Below average food and service. Sent my kids to the junior sailing camp during the summer and it proved to be a mistake. Save you money!

We were having a company Christmas party Dec 14 2019. We had ordered meals ahead of the time by phone. When we arrived we had to take our table cards with our food choice to put in front of you. Drinks, soups and salads were served and I watched the servers make a map of where everyone was sitting.Filet mignon steaks with lobster came out with the wrong temperature in front of almost everyone that ordered them. People that asked for well were served medium which will shock most. When a person at my table complained after the 3rd time getting it wrong. Plus my order came out last was suppose to be medium and it was well. Management (a little lady)came over and yelled across the room that this is ridiculous and the hostist is responsible for all meals. I have never been so disrespected and eembarrassed. Clearly the servers were at fault. At the end of the night several people sent back their steaks medium and cut of pieces off them. Our hostist still had to pay for all the meals.

Commodore Charles G. Obersheimer and Buffalo Yacht Club staff did an outstanding job providing a wonderful venue for the Buffalo-Dortmund Sister Cities Committee welcoming guests on the 40th anniversary of the Buffalo-Dortmund Sister City relationship today. Lord Mayor Ullrich Sierau Stadt Dortmund, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz, Lynn Engle, Gregory Engle and especially the Master of Ceremonies Joseph Roetter entertained the group. Kudos to all for a very enjoyable afternoon.

The junior sailing camp is poorly run and maintained. Very little sailing gets done and I’m extremely upset.

Food is very good there. We were lucky that a friend our my father in-law was a member there. Great place to have large suit and tie social gatherings and/or celebrations.

I was there for a meeting in the clubhouse that was arranged by a yacht club member. The staff was very cordial and helpful as they rearranged tables and set out a morning buffet. There was some background noise at times presumably from staff as they set up the other areas for lunch that was open for members but all in all it was a great venue for our meeting of 20 academics who need to get out of their campus labs and offices from time to time. There is a beautiful view of the water. Lunch from the house menu was very nice, food was delicious and nicely presented.

Awesome yacht club. I have been to a lot of clubs and this, being the 3rd oldest in the country was quite nice. The staff was friendly and courteous. The views were great and the club has quite a bit of club owned boats.

Parents married there and sailed out of port there- consistently a pleasant experience
