I recently purchased 2 paintings for my home from the Studio Shop Gallery. Julie was terrific to work with. She really tried to get a sense of my taste and budget and showed me several paintings, all of which were lovely. The shop suggested I try them out in our home to see them in the room they will live and with different light during the day. It was a great way to fall in love with the paintings. In the gallery I was having a difficult time deciding but once I got them all home it became obvious which one belonged in my spaces. Julie and her team came an got the ones we didnt chose.Julie really knows her stuff when it comes to contemporary, local art. I trust her to hunt down new and exciting pieces and artists. I first met the staff at the Studio Shop when I was doing some framing almost 20 years ago! Over the years I have purchased a number of paintings and continued to have pieces framed. They even come to the house to hang the art. The shop is a lovely space and is a pleasure to visit even when not shopping.
