Great park. Stopped in during a layover on an Alaska eBike Store gravity team trip. Nice bit of refreshing wilderness inside the city. Small amounts of arsenic may be in the soil but that shouldnt spoil the scenery.
First time here Beautiful place, so much graffiti on monument signs and treasure playground. There is receptacles for trash, no one uses this. There is a Community Center right next to it and have a Gigantic dumpster. Sad to say. Dottie Harper Park, is just another home not for the community but for someone else recollection. Nice, but not maintain by no one not even the community.
Its pretty clean. Not very often do you see homeless people. Its small and kind of an adorable park.
The Dottie Harper Park, is a basic park that is a great place to relax throughout the Summer to seek a lil shade.TheRealInt ernetMan
I love this tiny park. The trees are magnificent!
Quiet with 4 other people in a shaded glade type park
The trees are what makes this park enchanting.
This is a magical park in the heart of Burien. My four kids (4 - 12) love the forest below the playground, and the slide they can take to get there! The annual Arts-a-Glow is a fantastic festival put on in the fall at Dottie Harper, and turns it even more into a magical fairyland. While there are individuals who sleep against the house during the day, we have never been approached or made to feel unsafe.
I like very good park
Much cleaner than in the past less a bum or two who leave thier trash.
This is a wonderful woodsy park
Beautiful park, lush vegitation.
Its really pretty, and so much fun to play at with my son. Very close to the parks department. Generally pretty safe, but from time to time very seedy homeless people will hang around the back deck of the Dottie Harper house within sight and bother people.
Nice little park for a picnic.
Its small park but it is worth the stop . Lots of trails for hicking for the day and it has clean restrooms , handicap accessible and a great little playground for the kids .
Lovely little park
Wonderful park
Nice park. But close to the street so not great for younger kids that may attempt to wonder. I think there is a nearby homeless camp because alot of homeless roaming around. But they are polite, just worry about possible drug usage. Havent had a problem yet, just a concern which is why I havent given 5 stars. Still a great park.
My son loves this park. It has so many different things to offer.
The first month I moved here I got jumped in this park. It was late at night, but still, be careful.
It was great until the thunder, lightning and downpour hit and canceled the arts a glow event tonight
Quiet mostly. Beautiful landscape and lots of trees.
What a gem of an Urban park in Burien. Great for a cool stroll though the forest of trees, or fun for the kids with a nice playground.
This place was great for the Glow Festival!
Best time to go with children is before lunch time.
Its such a nice slice of nature in the middle of the city.
It would be more fun if there werent as many homeless living there
Lights and lanterns festival in Burien . Very pretty. Lots of fun and families. Light up costumes. Beautiful setting amongst the trees. Free parking at community center next to the park. People created some of their own lanterns. There were classes for making the lanterns. Two dragon puppets walked through the park with 3 puppeteers each moving the head, body, and tail. Very nice. Great for families.
Cute little park with enough playground equipment to keep little obes busy and enough greenery that they feel like they are exploring the park
Love the big trees , feels like being in the woods
Calm and quiet spot to draw or read or have lunch.
This park and the skate park were great a decade ago. Now quality is rapidly declining.
Serene, shady cool on a hot day and peaceful.
There is a pokemon gym here and it is a good spot
Arts AGlow lantern festival!
Beautiful park! Very clean, and well taken care of! Nice place to take the kids to play, and eat lunch.
Could be cleaner and to many homeless kids unfortunately
Nice, quiet, shade, peaceful
Had an awesome time... @ the glow light festival
The kids playground is good for five and under. The woods are good for another 15 minutes of free play. But it does seem to have a sketchy crowd that hangs out (lives?) there.
The playground was nice and the art was cool. It has a lovely wooded area, but there were definitely a homeless presence. I saw a guy with a cat, and I felt sorry for the cat.
Ok during the day but there are many homeless people that go there also.
Nice part to play
For Pokemon games New York chicken from where from here
My daughter loves this park
No parking, super small
I loved it!
Great lil park
Great fun with my son
Cute little urban park.
Very tranquil.
We love the arts a glow festival that happens here annually
Beautiful place
Very cool.
Clean. Safe playground equipment. Sunny, but lots of shade on the edges.
Love it
No words
The fact that the park is close to the street is scary. Plus you have to park by the community center and walk to it up a hill. The other day we were there, we found a homeless man sleeping.
Just like all or most of Burien parks theres no running water or restrooms
Arsenic in the soil, homeless people camped out there right near the playground. Do not bring your kids here
Cant believe I hadnt visited earlier
Nice little park
Great place for a walk
