Me and my wife booked a private party for my daughter . This was such a smart decision, we had a guest of about 50 and they all had a blast !!. Pizza was awesome . Price was awesome for a private party. Two front girls Kyle and Haley were just awesome. Thank you guys for making this birthday awesome for my little one and wife

I took my kids and some of their friends here on a Sunday and it was a lot of fun. It wasnt overly crowded or anything, about would I would expect.The facility itself is kind of old but I actually liked the whole old school, 80s feel of the place. All of the employees we interacted with were nice and helpful.I saw some reviews on here complaining about safety but I didnt notice any safety concerns while we were there. They always have two referees skating around the rink to make sure everyone is being safe and to check on people if they fall down.It seemed like every time someone fell down one of them was right there to help them up and make sure they were okay. My 9-yr old and 6-yr old sons were skating around by themselves the whole time and I never felt worried about their safety.They also do some different games and stuff for the kids (and adults) and then give out prizes. Things like the hokey pokey, Cha-cha Slide, Elimination game, etc.Overall I thought it was a good experience and wed definitely go back again.

We go on Thursday nights. Not busy and cheaper. It is nice. They have some video games that dont ever seem to work but other than that I have no complaints

Worst place I’ve been ever. Their website says it opens at 12 on Saturdays, and when we walked in, the employees were rude and didn’t seem to care that their website was wrong. One lady in particular came up to us and talked to us. She knew the website was wrong, but she just told us to leave and had a terrible attitude. I’m not coming back to that skate country for a while, and y’all should as well.

The surface of the rink is nice, but it’s small. The main problem here is that there is apparently no referee, so there are a lot of kids standing on the rink, skating across the middle, even skating in the wrong direction. I saw several accidents caused by this kind of behavior while I was there on a Friday night. This makes me nervous to go back. There was also a fight going on at one point that was just ignored by the employees; a customer had to finally go break it up.

My experience here in Skate Country was wonderful! Even though we cant go to the skating place anymore, I can recall some memories. When we came in, the staff would always say Good evening! Or on some occasions Good afternoon One thing that I didnt like was that when a child trips, the guy/girl in the referee shirt wouldnt come to help. He/She would come on some occasions. Anyways, my experience here were nice. ️️️️️

Kiddos enjoyed it. We came here for a birthday party. First time here. Everyone was super friendly. We rented a couple of the skate mates ($5 each) to help my kids skate. Price to skate here was affordable. Definitely recommend this place.

Nice clean well run place. Clientele are respectable. . prices very reasonable. The staff work to make things go smoothly.

Skating rink is great. A Lot of the arcade game were out of order.

Very fun, sometimes I will find myself being tripped over by someone who is going very fast, or someone going very slow. I was never apologized to. A few times I went there the people who worked there were very mean, some were not. I asked them to play certain songs once or twice but both times they laughed and said it was dumb.

It is family friendly and will almost always play the songs you want. The skaters are respectful and they help anyone if they are hurt.

If I could give this place a negative zero I would. My kids came here to skate. While my daughter was entering the bathroom she fell and bust her head, due to water being on the floor. Call for the manager she never came . We had to walk out in order to find a manager . She asked for our info to check on things gave it to her she never called. I had to call her several times. I’m guess she was afraid of legal action . Which I was thinking about taking legal action, but then my husband said we will let God handle this. Somethings just not pursuing, besides they can’t even provide decent food or skates. Then charge you high prices like it’s an upscale place. I’m not a mean person just very transparent. I would rather drive 30/35 minutes, before we go back here .

A great place for family skating fun! Clean, well organized, and seemed safe. Everything from the entry fees to the snack bar a bit pricey so be prepared! I recommend this place for good family fun especially when the weather is wet.

We love visiting Skate Country! The music is always fun. The staff is friendly. The place is well-maintained. Our family always has a blast when we come, and our kids always beg to come back again soon!

Rude staff from the minute we walked throught the door. Staff did not make it a kid friendly or a parent friendly environment. I made sure my kids had fun kept pumping quarters in the machines and I made sure my kids had a good time but disappointed.

Its a small rink, so youre not gonna be able to move much when its crowded like on Friday nights and weekends (plus its dangerous, because kids are falling down all over the place). Still, its good exercise. Would be better if they alternated more between directions of skating. Its not great for the body when youre only turning left all the time.

This place is so simple and amazing! When you first go in the floor gives the building 80s vibes and the line is very short. Its cheap to go in and rent some skates. Its very simple because they have a dj, restrooms, water fountains, arcade games, a skating rink, a dining area, a coib exchange machine, and some lockers. Everything here is very cheap, like lockers, drinks, and games. Everyone here is so nice and the prizes you get from tickets are very entertaining. I would definitely recommend this place to some friends and family. And I would definitely return here alone or with some friends or family.

In my opinion, they should have a separate rink for the small children as otherwise is too crowded (sometimes). Other than that, the experience is great!

Skates are really comfortable! Really small skating area, cant skate backwards, and a little pricey.

Its not an arcade place, but is a stake place. If you have anything else on your mind your in the wrong place. The place has friendly staff and adequate rentals. I will go back without hesitant.

I would visit the skate country in Buford! It is the best!!! Very clean, excellent staff and you can request music that is up to date. The one in Gainesville is very dirty. They do not play good music. There are no sinks in the bathrooms to wash your hands. very nasty. Urine in bathroom floors. Very unclean. Not worth spending the $$( and we bring our own skates).

This is a real treat for me to be required by nature to sit and look after a 12 year old lady. I dont mind at all! Staff super nice and helpful. Good eats for the atmosphere. Lots of activities for all. The best treasures of all are watching the little ones learning to skate and establish their social skills. It is so darn sweet.

This place was not friendly. The workers and the owner were not friendly and not even smile at all. They were not happy or greet you. Even I wanted to buy a pair of skate for my son, the workers were rude and unhappy. Not sure why and the music was not even that great compared to other places that we have gone to. Our first time and also the last time. We walked out of there right away after staying there not even 10 minutes. Wasted $12 and very unhappy. Very disappointed!!!

Do not skate here we are here on Halloween for trunk or treat and the kids wanted to skate - they charge them full price for five minutes of skating and the older lady that’s running the window slammed her window on the children and was extremely rude to them . The kids were actually very scared of this lady and when we confronted her on our way out she acted in the same manner yelling and screaming “bye” in a sarcastic manner! and being very rude! Made the kids feel very uncomfortable and very threatening to them! Do not come here !!!

They played Sweet Caroline if you ask whats wrong with that, this is the place for you.

The service here was horrible as soon as I walked into the place with my friend she was so snarky to us for no reason when we got inside the floor was dirty and so were the machines, after skating we played the over priced games and won tickets so we went to the prize counter and waited for like 45 minutes for someone to finally come to the prize counter an there prized a labeled as each ticket is a penny and most of the prizes are 2 dollars or more...my friend had a song suggestion and she went up to the place to ask for the song and the lady looked her up and down like some kind of mean girl and when she asked for the song the lady rolled her eyes and said we dont have that song,bye

So Ive been going to Skate Country for a while now and its been an awesome place to hang out with my friends and siblings. However, today for some unknown reason they refused to play a song my 10 year old little sister requested. The girl who was in charge of the music told me it was because its either been already played or that it is inappropriate. And the song were none of the above. Kpop has been played before so I dont know why today would be any different. Its just one measly song she refused to play for no good reason. I am really disappointed in Skate Country where I thought it was an awesome place to hang out.Update: I talked to an older person about the song reccomadation problem I was having and she was no help. The song never got played. My little sister and I had fun nonetheless, but I dont know if Ill be returning or recommending this place to anybody anymore.

Where should I even begin when it comes to explaining this place.When you first go in to pay for your ticket workers are rude they don’t smile or greet you in a friendly manner. Tickets for getting in is a reasonable price over all but when you first get in it’s very hot.When you give them your ticket for skates they had attitude or rude. Rental Skates are awful they left my with a bruise after skating and give your really bad blisters so I recommend that you bring your own skates.The rental skates make your feet ache and sometimes wheels are broken.The video games are over price.Just to play a round of crossy road is a dollar plus the games rio you off and is hard to win tickets.The food prices are awful a pickle is $1.25 and a slice of pizza is $2 and you can get a whole pizza for $16 which mean they ar ripping you off.Pizza is super greasy when you lift the pizza of the parchment paper it is soaked and the crust is burnt.There pizza is the worst pizza I have ever had in my life.When I went there for a party the owner yell at us and threatened to take away for our PAYED prizes.Saying she will take them away if we didn’t stop messaging around and it was my birthday party.When you request songs on the paper the don’t even look at it and denied your song request.Also a couple times I say little boys working for them I didn’t know a 10 year old can work at a job legally However every Friday when I was younger I would go to skate country paying $11 every night for months which mean we spent makes $500 there.Even though I complained a lot about everything I do really like the places I have been to worst places but I do have a fun time with my friend as long we don’t get in trouble with the staff with happens kinda often which makes sense why I give it 3 stars.If I knew how to post picture I would post a picture of my bruise ankle from the skates and the awful blister it left on my feet.

My niece had her birthday here. All the kids had a great time... even my 2 year old was able to skate with the walkers they rent out. The employees were friendly and gave our kids a memorable experience. We will DEFINITELY be back!

My kids love skating here! Weve only been here on Saturdays, and it doesnt get TOO packed. It cost us $8 per child including skate rental. I also rented a skate-mate for $5 for my 5 year old learning to skate.They usually have Birthday parties here on the weekends but it still doesnt get overly crowded. There are small seating platforms for parents to sit, and plenty of room to walk around on the carpet.

We had a wonderful time at Skate Country! My only complaint is they ran out of skate mates (which are like walkers on wheels for kids who are learning - seriously the BEST thing ever). I did see a few kids out there who, in my opinion, did NOT need skate mates as they were flying around the rink without any trouble at all, but hey, what do I know?I was worried when I arrived and had trouble finding a parking space that it would be TOO crowded, but it wasnt that bad inside!

Took my 3 year old skating here for the first time because my older daughter was attending a party here. The place overall was nice, but you may want to consider a few things when planning to go here. If you have a little one or new skater, take them to the restroom before they put on their skates - the bathrooms are tile and very difficult for new skaters. Also, consider the time you go. The birthday party was from 12-2 so I figured we could grab a slice of pizza and have some lunch - nope. They had no pizza available for anyone outside of the parties. Other than that we had a good time.

I havent been skating in so long. It was a work out. They had a good choice of music and also food. I didnt come with socks and had to purchase some and they were the best material ever, so soft and worth the buy. The skating rink isnt big at all but it fits a good amount of people with it getting crammed or uncomfortable.

HORRIBLE experience!!! When we first walked up to the front of the building there was a scary looking man just watching every one walk in(this man did work there). He did not greet us or wave,he just gave us a pissed off look. When we got in I immediately noticed how hot it was and when i asked if they could do something about it they said they were not going to change it just because of me. You have to pay for WATER. And when i requested a song and they never played it i asked why.The worker was chatting with his co workers and i said excuse me he looked mad and said what in an aggravated tone. I asked why they were not playing any songs and he said its a request sheet doesnt mean we are going to play any of them he said with a roll of his eyes,he then rudely turned around when i was going to ask for the manager. I have MANY more complaints but i will take up the whole page with them but do NOT go here unless you want to be melting of heat and disrespected

Had a wonderful time with my granddaughter on her 13th birthday!

Good place for the kids as we had a birthday party there today for my youngest son. Everything went fine and the party package includes pizza. Although for 15.00 for a cheese and 18.00 for a pepperoni dont waste your time or money. The kids...all twelve except for two took a bite and they were done. My 13 year old tried one bite and spit it out stating that the cheese tasted old. I then tried it and could not believe how terrible it tasted. It was much worse than the school pizza I remember from high school in the 80s. I discussed with the party waitresses and they said sorry and moved on. Then I went and discussed with a manager. He said he would check it out. He came to our table and said all the ingredients were fresh. We had untouched pizza everywhere and he would not try it and had no more to say other than another party ordered an extra pizza. Although all the plates on there table had uneaten pizza. I know this is a long review, but my point is that they would be better off buying dejornos pizza for 6.00 frozen and cooking that. It was unacceptable and if you are OK with it it is a nice place...just dont expect decent pizza and definitely dont expect them to do anything about it.

My 10 year old daughter went to Skate Country for a school party. She told me that a D.J that treated her unfairly. The reason is that she requested a song but the D.J said no. So she asked her other friend to request a different song but the D.J also said no. But my daughter and her friend were asian. So my daughter thought the D.J was being racist. So she brought her other friend who was non Asian and asked for a different song and the D.J said yes. My daughter came home complaining about the unfair treatment she received that night. I suggest that going there is a bad idea. If you want unfair and rude treatment then go ahead.

Best place to hang out in rainy days with active kiddos.Music selection is a bit modern hip hop and pop so kids enjoy that. Snack bar serves typical fare and prices are ok for the captive audience they serve.Bring back the frozen Mt dew!

My 5 year old loves this place, other than that I would NEVER come back, HORRIBLE front desk service the old lady who is at cashier is VERY RUDE I brought a zippy cup of water for my 5 year old who has a a cold and asthma condition. Cold or iced water makes his cough worse. As soon as she seen the zippy cup plain told NO OUTSIDE FOOD ALLOWED HERE, with a bossy attitude, there was NO a sorry but you cant take this. at all. No manners at all, when I told her that my son has a condition and asked if room temperature water is available there, her answer: *I dont know what is room temperature water. You got to ask I dont work there*. All with an attitude. I work in customer service and I have never treated customers like that. Shame on her.
