This is my grandsons go-to park to play since its only three blocks from his home. It is also host to barbeques, birthday parties and other events. It is also a beautiful place to walk as well as sled when the snow falls.

Ive lived around a mile from Perkins for most of my life, so it has tons of fond memories throughout most of my life. However, I have to say, its gone rather downhill. Amongst the camps and daycare groups that go to the park daily, theres also firecrackers set off on the basketball court and needles melted to benches. Id overall say it is safe to go to, during daylight hours of course. Enough parents and childcare people seem to find it safe enough of course, though it being the only decent park in a rather wide radius certainly does help its case.

Facility was nice and clean. However, it wouldve been helpful to know in advance that there was no fans of any kind. It was like a sauna in there.

A nice little park, very scenic and peaceful. Has a cute little playground for kiddos and lots of shady spots to picnic. My dad relayed fond memories of sledding here as a kid! Be forewarned, though, at least at the time of posting, none of the womens restroom stalls lock!

Love to take my dog n my 3 Grand kids there to play plus other things thats fun to do there.more in the warm weather is the best time to enjoy the sun .

Nice park in the middle of town. Pickle ball on the tennis court in the mornings. Great place to walk your dogs.

#sledding #greatsledding This park is beautiful! I played here growing up, and now my kids get to enjoy it. It has an excellent playground and some wonderful hills for excellent sledding. A nice pathway and the Apple trees museum is right there, too. Places to picnic are abundant.

It is a wonderful place. One thing that needs improvement is the lighting outside of the shelter house and parking lot !

Beautiful green space. Shelter 3 was clean and large w kitchen. Perfect for family reunion.

One of my favorite parks. Shelters you can rent. Restrooms. Playground. Tennis courts. Gazebo, hills for sledding, pretty walking bridges.

Nice park..but... There used to be swings for adults that werent those butt cheek squeezing straps and a merry-go-round. Young couples(& young at heart) would come to the park and swing and ride in the evenings. They are gone and the young couples dont come anymore. Neither do the young at heart.

Its quaint, has a bathroom, playground, and pokestops.

A beautiful and well maintained park. The playground equipment choices are varied. The walking trails are well maintained. The picnic shelters, both indoors and outdoors, are clean and well taken care of.

Love this park! Go there every day in the warm seasons. There is so much to do. Large playground, swings, bathrooms in the summer, covered picnic area, benches, lots of room to walk and explore!

This is a great Park if you just want to take your kids to play. Or even if you want to get out and just go for a walk in the park. There is sometimes a few rowdy kids or they will be using profanity.

Best park in the area, especially for kids. Shaded at all times of the day for the main play area, nice area to walk, a gazebo to eat under.
