My husband and I enjoyed this tour with 2 of my siblings, who were born and raised in the Buffalo area and moved to other parts of the US after college. The evening was filled with fun, laughter and interesting tidbits of information. Our guide, Officer OConnor, was beyond knowledgeable and his love for our wonderful city was evident from the minute we stepped on the bus. He left us with great memories and a renewed sense of pride and optimism regarding the City of Good Neighbors. I would highly recommend spending 90 minutes on this one-of-a-kind bus with this energized and well-researched tour guide!

It was our first Saturday of the month get-together with my siblings. We did the Best of Buffalo Tour and had a very fun filled afternoon. Office OConnor was very knowledgeable and very, very funny. Would highly recommend this as a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Buffalo. Will definitely consider coming back to one of their other tours such as Paranormal or Murder Mystery.

I took my family from Canada, my 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter on this tour. ‘O’Connor’ was a great tour operator and he made the entire time fun for everyone. He really included both my kids so they stay engaged. He was honest from the start and said if anyone was sensitive to politics then this was not the tour for them. He had tasteful jokes and was really fun. I will continue to take my family on this as its fun for everyone!!

An intriguing afternoon that exceeded my expectations! Even though only one in our group guessed the murderer, we all had a great time interrogating the suspects in and around the distillery!

This is a must see in Buffalo especially if you have out of town guests and want to show them something very different.Officer OConner was the highlight of this wonderful tour of Buffalo. He starts with a funny, informative and sometimes sad tour of two of the ships in the Navel yard.The whisks you away onto the Skyway (little scary on double decker.) showing you how Buffalo is trying to improve and how it has a lot to be proud of.He joked around with my 14 year old son, nick naming him Justin Beeber for the whole ride, hilarious.

We took this tour with a small group of 12 people. We all had great time. Even though I have lived in this area all my life, I still enjoyed the new views from atop the bus. Our guide was terrific. He really had a handle on facts and his delivery was always amusing. Wouldnt mind taking this History tour again.

Loved the interaction and humor between the cast and participants on the murder mystery and found the paranormal tour to be both informational and entertaining. Joel is an outstanding guide! What a great time on the Buffalo Double Decker Bus Murder Mystery Friday night! It was 2 hours of fun. The host, Officer OConnor, kept the trip lively and engaged the tour-goers thoroughly. The rest of the troupe did a wonderful job in creating the old-tyme Buffalo atmosphere with enthusiasm and style!

On Saturday my husbands friend planned a group outing to do the Murder Mystery Disco Night & it was the best time ever!! We had so much fun!! I highly recommend it for a fun night out! I cant wait to try the Western Night one next! The event was a great time! The characters were so in to the role & it was just so funny! The flash mob at the Italian Fest for YMCA was amazing!!! If you dont book a tour, you are missing out!!!

There were three generations ranging in age from 6 to 85 who were on our family tour. The one hour was the perfect time to keep a childs interest and the information kept the adults interested in the history of Buffalo, Western New York and the waterfront. I would definitely recommend! We had a great time!

Havent yet had the pleasure of a ride, but I hear its fantastic, and Ive met the owners and got the chance to spend some quality time. I did attend a 70s themed Halloween danceathon they put on, twas great... I have no doubt anything to do with these folks will be nothing short of fantastical... cant wait for a bus ride...

What a fun night! We did the Disco murder mystery tour. The characters were great, the bus was fun, the mystery was solvable, and it wasnt a big time committment. We also had a great time coming up with costumes. I wouldve liked a little more scripted show but we all had a great time!

Joel is is a 4, and a good entertainer. The driver was a 4. The content was a 4. The tour itself a 3. The tour was interesting. Joel was funny, knowledgeable, and engaging. The driver was talented, navigating post game traffic. I wish the tour had someplace more authentic to visit. We had fun with our friends and hearing some stories.

Buffalo Double Decker Tour was phenomenal. The Master of Ceremony and narrator was GREAT! His sense of humor was hilarious and he was very knowledgeable of the town and the people. The female driver was great. She maneuver the bus like a champ. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour to All!

We did this tour the other day and were still talking about it. The old time Irish police officer tour guide was unbelievable! Hes extremely knowledgeable, engaging, a great story teller and HILARIOUS! He has lots of energy and a clear affection for the city of Buffalo and its history. Most people on the tour were adults but my 8 year old loved it too. This tour is worth going out of your way for and would be #1 on my list of things to do in Buffalo.

This bus tour was PERFECT for our family activity during our reunion weekend! We had a large group of 16 people, and everyone really enjoyed this tour! Our host was excellent! Some friends and I recently went on the 2 hour Best of Buffalo Double Decker Bus Tour. It was terrific! Not only was our tour guide/bus owner entertaining with his uniform and Irish accent, but he was full of interesting facts and information regarding Buffalos history. I would highly recommend this tour, and am anxious to try some of his other tours.

We went on the Buffalo Double Decker Bus tour today and had a great time. Was really cool to learn about the history (ups and downs) of the city, learn how much a canal can change things and much more. Was also a great opportunity to get a brief history on the naval ships and be able to walk on them.Tour guide was easy to listen to and even had original jokes for the kids. We often do bus tours in cities we visit to learn the most history and see as much of the city as we can and this tour did not dissappoint!Thanks for a great day!

I had a really great time on this tour. You get a good sense of the city and the comedy keeps you on your toes. I burst out laughing several times. It was a very enjoyable way to spend the afternoon in Buffalo. I highly recommend it and will try the other tours on my next visit.

We have heard a lot of buzz about the resurgence of Buffalo. My husband and I had a late afternoon flight out of Buffalo so we decided to use the early part of the day to explore the city.There is no better way to do this than on the double decker tour bus. We took the Old Buffalo/New Buffalo tour (90 min.). and loved it. I would highly recommend this.

The Disco Murder Mystery Bus Ride was a riot! We were 8 ladies from 40s to 60s and we had a blast! The cast was very entertaining, the music, the bus, we couldnt have enjoyed ourselves more.We would definitely recommend Joel and his Tours to anyone wanting to have a fun time.

This tour is absolutely fantastic. Officer O’Connor is as witty as he is knowledgeable as he is funny. Had us laughing every bit of the way in conjunction with learning many interesting facts about Buffalo. This was our second double decker city and ship tour and I will bring friends and family back for yet another ... next time perhaps we’ll try the “who done it?” option!! Highly recommend this! My cousins and I decided to take this trip together. We all thoroughly enjoyed the humor of Officer OConnor and the information he imparted regarding the history of our city. We have lived here all our lives, but saw new sights and learned a lot about the area in which we grew up. It was a very entertaining tour. We have already discussed the possibility of booking the murder mystery tour next season. I highly recommend this bus tour for both those visiting the Buffalo area and those who grew up here.

We were a group of 10 people who participated in the Double Decker Paranormal Bus tour a couple of days ago. The tour started at the Barrel Factory in Buffalo, which was a fantastic place on its own. The 65 of us boarded the bus and headed to Canalside, where we were ushered into a large building to view a slide show showing paranormal activity in various places around WNY. After that, we walked outside to the warships where we were treated to stories of paranormal activity in the area. Joel, our guide, was a natural speaker. You could tell that he was loving his job, and he was pretty funny, too. We are now looking into his Mystery Dinner Theater for later this year.

4 friends and I took the Buffalo Old and New tour today. Although the weather was very warm and sunny, we were comfortable with the open windows.The trip was a lot of fun, with interesting facts that were new to us and the tour guide presented Buffalos history in a light, but well thought out narrative. He was very friendly to both people on the bus and a stranger who approached him asking for directions. He was especially engaging with the people who had special needs. Our driver was very friendly too and so skilled at maneuvering the bus in tight spaces. The view from the upper level was great - a sneak peak into some hidden gardens!I highly recommend this tour of Buffalo which will take you from Canalside to the museum district, through residential, urban and newly developing areas of our reawakening city.

We spent a Sunday afternoon on the Buffalo Double Deck Bus Tour and we were absolutely delighted with it! “Officer O’Connor” was a joy to behold and kept us in stitches all the tour. He was loaded with facts on Buffalo’s history and, after 2 hours, we wish we had more time with him! We’re definitely booking ourselves on the other tours! Great job!!

My Mom, my daughter, and myself enjoyed the Best of Buffalo tour this morning. We all laughed and had a lot of fun. The owner and tour guide made a special effort to include my teenager and her response sums up our experience. We went on the Best of Buffalo Tour with my aunt and uncle who were in town visiting from California. The guide was so funny and incredibly knowledgeable. I didnt want the tour to end! I think it was the perfect overview of our city for out of towners (and locals!). I will definitely be trying the other tours he has to offer.

My Wife and I took a tour on the Double Decker bus with a group who was having a meeting downtown. The tour was very informative, and entertaining. We were very impressed how the tour guide was able to include some points related to our group in the tour commentary.

Captain O’Connor will keep you well-informed of all the interesting, and at times sordid, details of Buffalo’s history while driving you around in a double decker bus. He delivers this information in the style of a stand-up comic—the best I’ve ever had the good fortune to hear. We came away well-informed on Buffalo’s history and aching from laughing so hard—start to finish. You won’t find a more entertaining, informative, tour anywhere. I guarantee it!

OMG! We’ve been on several of Joel’s Murder mystery bus tours, but this one took the cake!Joel is the consummate entertainer and has more energy than anyone I’ve ever met, but this timehis creative mind was working overtime. In an impromptu move, he took us to the center of Buffalo to the Italian Festival where we all piled out of the bus, 75 strong, and we did a flash mob to YMCA!! Great way to spend a couple of hours sightseeing and learning about Buffalo. Our group included teens, which can be tough to please at times. We conveniently reserved our Old and New Buffalo tour online just two hours before it started. And when we got to the river walk area and met our tour guide, we thought that it going to be “just ok” but our group had a blast: the tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I only wish that we had more time to try one of the other tours that they offer.

We did this as a contest reward for the office. It was a great time!! We had a blast! We laughed, hung out and some of us even solved the murder mystery. A must do!

The mystery theme was cute and the actors funny. Unfortunately some of the guests this evening were a little too loud and a bit rowdy so it was not easy to interact with the actors. Certainly not the fault of the tour operators. These ladies were just having a very good time. Maybe I just needed to be 35 years younger. My friends and I will try another tour with your bus later this summer.
