If you love the outdoors, Alamance Outdoors Sportsmans Club is the place for you and your family. Bobby Kimbrell, a retired NC fisheries biologist, passionately manages the property. The wild turkey population is strong and growing. The healthy deer herd has several nice mature bucks with plenty of year round food sources. Duke forest, which prohibits hunting, borders AOSC and acts as a wildlife refuge. There are 3 waterfowl impoundments. One consists of flooded timber for wood ducks. Wild quail can often be heard calling in the woodlots. The fishing is fantastic offering bass, crappie, sunfish and hybrid stripped bass!Children are a priority here. Every member fully supports the upcoming young hunters and the members here have a strong bond. The amenities are the best Ive seen for a hunting club. My family enjoys coming here to just get away.
