us in the lobby. The girl working the front desk was amazing and the two staff assisting with the kiddos in the gym (Hannah and Philly - spell?) were absolutely amazing!!! They were able to keep each and every one of the 21 kids engaged for the entire two hours...they all had a blast! The staff kept us on track with timing...after the gym time, they sent the kids to all wash their hands before cake, they stepped in and passed out the cake, they brought the kiddos back out to the gym for more play time after cake (we skipped opening presents because everyone was having too much fun), they brought me out to the floor so I could take a group pic (I mean...who thinks of that?! it was awesome), they handed out a cute gift back pack to each kid and a balloon as we were leaving. They cleaned up the party and my Daughter also got a t-shirt as a souvenir. Altogether, the day and experience couldnt have gone more smoothly. Thanks for saving our Daughters party with such short notice and providing the best experience for everyone EGA!!!!

We took students here for a large field trip and they did a WONDERFUL job. The students got to participate in many different options, and got free play - needless to say they were tired by the end of the day! The staff were organized, and fun - and the trip was a favorite! You will always get an honest and straightforward answer for your questions from these guys and the coaches they have for ALL levels are simply amazing. I have watched my daughter excel in her gymnastics journey month after month and I cant say enough how much I would recommend this place to other Twin Cities parents in the metro area! There are other gyms in the area but if your child is truly competitive then there is no comparison with the level of quality that you will get from EGA.

The owners and members are very encouraging, and get excited over anyones new personal record. This has been my source of happiness and I find it enjoyable to train here.

My son does Ninja Zone and loves it. Besides being active they learn about respect, responsibilities and manners. I also have a daughter on the Level 3 team and she loves going to practice during the week. The coaches are so good with the kids and make them enjoy every minute they are with them. It is a great family atmosphere!

My daughter started in the tots program years ago. She loved the coaches and classes. She is now on the JO competitive team and continues to love gymnastics. The clean facility and amazing staff make Elite awesome.

My daughter has been with Elite gymnastics for 10 years. It is a great facility with quality coaches and friendly front desk staff. They have recreational programs, boys and girls competitive teams, Ninja Zone and a wide variety of fun activities.

I have two children who attended classes at Elite Gymnastics. They have learned so much since October 2016. My son has autism, his ninja zone coach (Cameron ) is so patient and takes his time every week with my son. My daughter is in gymnastics. She had come so far with her ability and confidence since she started. All of the staff is super friendly, and professional. Most of all, you can tell they really enjoy what they do.

Both of our children love going to EGA for recreational gymnastics classes each week. My wife and I especially wanted to note how great Coach Cameron does with the students. We found this to be especially true with the four year old class, which can be a difficult group. Coach Cameron is funny, knowledgeable, and most of all very patient.

Amazing coaching staff and customer service! I was really excited that my daughter was able to share a sport she loves with her friends via a gymnastics birthday party! Other parents were so pleased they have been contacting me about getting their little ones registered!!!!

Great school, great employees! Our older kid has been attending for over 3 years now. Our 2 year old also just started last spring. The kids have fun and enjoy coming to class. Weve used their swim school as well for swimming lessons which were great too. The coaches really care about the kids getting the technique down. They take the time to repeat things until the kids do it right. Overall, very pleased with EGA Academy!

My daughter loves this place. The coaches are the best. They really work hard and do what is best for the students betterment​. We have tried other Gymastics schools, but none as good as this one.

My daughter used to take gymnastics classes here and we loved it here. Although we had one negative experience with a coach I didnt think it was reflective of the place - just not a good fit for our child. We did pull her out of classes as she was so young and didnt seem to take it serious enough for what we were paying. We heard the birthday parties were great there and decided to book a party. She had 16 friends come and they ran the party extremely well. They were very professional and did great with 17 7 year old girls. We brought extra items to put in the gift bags and they added everything and when I attempted to help they assured me there was no need. I would absolutely recommend a birthday party here and would do it again for our daughter.

From the moment we walked in I could tell this was the gym for my kids. Was so impressed that the staff at the front desk greeted everyone by name. There is plenty of comfortable space for us to watch while the kids practice and even a play area to keep my youngest one entertained! My kids are having a blast!

3 of my children have taken recreational classes at Elite. The coaches clearly enjoy working with children and are dedicated to helping each child reach their potential. My children have improved their strength, balance and self-confidence. The equipment is state of the art, safety is the #1 priority, and the kids have a blast!

Our 2 daughters 1st started at EGA over 5 yrs ago on a military scholarship while my husband was deployed. The owner was very accommodating when other gyms were not. We drive approximately 30 minutes one way to attend this gym because of the excellent coaching and friendly staff members. I now have a daughter who is part of the competitive team. Gymnastics has been therapeutic for our daughter and has taught her many life skills. We have enjoyed watching her grow in her confidence, skills & communication with the guidance of her great coaches. The staff and coaches have been quick to address concerns along our journey. I often have my other children and the lobby/parent viewing area has an area for my younger child to play and tables for my other children to do their homework. The gym also has healthy snacks for purchase if you are unable to leave. I highly recommend EGA for not only gymnastics but birthday parties & open gym. My daughter has also enjoyed summer camps and sleep over events at the gym.

Our daughter has been going here for 4 years now and we wouldnt go anywhere else. The staff and coaches are all amazing. Plus they have something for everyone... rec, team, trampoline, boys, ninja, etc. If youre looking to have a birthday party, they do those too!

Amazing staff, well-arranged space for lobby and gym, consistent coaching, and positive examples all over. This is our 3rd gym and EGA definitely has the elite status. The coaches are focused on the lessons, they provide critical yet positive feedback, and they are always willing to talk with the parents if needed. This can seem to get a bit pricey as you get into it, but if you do the math and weigh the quality then you wont mind doing this for your kid(s). They have Parents Night Out once a month that is open to non-members so you can always send your kid to try it out and it gives EGA kids chances to bring their friends for free time (note: if youre a cautious parent like some, you CAN stay in the lobby areas for the Parents Night Out; you dont have to leave).

I have a 7 year old on Level 3 Team and a 5 year old on pre-team that have been coming her since they were 2 years old. The coaches are trained to make sure they are learning skills correctly, at the right time and maintaining safety of the student.The kids get very excited to come each time and beg to go to open gym and the camps outside of practice. I would recommend the place for anyone interested in getting started in gymnastics or advancing their skills.

We were looking for something to get our kids more active. All three of them really enjoyed their experiences at Elite Gymnastics Academy. Weve tried other local gyms and they didnt make my girls feel comfortable with their abilities. Kudos to EGAs staff.

Weve done around 5 classes at this studio for both my son and daughter with mixed results (Parent & Me and Tumbler).Like most youth activities its all about the coaches that can make the program. When we have coach Cameron we have an amazing experience. Other coaches the lack of control and just attempting to get through the 45 mins is painful. Ive never seen a manager do rounds at the classes or provided an evaluation of the coach.Update: One week after posting this review the manager has added help to the class and also monitored the class to provide feedback to the instructor. Ive updated my original 3 star rating to 5 stars due to them taking initiative on constructive feedback.

Great gym.I have recommend many of my friends and each and everyone of them has felt the same way There is NO better gymnastics around recreation or team! 5 stars for sure!

We paid for one years worth of classes up front, yet they forget about my daughter each time a new session begins. Tonight was no different- and my daughter was humiliated this time because although shes very good, they placed her (12 years old) in with a group of 7 year olds who were less experienced. She felt that she had to lie about her age to the other kids who kept asking her how old she was in order to avoid any further embarrassment. Also, there has been a lack of communication on their part regarding other issues.

Nice staff at desk. Nice coaches. Just way too many kids in classes. The amount of time the kids just sit waiting for their turn is very disappointing. Weve done the toddler classes, the rec classes, the pre-team classes... its the same at all these levels.

The coaches are from the old school Russian traditions and a couple of them can be very mean. They pick out a few girls that they will focus on and spend less time training the girls that they see less potential, but they will still take your money. I regret that I did not take my daughter out much sooner, but she is now attending a gym with higher quality coaching. The lack of correct coaching built a poor foundation for the sport, but there is some improvement by attending a gym with higher quality coaching. When my daughter did level 3, she had scores in the 34 to 35 range, but they insisted that she do level 3 again. They did not even coach the young girls in level 3 for level 4, because the aim was to have higher scores at the compulsory meets. Many of the optional gymnasts left for other gyms and they are now pushing through gymnasts who did not make state or did mediocre into the next level. At the beginning of level 4, my daughter broke her arm in two places due to the coach in his sixties was not able to spot my daughter learning a new skill. Injuries happen, but when it is in a private lesson and learning a new skill for the first time, one would hope that the coach would be spotting the young gymnast. I wish that I had taken her out when they insisted she do level 3 a second time, but she did not want to leave her friends and I was hoping that it would get better. There are higher quality gyms around the Burnsville/Savage area and I am very pleased with the gym my daughter has now been attending the past year. My daughter has not lost her love for the sport, but I can see her frustrations in wanting to achieve a goal and having to undue some of the techniques she learned at elite and also get over the fears a poor level gym instilled in my daughter.Response to Oksana: At the new gym, the girls are trained in new skills at the lower levels. Each girl is given the opportunity to learn skills with equal attention and not watch a few girls receive more coaching than other athletes or have a couple of coaches that are mean. At level four they start learning the basics for caste to handstand that my daughter did not start until leaving the gym. Why after a year and a half am I posting a review, because it has to do with self-esteem and teaching to set goals and instill positive life long mental skills for our girls. After poor coaching in level 3, breaking her arm in two places for level 4 and then having low scores for level 5, and one example is a coach at a meet giving my daughters time to warm up on bars to another girl who was favored and seen as having more potential, this is a critique to improve on your end. My daughter has the physical ability to excel, but after the poor or lack of coaching she received and the fears she learned, she is limited in how far she can proceed. A solid foundation matters in the sport of gymnastics. Your gym is fine for recreational, Excel and Ninja and a very fun place for the preschool set.

My daughter attended a birthday party at EGA and had so much fun that we decided to sign up for a gymnastics class. She has now been taking lessons there for 2 years and loves it! The gym has so much to offer and the coaches are amazing. She has learned so many gymnastic skills in the time she has been there and is excited at the possibility of joining a team in the future where she can compete and enjoy all the benefits team gymnastics has to offer.

I have a 4 year old girl that has been enrolled at EGA since the age of two. My 2 year old will be starting soon. We have tried several other gyms in the south metro and have found the most complete and motivational instruction around. I highly suggest to check out EGA

We have two children who compete on teams with EGA, and they both love it! We have been very pleased with the coaches and helpful staff, recommending EGA to anyone who has expressed an interest in gymnastics.

I love that place where they were going out tonight but Ill try not to mention the fact that you could have just started doing open gym .

I cannot say enough good things about this gym. We first went to EGA in 2010. At the time I had a very energetic 4 year old that spent more time upside down then right side up. I needed to find an outlet for her energy! I loved the famliy feel when we first walked in. It ust felt right.It is now 8 years later and we are still at EGA. My 4 year old is now 11 years old and is a JO level 8 competitive gymnast. I loved the family feel so much that I even decided to be part of the family. I started as a recreational coach and am now an Xcel team coach. EGA has become our home away from home. If you are trying to decide on a gymnastics gym give EGA a try! You wont be disappointed...we sure werent!
