My favorite golf course in the west valley. Always a challenge and the course is in great shape. Views of the valley from several holes on the back 9 are some of the best in the valley anywhere. 5 different tee boxes and each presents it’s own challenge. Some of the holes have significant elevation changes, especially on the back side. I haven’t played the new course at Victory, just up the road in the 55+ community with Verrado, but it looks amazing too. I’ll play there within the next month and check back with a review of it...I’m sure it will be as good as Founders at Verrado. Wherever you play, make sure to stop in to the clubhouse and have lunch and a beer and take in the views from there as well. Hit em straight!

Excellent Arizona course. Well kept, scenic with great greens! Also a great value considering I only paid $25 but it was 113°

Shame on the extremely rude ranger ... I would not recommend you play here. Many courses where they appreciate you as a customer. This is not one of them.

What a beautiful golf course! If youre looking to test your golf skills, check out Verrado. Course is in great condition, greens were fast and fairways perfect. Play smart and youll score well, loose play will get you big rewards, but the risk is bigger! Cant wait to play here again.

Poor service, poor acknowledgement of Verrado tax payers whose money is used to keep that course open, poor acknowledgement of Verrado residents who have their kids enrolled at other schools through making them pay to use the range where Verrado student have free access. Just a very snobby, unresidential and poor display of a golf course facility paid for and for use by Verrado tax payers. Just a shame. Not even worth the little membership program they are offering. Definitely not veteran or military friendly. Check out Victory if you want to play a customer friendly, well manicured and over great golf experience. They are tied together i know yet for the experience that is the place to play. Never an issue there this far. I am sure some of the same characters may frequent that place yet thankfully I have missed them. Now to post on other local golf pages as well. Hitem straight and keep it in the short grass.

One star for VALUE.Just before overseeding on a Friday, 100 degrees and afternoon tee time, I paid $30. Which is a good summer rate. Now 3 weeks later, I was charged $90 on a Friday afternoon, 100 degrees and for what? Cart path only, rough spots from overseeding and noisy earth movers in the background. The guy at the counter didnt seem to care. There are way better values in the valley without all the nonsense. I will stay away from Victory.

We had our wedding ceremony there. One of the few places I could find that offered ceremony only. Its gorgeous place. They are super accommodating. Audrey is amazing coordinator! Love her so much! She goes above and beyond. You should book for an event here because of herby! My experience was amazing and all staff was very helpful.I learned afterwards that some bar staff and hostess were not very friendly or helpful to my groom or groomsmen only reason I am giving a 4 star.

Fabulous course. One of the best I have played. One of those tough but fun places. Course conditions were excellent. Cant wait to play there again.

Because of Covid 19, the golf course was not able to go there normal above and beyond customer services. That said, Verrado stands alone on top of west valley courses for me. Great condition, best views, nice blend topography. The perfect day of golf for us, this day.

First class course, service, facilities and practice range. Very good test of golf.

Environment was amazing staff was amazing and welcoming our waiter “Joe” was very attentive and always made sure we were set. I’d definitely be back soon.

Decent food amazing views and atmosphere

Very nice golf course surrounded by incredible views!! The White Tanks make for the perfect backdrop and you can see the most amazingly beautiful sunsets if you stay for dinner on the porch! Typically large mule deer herds make appearances at dusk as they venture on to the greens to eat.

This course is something else! What you read and hear about is absolutely spot on! This course is a hidden gem and is definitely something you dont want to pass on if given the opportunity. Ive been looking at this course for months on GolfNow debating on if I wanted to take the hour drive to play here and man am I glad I did! From the moment you turn onto main Street to get to the entrance of the property you can feel how great its going to be. I highly recommend this course to every player advanced or beginner I promise it will not let you down! I might have to just move to the West Valley so I can enjoy this course more frequently! The staff is also top notch! Thanks Verrado Golf Club for an incredible day out on the links!

Awesome courses (both Founders & Victory)!Very reasonably priced in the summer months. Cooler months not so much but always in excellent shape!

Very nice establishment. Everything including the bathrooms are well kept and clean. My parents had their 25th wedding anniversary here and it turned out beautiful. Very elegant and classy place to have dinner or celebrate a millstone in your life.

Founders Course is in great shape, staff is friendly and obliging and food in grill is good. Makes for a fun time.

Food and drinks were very good. Bar and wait staff were very friendly. Nice views of the lake and golf course. I wouldve given them 5 stars but I did not appreciate the comment from (what seemed to be the manager) who stated they could lose their liquor license if I dont wear a mask, DESPITE the fact that I told her I have medical condition which puts me at higher risk for hypoxic events. I think the staff needs to be trained on the terms of the county and city proclamations and ADA. And be more concerned about the welfare of guests vs their liquor license. They also place a gallon pump bottle of toxic hand sanitizer inside front door which is fine for those who like to use that voluntarily. But they shouldnt be asking every guest to go to the pump station to sanitize when they arrive. That is not a mandate, nor a federal law.I refused the sanitizer (rightfully) but threw a chiffon scarf over my face just to enter because I was hungry and restaurant choices were limited in that area that evening.Would consider returning if they start accommodating guests with medical conditions or just wait until the city mask mandate ends.

Great golf course to play or sit outside the restaurant and take in the breath taking view. Right now the temperature is 70 degrees and the sun is shining with no wind. A good meal, a cold drink of your choice, what else could you ask for.

Food was extraordinary and the service even better. Amazing!

We have 8 guys play there every year for the last 10 years. We love the course and the views. The last 2 years the service on the patio was not very good. We waited for the waitress and after quite some time I went in side to order drinks from the bartender and she said the waitress will be right out and I’m to busy to help you. It was not busy. We waited and then went over to victory, had lunch and drinks and the service was great. We love the course!!

Course is in much better shape than it was right after opening. Has filled out nicely. Views on the front nine are incredible. Layout is fun and challenging. Nice complement to the Founder’s Course at Verrado.

Beautiful location, havent played golf ever but nice to look at. Has a nice restaurant decent food. Great hiking trails in high desert towards White Tank Mountains. If you go ask for directions to Petroglyph Rock, its a moderate 3 miles (approximately)round trip but amazing relic with some beautiful petroglyphs.

Came late for breakfast, decided on lunch instead. I had the three type combo street tacos (they were great). Wife had the fish and chips, and she claims the batter was very flavorful, on the other hand the side order of coleslaw was very disappointing. Too sweet, not enough vinegar. (Seems that sugar is added). Our friend had the chicken bacon tomato sandwich, she said it was great. On the positive side-their French fries are awesome, not oily but nice and crispy. Service was exceptional.

Verrados Founder Golf Course is one of my absolute favorite courses in all of Phoenix. The course is incredibly challenging and the desert landscape is breathtaking. If youre in town to golf you wont want to miss playing here.

The Founders course was in excellent condition. I just cant say the same for my game today. Lol. Bravo to the grounds crew. Looking forward to another round hoping my golf game decides to show up.

Such good food!! The single best breakfast burrito and french toast I have ever had. The coffee was good. The service was ok. The view on the patio was beautiful. The hostess visibly rolled her eyes when we changed our minds to sit outside vs inside. I think bc she cleaned a table for us. Still.

What a beautiful well manicured golf course with amazing views.

Nice dinner place and good food from a limited menu (...easier to make a decision!). The 6 of us had a round table in the more quiet dining room (away from bar and TV screens) and we enjoyed having a good conversation with no need to shout at each other. Everybody was happy and pleased with their dinner choices. Great and personal service too with a fun and lively waitress. Great salmon and chicken piccata dinners, very tender ribeye too. It was Thursday evening and we enjoyed a place not so busy for a change.

Do NOT plan a wedding at this location. Although a beautiful location, the people running it are HORRIBLE. They quoted us pricing and kept changing it. They took advantage of us and were extremely rude about it. The person in charge Kathey Baggett has absolutely zero customer service skills and is extremely rude. She treats you like your beneath her and is not looking out for your best interest. They are dishonest and unethical. There are many other locations to choose from that will actually value you and appreciate you choosing them. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM VERRADO GOLF CLUB FOR YOUR WEDDING.

The view is really beautiful with the golf course and the mountains. The staff is fast and efficient. The menu is limited, but thats good, because what they do have is perfected, which delivers some excellent fare. I had a meatloaf sandwich which was just wonderful. The rest of our party was very pleased with their food as well.

Verrado community is one of a kind with clean streets and plenty of out door walking and hiking trails. Golf course has plenty of nice views and friendly staff. Restaurant is at it best.

Played in unfavorable weather. Still an enjoyable round of golf on a very scenic piece of property ! Was a challenging golf course. Staff was very friendly. Will recommend this golf course to anybody. I will certainly be back again.

Victory course was beautiful. Worth the drive out from Mesa. Course conditions cant get much better either.

The course is pretty nice and is in fairly good condition. However our round today was 5 hours. We waited on just about every hole even after talking to the marshal, Kirk, for the first time on the 3rd hole. On the 7th hole he said he would check what was going on and on the 12th hole he said a group was 2 holes behind and he asked them to pick up the pace. We still waited. Every. Hole. I would not recommend playing here unless they can fix the pace of play issue. There are too many great, well run courses to choose from.

Excellent driving range and course. After your game you can relax on the patio overlooking the course and lake and enjoy a light meal, cool drink and soak up the calming surroundings. There is also an in door restaurant and full bar where the atmosphere is calm and the air conditioning is soothing. Whether is by day or evening the Verrado Golf Club is the place to go.

Great views, excellent customer service, and well maintained fairways and greens. They provide free practice balls, electronic charinging capabilities in the cart, and cold wet towels for those hot summer days. My favorite course in the valley!

The views are great, the fairways unique and wide open. The only thing missing are cups with the water jugs on the course. The bathrooms had running water, a plus! I have been to really nice courses and the restrooms just have hand sanitizer. Blah.I would definately go again.

Course is nice but my friends and I had a bad experience with the Marshall telling us to pick up the pace even though we were about 20 mins ahead of pace. He claimed people were stacking up behind us and that we would have to pick up the ball and move up a hole if he had to tell us again....there was no one on the tee box behind us or on the hole behind that...my friends and I finished 35 mins ahead of pace and decided to grab a bite to eat. We did not see another golfer come down the 18th hole for at least 30 mins or more! Bottom line was the Marshall was rude and obviously didnt even know what he was doing. There are much nicer courses around the valley with better service, views and hospitality. We will not be coming back to this course.

Over charged in bar for coffee drink versus the cart girl and the cart died and person in pro shop said they would try to get someone out great?? really

Simply just go... play either course...then you will want to go back... see simple

I have greatly enjoyed the Grille in the past. However, I was VERY disappointed in my experience tonight. The service was poor, the food was not great and to top it off.... I was over charged.

Beautiful public course, yet has an exclusive look and feel. 1st- rate and has full services, including a fully-stocked pro shop, practice facility and cozy restaurant and grill. Oh, and then theres the gorgeous and challenging, desert mountain 18 hole course. Youll love it!

Played the founders course. One of my favorite courses in the Phoenix area. Elevated tees, great scenery, and not to many houses surrounding the holes. Conditioning is excellent. Tees, fairways and greens were all in superb shape. Staff is friendly, polite and very customer service oriented. A must play!

Beautiful location sandwiched in the White Tank mountains. Convenient parking, with a small pro-shop and very nice grille restaurant.

Great golf course tucked up on the mountainside. This course has been my only venture to the far west end of Phoenix and it was well worth the trip. The course was fair, but challenging. You get great views from the tee boxes and you have to keep the ball in the fairways here! Desert lurks left and right of every tee shot. Im a Midwesterner that learned how important a desert club is on this course.

Two of my favorite courses to play in the Valley. Victory is the more eye appealing course. Founders will make you want to quit the game. Lol. Both courses are better than most in the area. Dont be afraid to pony up the extra money. You will not be disappointed in either course.

Really beautiful, really challenging. I played the founders course. The back side was my favorite. I guess you can call it target golf, as you really need control of your game here. A great short game helps too, as getting up and down can be quite a chore. Play one set of tees shorter than normal for the first round or two. Youll have a better time.

The golf club has a very good restaurant called the Verrado Grill food is well prepared and many different varieties from hamburger to prime rib we attended the very first wine tasting event pairing Italian wines with a four course meal wow we will be returning for the next wine event

Played the Victory course. Loved the lack of homes on the course...much more desert golf experience. Saw coyotes and even some tumbleweed rolling across our green! Awesome food at the patio bar!

Verrado golf club is a very nice place to host events and took off. No I have never golfed here I have been here numerous occasions and visit at the bar and the event space that they have. I will say that my favorite worker by far is Landon. Landon always goes above and beyond to help the guest and I do believe that he is an essential number to the Verrado golf club. I know that he is new but he is putting phenomenal work while I’m in there to come and greet me in the guestroom and always take the next step when it comes to helping Guest at the Verrado golf club. If you ever meet him while you’re at an event or when you’re at the Verrado golf club grill you will surely be delighted by his exceptional over the top customer service skills that make for an enjoyable afternoon or evening. Thank you Landon and VGC for making many events very happy for me and others.
