What a wonderful place! Impressive tanks and a huge variety of fish.

We went to Vance’s for the first time today, not knowing what to expect at the end of the driveway. It was easily the best aquarium store we’ve been to. We go to several, usually big box places like petco. Vance was so nice to us, great with prices and such a selection of fish. No large store can top the experience we had there.

Absolutely amazing customer service and such a great selection of fish! My husband and I were very pleased with the set up of the store, cleanliness, and health of the fish! He was very informative and helpful when it came down to selecting the right fish for our tank. I definitely would recommend Vance’s Tropical Fish and plan to go back many times in the future!

Vances is great! Im not a fishy person but my wife is. So I went with her one time and the place is friggin cool! Its all warm and tropical and cozy inside with just a real welcoming feel.And its double themed! Vance has old arcade video games stationed here & there where dummy husbands like me can be 10 years old again while my better half shops for pretty fish & schemes up better ways to turn our home into fishyworld.Its a cool place. Vance is a wicked nice guy. And it earns 5 stars.

Vance is very knowledgable, and I love the variety of fish he has. He also has some awesome tanks and accessories. I bought a 39 gal tank and am very happy with it.

I cannot speak highly enough of Vance! , this business is absolutely the best of its kind in the area, Vance will not just sell you supplies and fish, he will mentor a newbie( Like myself). I was new, and he always answered my questions, even offered to test samples I brought or even visit my tank as a professional for a price. This review is a very long time coming. I had a first time salt aquarium and it brought me much joy. Whether a business or loner this is where you need to go.

If you want to start a fish tank, or add some new fish to yours this is the place to go. There is a huge selection of fresh water and salt water creatures.The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell from talking to him and just walking around his shop that he really loves what he does. From the décor and setup to the fish he has in the shop it shows. I mean he has a 14,000 gallon fish tank that he custom built himself!There is even a small set up for kids to reach in some water and touch crabs, starfish and more! My son really liked it, plus he has an obsession with water to begin with so it was right up his alley.It was a little hard to find the road because it wasnt at all what I was expecting to find. The shop is slightly out in the middle of nowhere the dirt road threw me off a little bit. When going down the road I didnt think there would be a shop there but keep going and you will get there!He even has handmade ukuleles and guitars which are really neat.While it was a little...well a lot out of my way Im glad we ventured here and I will be back for sure. So if you love fish you better check these out. Way better than your chain pet/fish store!

Driving in youll think youre on someones driveway. And you are. But this guy is friendly, the shop is cool, and he has a unique selection of fish. Not to mention insanely cheap used setups as mentioned by another reviewer.Just a really nice place to have available locally. I was apprehensive before going in, but such a welcoming place. All the fish Ive purchased here have been healthy.

Best place for knowledge and customer service and if coarse the fish. I was here 12 to 14 years ago and he is still pleasent as ever!

Vances is by far the best fish store in the area. For anything less common hes my first stop. Not great for equipment but you can find that cheaper online anyway. HOWEVER, he always has insanely cheap used setups! And Vance himself is insanely helpful and knowledgable. If youre looking for a hard-to-find fish come to Vance first, and if he doesnt have it he can probably order it! Hes also got great locally-bred fish.
