Went for the first time after hearing it had a nice bowling alley there (been looking forward to bowling for awhile now). The parking lot was crowded but manageable because of the popular Hucks Harbor water park. The bowling alley was nicer and larger than I thought it would be. Masks are encouraged, and social distancing etc (every other lane used, cleaning areas after use) were nice to see. Prices were reasonable and the staff were friendly. Ill go again for bowling, and to further explore Fun City.

This place was sooo much fun! We was there on the 4th of July this year. We thought it was going to extremely packed, but it wasn’t that bad really! They have GIANT pizza for reasonable prices!! Yummy food and drinks and love the tiki hut for some adult time for $10 this place rocked!!! We can’t wait to make another trip out there hopefully again this summer!! I had lost my engagement ring and didn’t realize it till we was down the road heading back to Illinois called right away and they went out and found it for me!! Thank GOD! I definitely highly recommend this place for the WHOLE FAMILY!!!

Kids had so much fun!

This place was awesome when I was a teen until they decided to redo the indoor section. That was such an awful mistake it’s pointless to even consider going during the cold months. I haven’t been back since.Just referring to water park. They have other fun stuff too like go karts, arcade, and laser tag.

We will absolutely not be wasting our money at this hotel again! The room was disgustingly dirty, dirty laundry on the floor and trash. The room was not cleaned at all. (I would not let my kids take their shoes off!) We got a family room with 2 queen beds and a bunk bed and 1 of the queen beds was broken. Springs broke and very uncomfortable. If it wasn’t for the kids we would have left instantly. Room service did come clean the room after I went and complained. It was a horrible experience all together! I would not even give it 1 star review but it wouldn’t post otherwise!

We were on vacation and decided to stop by. The waterpark wasnt open but we didnt plan on swimming. They have a bowling alley and go karts. Hardly anyone was there and it was dark inside. They have LOTS of games - more fun for little kids.

Its got a nice big arcade and lots over things to keep you entertained all day

The day started out great we had lunch then went swimming. It was when we came into the arcade that problems began. There was a woman filming my boys from one of the tables. When confronted by me she informed me it was her first amendment right to do so. Security came and said they would not ask her to leave that she had the right to film. I understand her rights but they have rights on private property and should have asked her to leave. I’m not comfortable with an establishment that allows strangers to film other people’s children.

Been there on a few occasions to go swimming. Ive always had a fun time. I highly recommend.

Fun for the whole family at a good price. Inside kids play pool and lazy river. Outside water slides, lazy river and a separate full size pool. They also have a large arcade and indoor go kart track with karts for large and small children.

Waterpark was a blast and all the lifeguards I came across were friendly. Kids enjoyed the huge pizza at the restaurant inside the facility. Arcade was fun but the customer service at the prize counter was completely mediocre. Someone needs to do some serious reevaluating on their employees. The girl doing the counter was completely and utterly rude rolling her eyes at everything my children would say, I asked if there was a manager working that I could talk to and she said “nah they ain’t working” (great grammar). If this was in fact true it is not acceptable at all to have zero managers in this large of a complex. I would of loved to speak to one about her but since this “state of the art” facility doesn’t have any working I guess this is the best next thing to do if I have a complaint. Someone teach this girl some manners. I wish I could of caught a name to complain but of course she didn’t have one on. This occurred Sunday July 12th around 7 pm. Red hair and a attitude.

My almost 2 year old had a great time at Ballocity and the indoor water park. As others have mentioned, the indoor park is better for young children. The arcade needs a lot of improvement. On multiple occasions either the card reader or the games themselves wouldnt work. We were pretty disappointed with the arcade.

I took my granddaughters and they loved it. We had a blast. They are 4 years old and there was so much for them to do.

I went with my family and we all had a blast. They have a couple of choices of things to do. There is swimming and Go karts aswell as a bowling lane and there is a bar for the adults and a whole gaming center. They also have a gym area for the kids to release some if that energy.

Theres a water park with outside and inside pools, some slides and a lazy river. It gets crowded and they are open during the pandemic. The service is ok and the food is hot dogs and so, beer selection is poor.

Busy, crowded, dirty, and overpriced. Youll spend 100 dollars there, use it in 20 minutes, and then get prizes worth 10-20 dollars at the most. There was a half-full beer left in the middle of the kids arcade section. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I like going here, but I wish that they would offer a special discount bracelet for those who literally just want to lay out, and tan at the small adult pool! I would come here more often if they offered this, but instead I keep my money, and lay out in my yard! This type of discounted bracelet would work for parents who arent taking part in any of the water slides, as well! Maybe have certain bracelets scan to open only certain sections!?

Fun bowling. Could only find one heavy ball that fit my fingers. Courteous helpful staff even when our lane jammed a couple times.

The arcade and go carts are amazing

We had a couple extra kids with us for the weekend and wanted to let them run out some energy on a cold day. 7 kids (ages 2-8), 2 adults... played for 3.5 hours, went out for supper and then went back for another 1.5 hours. They had a blast! But the adults were a little sore the next day

This entire place rocks! Fun water park, amazing arcade with an indoor go-kart track, and decent casino; where could you go wrong?! The hotel is nice, as well. There is plenty to do for all ages. Unfortunately it is about all there really is to do in Burlington, IA.

Fun place to take kids. Last time i was there There was a raccoon by the floates works Made sure he was released safely. Swim is fun and big.

Drove three hrs to find out neither in door or outdoor water was open. Many of the machines wouldnt read our cards.

Great fun for whole family!

It’s a pretty fun place!! There’s a decent amount of variety in the games, and it’s spread out enough that it doesn’t seem like it would be too overcrowded on busier days. I do like that the tickets are digital vs physical, as it makes it easier to keep track of them!! A few of the games seemed a little old/worn down, though, and felt like they could use some TLC to function properly again. (Looking at you, skee ball machine closest to the laser tag entrance.)

All around awesomeness, the kids loved it, & the food was *** the sports betting & Casino for adult life is a super bonus all packaged into one convenient place !

Was here a few years ago as a family vacation with 2 smaller children. Price was just right and all the activities were fun and appropriate. Loved that they also had a indoor small kids pool area. Was able to avoid being in the sun too long and older kids who dont care. This place is a one stop place, didnt have to venture out to find the next thing to do.

This is a world class facility that people take for granted. Its nice. Its affordable. Its modern. Its fun. Its the whole package. If you havent been there before and you are thinking of taking your family for a stay, the answer is - YES! Its worth it.

Fun place! Go Karts are a blast and so was the laser tag. The flight and roller coaster simulators were kinda boring and short. Overall, I would recommend it... for families and even as a date for fun-loving folks.

Great place to bring the kids and all the games and go karts, lazer tag, and jungle gym where all affordable and fun but the only thing lacking is services, girl in food court roll their eyes at you and play nose goes because they don’t want to take a customer, and also they come to talk to guys in go kart so your waiting in line to pay because they are to busy talking!!

Lots of little kids running around. If that doesnt bother you then its not too bad. They have a huge selection of games and the food is pretty good too. The drink selection is pretty good, you should be able to find something you like here. It is also very convenient to get to from most of the hotels in the area. Plus, there is a lot more to do right inside this complex.

Water park admission is a great value for all the fun! We drove an hour and a half to visit and kids would have stayed until close but 5 hours in the water was enough time for us parents.Couple places where we saw no life guards in sight of the lazy river but there were plenty of guards everywhere else.Warning - 300 pound individual weight limit on water slides. LolAll the activities inside were a blast, too. Pricey, but that is to be expected at this kind of venue.

This place is really fun. They have a lot to do, and it is great family fun. If you want to do everything, it will not be a cheap trip. However, this place is great for a nice weekend getaway or day trip.

Great place to take the family. I usually spend around 150.00 on games and rides. Its really not that badly priced. I think the food was a little pricey and they wanted 2.75 for a bottle of water but other than that its a wonderful place to visit. Probably better in summer so you can go outside and use the pool.

Its a fun place! I dont like that you have to step on a scale every time before you go down a slide. Their snacks are stupid expensive. If you go in before 12 two days a week it only costs five dollars a person. Really fun place I would just say to bring your own snacks!

Funcity just is not the same, the prices have stayed the same since opening but a lot of the machines dont work correctly and have been there since day one. Kids had fun bowling and playing go karts though.

The venue was fine, the staff however, not so helpful. We were told over the phone we could get a discounted pizza with our birthday package. When it came time to order the pizza, there was no discount and the staff was not accomodating at all. Apparently you have to order the pizza at the rotunda??? Super confusing.

Had a very relaxing time on the lazy river with my wife.

We went to the arcade and kids had a blast. They got to play games for quite awhile, machines were easy to use with the card system. Great time.

Perfect for families with 7 year old or under kids. It isnt overwhelming but a good day out. Indoor would be geared for 5 or under. Loved Ballocity for our little guys too

Weve visited many times. They will nickle and dime you (each separate area costs and most arcade games are $1), but they have a good deal for active duty military. That said, many things to do.

Its a great place to take the family and have fun. We had ice cream and it was out of this world. The service was great , fact friendly and knew their stuff.

Fantastic place for kids and adults alike. They have something for everyone and the place is very well run. Employees where very patient with the kids.

Only gave one star because I couldnt give no stars.... Not breastfeeding friendly AT ALL. Security was called on my friend for nursing her baby after being brought a towel and told to cover up, by a manager!!! Our babies should be able to eat when and where they are hungry!! Dont like it? Dont look. Next time that manager wants to eat, someone should bring her a towel and tell her to cover herself while she eats!!

A great place to bring your family for an indoor and outdoor water park, go karts, bowling ally, arcade, laser tag, and virtual reality rides. Nice casino for adults. Even a hotel for just adults 21 and over that was just remodeled. Restaurants on site. We live close by so we even just run up for the day to do the go karts or water park for a few hours. Fun for all ages!

To have fun costs money, but if you have some change hanging out in your pocket its a great place for kiddos of any age.

Love to go play a game of LazerTag or play the Arcade games, with or without the grandkids. It would be 5 stars if they maintained their machines better. I know they take a beating on a daily basis, but with the money being brought in, to have games that dont work or have missing/broken equipment along with employees that have to be chased down in order to get help or a refund is TOTALLY unacceptable. Starting to look a little run rundown. But we still go.

Come here at least once a year during the summer. Really enjoy using the spa. Rules state that kids are to accompanied by a parent or guardian. There are always a ton of kids in the spa and they are never accompanied by anyone. They try swimming in the spa and always turn the jets on non stop. When I pay money I want to enjoy myself not have children ruin my experience. Spa should be only for adults. Ridiculous!

We were visiting family in burlington and thought this place would be fun for a day with the kids...we had a good time my suggestion is get there early or through the week because it gets packed quick! I think its unacceptable to weigh people to go on the water rides especially in front everyone i seen a 12 yr old girl or so crying because they weighed her in front everyone and she was insecure for being bigger smh that is only thing i didnt like

FunCity is everything that you need it to be. From laser tag, to video games, to skeetball and indoor go carts, you can spend at least 2 hrs here. Happy hour prices at the Bugaloo bar were fantastic, too!

My family of 14 and i go to pzazz hotel and takenin all things fun city every summer. weve been attending annually for i think 8 years now. there is truly something for everyone to enjoy from bowling and laser tag to hucks harbor and ballocity!pictures: me participating in the sky city attraction.

We attended a birthday party at Fun City today in the water park area, and it was underwhelming at best. Tickets to the water park were $8, and if you wanted to go in the other area adjacent to the park it was an additional $10. My sister-in-law spent $40 renting a room in that area, which turned out to be a roped off area with no privacy. The only spot to buy food was the concession stand close by. I got a burger and it was the worst hamburger Ive ever had in my life. I realize its a concession stand, but have a little pride in your food. Everything was really expensive for what you get and not a quality product. We spent close to $50 for the afternoon. The workers werent friendly. I could go on, but you get the picture. My advice to families wanting to have a good time out is to forgo Fun City, order some pizza, and go to the park. Trust me, it will be a more memorable time, less headache, and much cheaper.
