Its really good! Kids have fun. We go with a homeschool group we are a part of. Like all roller skating/bowling alleys, etc. its run down so it feels it...in the bathroom, laces on the skates, but the memories it brings back are timeless and enjoyable!

Grew up skating circles in this place. My brothers and I went so often that we had our own skates. Overnight lock-in skating was awesome. My brothers and I lived for bicentennial quarter night! Grandma came by the house everyday after work to give us the bicentennial quarters. Fun place to have birthday parties. Generations of GREAT memories!!

This place was Gr8! Good skating music, clean environment. If I could give you a higher rating i would.

This is the most horrible skating place for kids. Smells so bad from the carpet that hasnt been replaced in about 40+ years. It really needs to bull dozed and start over with a new improved nice place for kids to go and skate.

Great environment for young and old alike!The staff maintains a safe and clean environment for all ages. The rink is large and clear of debris. There is a large snack area which can seat several dozen people.The bathrooms could use some extra attention at times. But overall its to be understood that with many young kids it can be difficult to maintain.

I enjoy the atmosphere and the staff was friendly but could use new skates and more sizes I paid for speed skates and they didnt have my size which was fine but then I got a pair of regular skates and wheel fell off but then I got a second pair and the shoe strings were entirely too short but the third pair time was a charm! I would definitely come again..but with my own pair of skates

Nice spot to skate, smaller rink but the floors are smooth and the staff is nice.

We took our Granddaughter from Georgia here for something to do. Went in the bathroom and there is feces smeared in the stall. Not dramatic but kids will be kids and its obvious hygiene is not top on the list. The floor needs to be waxed. It really needs to be modernized for todays kids and I could see it doing better. They are still holding on to doing the Hokie Pokie. I would just add wifi and just modernize things for savvy kids while staying family friendly.

The place needs to be renovated. Fun environment but not amazing customer service. We will be back though;)

Great place to go to during the day on weekends! Just dont go at night REALLY busy just gpt back and it was fun

Love the family atmosphere and the fact that they instill rules that make me as a mother comfortable with having my kids frequently visit.

Its ok to take your kids here but dont drop them off bc they will not be watched!! I walked into 12 and 13 year olds making out in corners and kids fighting and lots of bullying going on here too it has really changed since my parents use to drop us off here!! I think they need to invest in some security here now!!

Me my girlfriend and some other friends all went on Saturday. It was okay but when paying to get the lady took 20 bucks from me. I gave her 20 bucks because I was paying for 2 (she said it was 7 bucks a pop) and I turn to tell my friend to hold my bad to I could get my cash back and she said “6 bucks and a couple cents” and I said ok.. but I gave u 20 bucks that’s enough for both of us, and she denied it and we argued and argued until finally I had to borrow some money from my gf. But other than that it was great! Going back Saturday

Our Church has been doing a Church wide Skating since the early 1970s. They have always been amazing to work with us and to provide a Great safe atmosphere for our kids. We love coming! The Staff has always worked with us every time.

No wheelchair accessibility and the interior could use an update, but the kids had a blast and they cant wait to go back.- T6 complete paraplegic mother of two.

Terrible facilities and smells of smoke. You will be turned away if you have any rips in your jeans. Allegedly ripped jeans ruins skates, but I’ve never been to a skating center with this rule.

We went on their Thursday - Family Night 7-10 pm skating session period. There were maybe about a dozen skaters or so.It was indeed $6.50 for our entire family of 4, plus $ 1.75 ? each for skates.As far as the skates - yes the skates were used, but we had no problems - they worked fine.All in all we did have a great time for the price - for sure.We will definitely return.

Roll-a-bout is old and needs updating. It looks the same as when I was growing up in the 90s. There is a smaller rink that is for learning and it is concrete and slick. It would probably be worse to fall on than the regular rink. The bathrooms are also concrete with no doors. Everything looks old. However, it is still a reliable and cheap place to have a birthday party. Id just suggest using the bathrooms before coming.

Polite, friendly great place for kids to roll out some energy! Sunday skate was reasonably priced! Kids had a blast!

The place is great for hanging out with friends and learning to skate. The staff is super friendly and theres also a beginners skating area, mostly used for children. The skates there are a little worn out but they still work fine.

Id love to go on a regular basis with my girls

It was well cleaned up and they have food and games it like an arcade so pretty

I guess Im just spoiled by the super nice rinks I grew up with? Its an ok place. Good for families. The small kids area (floor, rails) needs to be painted. The bathrooms need paint and deep cleaning. The carpet at concessions is horrible. My tennis shoes were actually sticking to the carpet. Its needs cleaning BAD. No straws or lids are given at concessions.

I have been going here to rollerblade since I was probably 6 years old, Im 15 now and nothing has changed. The music is fun to skate to and its easy to make friends here.

I forgot how good a workout skating can be! Great music and fun for the whole family, the skates need to be updated but other than that it was just as I remembered as a kid!

Kind of a plain rink. chris was lovely though. gave us some helpful tips to stay on our feet and brightened our night.

Me and my best friend have skated at roll a bout since we where in our teens we r n our 40s now the owner Tracy is awesome and a great person and friend we love this place always clean and everyone that works there is polite

We only come for kids birthday parties. They kids seem to enjoy it but thats it. Not much too do other than skate. One video game(Ms PacMan & Galaga) and one pinball machine and several claw machines and thats about it. Not much for adults to do but l like said the kids seem to enjoy it.

Place definitely needs a makeover after all these years.

The kids always have a great time there. The staff is always very nice. But honestly, that has got to be the same carpet from the 80s. Its so gross lol And my middle age spread would appreciate a little more space in the booth chairs :-D

This place hasnt changed a bit! I remember coming here as a kid! It was so much fun. Now I bring my son to experience the things I did as a child.

Needs a lot of updating. Some of the music isnt what I would consider kid friendly. Bathrooms only have curtains on the stalls and those barely cover the door. The rental skates are likely the same skates they started with almost 30 years ago. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the specials are really good deals. My family of 5 can skate for under $20 sometimes.

Older facility. Staff was less than friendly and this was for a bday party. The mom did a great job, but when you have to play music on your cell phone bc the employee is too busy burning popcorn to notice, you may need to have more than one employee in the building.

It is a blast! - this was my initial thought first time skaing in 30 years. Last time I was here had to have been early to mid 80s. It is a good family environment. However the criticisms that it needs an update is more than fair. Front steps are a hazard. The times I have gone I have witnessed people having to carry those in wheel chairs and other mobility devises up the stairs. And last time I visited, my boys had to go to the restroom... Only the cleasing power of fire would suffice as step one in this portion of the reno.

My kids love it here. Very affordable, nice staff, the only thing I would suggest is updating the skates. They still have the same ones they did when I was a kid and use to go there.

I recently visited this place for a party, and as a cancer patient in a wheelchair, I struggled to even get in. They have no wheelchair ramp and I had to be CARRIED up the steps. The floor was disgusting and the bathroom of course wasnt handicap accessible. I would recommend staying clear of this place.

3 stars because once when I was there, there was a fight. Once when I got fries the worker asked me if i wanted seasoning and I said yes, when he put on the seasoning it looked there was no seasoning (its also frozen)

A girl had a hole the size of a penny and they wouldnt let her skate. Old place, a worker tried to make me pay 2 more dollars then I should of, I over heard that he gets ton of complaints, still works there.

I went here a few days ago for a birthday party. I have bone cancer and cannot walk, so I am confined to a wheelchair. When we got there we realized that there was no ramp and I had to be CARRIED up the stairs. Inside the bathroom was disgusting and there was no handicap bathroom. The food was microwaved and expensive. This place is not handicap friendly or up to code for the ADA.

Major updates needed. The carpet feels like food and drinks have been spilled there and was never cleaned up. At least the kids have fun while there.

The other reviews have a bunch of good points l. It does need some updating. And some of the music isnt what I would want my kids listening to, but the same could be said about whats on TV. But where else can you go for $6 and have a good time?

Love this place other than the no head phones.its not posted at the front in the rules.and not everyone likes the music that is played.if you are a pro skater like me skating for 26 years I should be able to listen to my music.im not hurting anyone.i will keep going to Andy Hawkins rink SKATELAND USA NORTH where real skaters go and can whear there head phones.also where the floor grips because it has roll- on like a floor is suppossed to have.

Rollabout is an ice skating place where you can go and have fun with your friends you can even go there on your birthday and play cool machine gets there you can also get popcorn pickles ice cream.

Plays terrible music I mean horrible. Does not play requested songs. I requested 3 songs and none of them where played within the 2 hours I was there. Worst 6$ dollars I’ve ever spent in my life... do not go on a Friday night...

Cant wear head phones ,so real skaters dont go here.their floor has no roll-on.i suggest going to skateland north or west they take care of the floor and if you want to listen to your head phones you can.what I dont understand is while there kids were throwing a ball around the floor but I cant listen to my music? Ive skated for 26 years and I know what Im doing and Im not going to hit anyone.and the older lady at the snack bar is very rude and yells at kids.she needs to either stay in the snack bar or be floor gaurd she cant be both especially when she is beimg very hateful to children.i had a blast untill the staff got hateful

A good place to take your kids. Its clean, smooth track, plant of space on the sides. Theres a concession stand with snacks and drinks. The music can be a little loud, but its a skating rink so thats expected.

Cheap prices and cheap food and drinks. Cant go back outside once youve entered or you have to pay again to re-enter. Bring your own skates if you have them. A lot of children without adult supervision!!!!!

All ima say is.. It is a good place for family.. But its time for a remodel..

Been taking my kids for 8 years with no issues but now Wednesdays are busy ish nights and my daughters iPhone was stolen out of her backpack on 11/7/18 and from what I have found out it happens there alot now since tucker street people started coming but with the lose of a 700 dollar phone makes it our last trip

This place has been in need of upgrading and new skates for years. It is the same as it was when i was a child and Im 40 now. The only upgrade Ive noticed since taking my own kids there is there are doors on the womens bathroom stalls now and the carpet on the half wall against the rink has been replaced. An update and new skates would make this place an even better place to visit.

We love Roll-A-Bout! Its very old but it meets the needs for any skate night. They have great deals for families on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

The place looks run down and they are not always good about playing song requests but I always have fun here.

This is THE WORST skating rink I’ve ever been to. Employees are nice, but the people who are skating are reckless and nobody was listening to the employees. Some kids skated full speed and knocked my friend over then later knocked me over badly. Then they didn’t even tell us we needed to keep our tickets and we didn’t have them with us and it wasted 20 min of our paid skating time. Then they kept telling everyone to get off the floor and doing “Special” dumb stuff like the hokey pokey and couples skating and wasted more of out PAID skating time. Then to make it even worse some kids went through our bags and STOLE $25 out of MY SISERS WALLET THAT WAS WITH OUR STUFF. I’ve been to other skating rinks and they’ve been 100x better than this. NEVER GO HERE. Unsafe. Smells like dirty feet.

I came here for my nieces birthday party. Absolutely disgusting. My shoes stuck to the carpet; the bathroom was so disgusting I had to take the baby outside and change her in the car. Also, no doors on the bathroom stalls. My nephews rented skates fell apart, and mine were not the size I asked for. Half the party never got their pizza or drinks. All of the staff except for the lady at the front door were surly. We were told to clear out early to make way for another party. Terrible experience.

Such a nasty place to have a birthday party. Carpets are sticky and skates are so wore out.

Weds. morning - carpet and bathrooms are clean. Minimal (no doors on stalls) but clean and sufficient. Kids enjoyed the morning session with very few people there.

Social norms .....lets not get to far away from them. Boys chasing girls, and girls chasing boys. (Oh to be a kid again )....

Cheap fun, gets overcrowded, snack bar is reasonably priced, you should bring your own roller skates, however they do provide them.
