This is a review of the dog park only.. Its a very nice park, easy to find, it appears to be maintained, and they even provide waste bags in case you forgot your own. But the city turned off the water for no real reason so you have to bring your own water and bowls for the pups.

For some reason, I’ve been forbidden to use the dog park at 6 AM. I have no idea why a public space is closed, the gates were standing wide open.An apparent employee in a Community Services truck came and told me the dog park is closed and I had to leave. The walking track was in use by several people, and he did not stop me from turning in that direction.When I circled around, the gates had been locked after returning the trash cans to their places within the gates.

My wife and i Take my kids there to play volleyball and baseball all the time and its always fun

I often drive here & park, just to take a moment to myself. Its very clean and inviting. Its definitely one of the nicest parks Ive visited. 5 stars *****

We (dog and I) visit Buckeye regularly and we love coming to the dog park here! They have a big dog and little dog section. Everyone we have run into here seems very friendly. They have extra bags if you forget some (you can also leave some), great grassy areas, and usually a few balls in the yard to play with!

Big park for the sundance community in buckeye. It has a nice trail you can walk are ride a bike where you can see rabbits.

Large park with a variety of options. Theres a dog park, soft ball, volley ball and playground. They often have activites or events here and will post a sign of different things you can do in Buckeye. They have cameras here but could use a bit more lighting since the sun goes down early in the winter. Only thing that could possibly make this park better is a splash pad.

The playground has newer items and my granddaughter loved it!

Met up with families from the community for a family friendly softball game. All were welcome. The facilities were great. Children not wanting to play had a wonderful playground where they never got bored. Fantastic venue.

We had a great time. The kids really enjoyed playing. I felt very safe with my 4 yr. Old & 1 1/2 yr. Old. The playground was clean and well maintained. Thanks for keeping the park in tip top shape

Yesterday was my first time to this park with my kids. I didnt know what to expect but over all I thought it was good. There was a really good variety of equipment for a large age range. A few critiques tho to explain my 4 star rating......For as large as the park is I think there should be more picnic tables. I also think the arrangement couldve been done a little better because the bathrooms are quite far from the play area and tables. My friends daughter hit her face and ended up with a bloody nose so thats kind of a far walk with a bloody nose. My biggest critique is the green circular swing type thing in the air is dangerous, worse than the merry go round. As previously mentioned, we had an injury in our group and it was because she was hanging and swinging on that green one and a bigger kid grabbed on to swing too and swung it too hard causing her to fly off and hit her face in the wood chips. Not safe!!!! Otherwise we had a good time!

Clean. Restrooms are better than most parks Ive been to. My kids are younger and enjoy both sections without any hassle or trouble from other children. Havent come across any crazy dogs as there is a dog park near.

Large park with lots of fields. Great playground. Only bad thing is the ladies restroom. The toilets always have human waste on them.

A nice family park

Very nice park! I have a lot of wonderful memories here!!I have 2 suggestions/questions:1) Can we get a splash pad here so we dont have to drive to Goodyear to enjoy one?2) In the summer... okay, more like from April to October, can we have later hours? Its too hot to play during the day, kids are out of , and a lot of us would love to have the ability to spend more time outside at night when its bearable!

Love this park in buckeye. Its clean, has a diverse crowd, and friendly people. It has many spaces to enjoy like volleyball, baseball, open fields, play area, and dog park. Its also a great park to see the sunset.

Clean public restrooms. Four well maintained diamonds. Excellent chain-link enclosed dog runs. One for small dogs, another for large. The dividing line between sizes is 20 pounds. They have installed baggie dispensers for convenience.

This park is always very clean, well maintained, no graffiti. Plenty of ramadas and picnic benches with charcoal grills and benches to watch your kids playing. Playground is huge and sits on top of crushed up wood chips so ya, no sand in your car, huge plus. People are friendly. Playground has huge canopies for shade. Theres swings, plenty of stuff to make kids dizzy. Theres baseball and soccer fields. Theres a huge dog park split into two, one for big dogs and one for small dogs. Theres a lot of parking. A bunch of trash cans so trash isnt flowing over and falling on the ground and every time Im there with my family theres always someone emptying the trash. Grass is always extremely green and freshly cut. Whole entire park, including the dog park is very well lit.The only thing that Sundance Park is missing that would make it perfect is a splash pad!

This park has everything a kid wants. I even played on some of the stuff. Only bad thing was my kids were more mad at me for us leaving than happy for bringing them there.

Its a nice park with lots of room. However, the lighting really, really sucks! It should be lit up more especially now that it gets dark by 6. We had to leave to a different park, but its cool for the daytime. I like the volleyball area too!

Nice clean park, ball fields and dog park. Level grass, walking trail around the whole park is .62 miles. Very well lit, always others enjoying the park, never empty.

Fantastic park, i was excited to see a merry-go-round at this park, its been awhile since Ive seen one. The park is big, spacious and clean. There are lots of different things to play on and a big nice field.

The dog run was very clean and safe. The few other dog owners were friendly and patient with or wild one.

Not crowded, all amenities that you can want including a well taken care of baseball field.

Its fun and enjoy full there is always people and things to do well kept and never had an issue

My brother and I stopped at the dog park with our girl Reba to let her run and play. Then we ate our meals we picked up from Panda Express. Reba was a happy .

The city does a poor job at maintaining the plants park and trees. Dog area often has no poop bags and owners dont clean up well. Parking very limited and the very limited picnic areas sticky and always busy.

Its a nice park. I only wish they would do something with the 4 baseball diamonds and 4 sand volleyball courts. Rec leagues. CoEd Volleyball. Something for adults to do.

They had dog days today. Loads of dogs and fun stuff for kids.Although, last year there was a big dog cutout. The kids put rocks in its mouth and it gave them candy.They talked about that dog all last year.

Kool park to take the kids and run around

This is a pretty good dog park never had an issue with any dog or owner until tonight. We’re not sure if it was an accident or intentional but someone took our dogs leash from the big dog side, and left a small ripped blue one in its place. That isn’t fair to our dog and it is a really nice red retracting leash. We would appreciate if whoever took it manned up and gave it back as soon as possible, so we can continue bringing our dog here. This took place between 6:45pm-7:45pm 08/27

We attended a company picnic at Sundance Park. It was easy to find even though we were not familiar with the area. The park is spacious! The restrooms were very clean! We were really busy with all the bounce houses and activities our company set up so I didnt notice if there was playground equipment, basketball courts or other things typically found at parks. We will likely return and I will update.

This place is alot of fun ,they have a dog park and hug field if you want to sit out in the grass , and sometimes they have yoga there , I didnt give 5 stars only because one of the playground toys is broken and has been broken. But nothings perfect , but this place is alot of fun my 2 years old loves it here , everytime we leave he is kicking and screaming.

Dance of the sun park where the sun doesnt dance, but attacks you with its rays of burning fire...but not in the winter time which is nice.

I love this park. We come multiple times a week. It’s kept well and has awesome play equipment. There’s always at least one other kid so mine have someone to play with. It has an attached dog park, bathroom, walking paths, baseball diamonds w/ snack bar, and nice big fields. They do fitness in the park at 6:30pm weeknights with an instructor. It’s totally free and anyone can come. They do it right next to the playground so it’s convenient for parents.It needs a splash pad! That is the only thing missing.

It has everything you could need as far as groceries...hair cuts....fast food...banking and pharmacys

Last night, one of my daughters was sitting on the field with our two pups while my other daughter was playing soccer; then a guy in a golf cart approached demanding to remove the 2 dogs (5 months old cocker spaniels on their leash)from the fields or he’ll call the police. How rude was that! I understand that their was a sign but they missed it. Hoping that he’d let her off with a warning so they wouldn’t bring the dogs next time; but she had to sit by the bleachers.

Kid and pet friendly. This is one of the best things that Buckeye has. Workers are here daily, cleaning up, trimming trees etc which I appreciate. It does get crowded in the evenings and on the weekends because of recreational soccer so expect to park on the dirt. They seem to have a splash plad planned for the future so if you have kids this is something to look forward to!

Have used the park for birthdays and the dog park area. Great park just waiting for a water feature. Baseball, soccer volleyball courts. Has bathroom facilities they are ok. Bring water as the water fountains are so so. Great park though.
