Very beautiful inside with an interior courtyard, multiple areas and levels to dine - one with fireplaces .Theres a bar, a wood fired pizza oven, and a bakery . Its confusing when you walk in trying to figure out where to go. Unfortunately bakery was sold out when we arrived and we were between meal service times and couldnt order anything from the pizza oven. Well be back to enjoy this cozy spot.

I rent about 500 square feet here for my business. Its great being able to bounce ideas off of other business residents and having access to the community wood and metal shop. Both shops are open to the public as well, just check their website for hours.

An amazing place to volunteer and collaborate with others who have similar interests. The Foundry has a full work shop with all the power tools you need to complete projects a diy person could need.

Never heard of this place until I went to a beginners glass blowing class last week. Awesome idea. If youre into metal or wood working, or textile making, or need a 3d printer, this is the place.

**EDITED**After getting a response recently from the Foundry about my review Im going to reserve further judgement until I can visit again. It appears they werent quite set up yet when I visited last time (2017). I really hope to see a huge improvement. Original review below:_________________________________________________________________________I took a scheduled tour, hoping to find something similar to techshop in the SF bay area - where I moved from. I was expecting to find a collaborative place where people are working on projects, help others, and having access to a wide range of tools. What I found was its more like an incubator space for people that want to start a business. Thats great - but thats NOT what a makerspace really is. If you want to come just work on a personal project and use some tools to do so, its pretty prohibitive. Their 3D printers were not operational and you werent allowed to attempt to utilize them (at the time of my tour), and the metal working space (welding, grinding, etc.) was also non-operational while they were searching for someone to oversee it.What I gathered was the monthly fees Id be paying would be almost a complete waste because what I had hoped would be accessible was not, and/or there wouldnt be anyone around to help learn how to use some of the tools I wasnt familiar with.Im sure if youre starting a business and you want to rent a teensy place to store your work and make progress on it, with access to some limited range of tools you may not own, then its likely great. If youre just a DIY at home project person who wants to learn a new things, Id keep looking.
