You wouldnt even know this breathtakingly beautiful Park and the plants at the pawn near three tree point Im even existed back behind the luxury homes with sleeping breathtaking views!! Unless you are a true local of the neighborhood and area the only way you would even know this park is from the published public location on Google Maps! I have only ever seen one other living soul in the entire Park from the top of the point and crested Bluff all the way down to the Waterfront one other time in the past 14 years! If you visit often it will quickly feel like your own private park and playground, do enjoy!

A hidden little park trail. The stairs down to the beach are closed off though, so its more of a short hike loop.

Eagle Landing Park is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! Its located away from a one-way road and 2 dead end roads with no sign cuz there are private properties everywhere. Dont waste your time searching for it. It looks like its in someones backyard. Information one do not want to be mistaken for a prowler and get shot. LoL!

You can only go as far as the stairs. It is a beautuful walk through the forest but dont think you are going all the way to the water. Shame on those who are further deteriorating the bluff by circumventing the stairs that are put of service.

You can only follow this trail up to the point where the city has blocked it off. Due to a recent landslide the existing staircase down to the waters edge is no longer traversable. You can even really bypass it and continue on. You can still get a 15 minute (one way) hike in through beautiful coastal forest before the barricade. I have certainly seen eagles overhead as well!

(1) don’t follow Google Maps down 150th; take 149th to get to trailhead. (2) nice short downhill walk through woods to stairs. Stairs down to shore are blocked off but when trees don’t have leaves there’s a nice view of ocean. Nice stroll if you live nearby, but not as interesting as Seahurst Park.

What a fantastic view of the whole area, you can see Des Moines, Quartermaster Harbor, Bremerton, and when they are shooting off fireworks, even Seattle and Tacoma. Great sunsets too!

It used to be well maintained place with stairs going down to the shore. Now the stairs are broken and nobody cares to fix it. The trail went wild.

Currently out of service due to possible land slide. If its not taken care off soon, it could be lost course. Please repair the steps before its too late.

I used to come here nearly every day for a relaxed hike and a beach lounge. After a landslide, the staircase to the beach was closed and it remains so. Still a very nice walk, but pale in comparison to the glory it once held.

A good single Trail, but you cannot get down to the water. There has been a landslide, and they blocked stairs off about three-quarters of the way to the water.

Unfortunately, this nice little park has had some activities that are not family oriented. Plus the stairs to the waterare destroyed from a storm a few years back. Dont know if the city will ever make a priority to fix.

Park has a nice walking trail for easy to moderate hiking. The farther down you go the more elevation gain coming back out. Very small parking lot and at the bottom it has been closed off due to erosion access, so there is only about a half mile to a mile of tail accessible with no beach access.

Cool park but the stairs down to the water are still closed from a 2014 landslide. Theres still a short forest path accessible where bald eagles supposedly hang out.

Very unusual park. See website. Nice winding trail leads to very long stairway - like 279 steps! Close walk to Seahurst park beach. Very sadly, a large, beautiful carving was stolen off its permanent display/ base in Feb 2014.

Really nice tucked away spot, its unfortunate city spent the money for the stair, knowing hillside was eroding, only to have to close it to the public!

This is a nice place for a walk in the trees but unfortunately most of the park is closed due to landslide danger. The upper trail is open but the stairs and trail access to the water remain closed. Most of the scienic views at this park are in areas that are now closed.

The walk back up from the beach is very good exercise. A nice trail winds through the woods prior to the embankment.

Reflecting the City of Buriens minimal investment in, or interest in, outdoor spaces for the general public, this park is essentially closed. There remains about a quarter mile of trail to the beginning of a chained and gated stairway that used to lead down to a public beach. This shouldnt be a surprise to anyone, as the majority of wealthy town residents who pull the strings would like you to stay away from the open spaces that they ostensibly own, also including Lake Burien and Three Tree Point. While other nearby communities strive to make open spaces more accessible (Des Moines, even Tukwila with its Green River corridor, come to mind), Burien wants to become more like a gated community. Stay away-you are not wanted, is what this should suggest to you, person who doesnt own a home here. In light of this, why should you visit and spend your money in the cute little town center that town boosters so desperately want to see thrive?
