Family friendly park with great trails. It’s close enough to town to be convenient and far enough to feel like you are getting away a little bit.

I go here mainly for the mountain bike trails (about 20 miles of trails) and the occasional kayak paddle. The Ice House (when open) is a great place to eat, watch the sun set & listen to live music. The Ice House is typically closed during the winter months. There are a few RV sites with water & electric. I have never utilized this amenity, but drove through the area recently. It needs a lot of TLC.

Camping here is like paying 10 dollars to camp in an unregulated field next to a water treatment plant. Noise curfew is at 10pm, but absolutely zero enforcement. Do yourself a favor, visit HipCamp and book a camping site on their app somewhere else. If you wanna party, though; Lake Bryan is the place to go.

Great spot for a day out. Hiking/biking trails are on point. And cheap to get in $5 for the day. Really nice lake too.

Love this lake, the boats and jet skis could be a more cautious, as they frequently come into swimming areas and risk hitting kids swimming. The weekends have large crowds but during the week its calm, low crowds and peaceful.

I keep coming back here so many times and last 3 times at the weekends, the trash bins are overloaded, trash in lake and around. People are not considerate, this is very sad. The second issue, why this mess is not cleaned? Bathrooms dirty. No soap, they are not clean. It is a beautiful place itself but I do not understand why it is turned into trash.

Had a lot of fun. Kids friendly. Clean restrooms. Was really peaceful.

This place is very well maintained and with great views to offer;it has great security that will be in parecen at all times.

Besides almost getting attacked by 2 (presumably) wild dogs while entering/leaving the west loop trail, it was a very nice hike. Id have rated it 5 stars if there wasnt the threat of getting attacked by dogs though.

Went Sunday at 2PM. Only $5 per vehicle. Was not crowded by any means. Plenty of parking available. Water was not as dirty as we expected. Everyone kept way more than 10ft in distance.

The lake was great and its incredible for swimming with kids. The campsites were a bit trashy. The biggest problem were the dozens of campers who were squatting. If you reserve a sight, be on the lookout for random people who will pitch a tent right next to you, even though they didnt reserve a thing. Virtually no regulation. Cops drove by and saw multiple infractions (music too loud too late, fireworks, squatting) and didnt do a thing.The kids had fun, and thats what counts, but we wont be returning.

Favorite place to go with pup around Bryan-College Station. Just 20 minutes from campus. Can absolutely find privacy at end of main road and off on the sand a little bit (can drive on) to the right, past boat storage gate and near treeline. Id suggest this spot if you have a dog and other people are at the park (almost always). There are areas for volleyball, bbq pits, picnic tables, camping, and public restrooms as well if you wanted to go with a group of friends.

Great recreation area. Good for going fishing, has a boat ramp and plenty of space to chill out and enjoy the outdoors.

Kinda trashy but not too bad. Bathroom were not as previously mentioned. In fact, they were nicer than most and definitely cleaner than any Target and Walmart bathrooms around.

Its okay considering its close proximity to my apartment. They have kayak rentals and camping facilities, also RV hookups and the water is fairly clean.However the lake has heavy fishing pressure, but fair amounts of Channel Catfish, Crappie, and Largemouth Bass !

Wonderful sunsets, amazing after-dark experience in the summer! 15 min drive from TAMU provides a great venue for a mental health break!

The lake is small and kind of shallow, but still more than useable for boats and jet skis. The split in the middle makes it seem even smaller. On a weekend it can get quite crowded, so be ready for a few waves. There are miles of nice trails to explore as well as the water, and the restaurant/bar is nice with some great shaded outdoor seating. There is a coupon on the entrance ticket for the restaurant, so make sure to save and use it.

Not a bad place, could use some improvements but overall its a nice place to go.

Paid to get in 4th of July. Brought one brand new floaty lounger to be able to chill on the lake. On the way in, I paid and then I drove up 15 ft and they had 2 lake workers already waiting as soon as you are done paying you drive up next to a parked cop car and then workers start asking if I have any coolers (really its because they probably want to check for fireworks)and they asked to look at coolers in my trunk. The coolers were full of our already seasoned bbq we were hoping to get to cook there. My big floaty was also in there, and after they barged open our trunk in a huge hurry and found no fireworks or cooler problems, they slammed my trunk door on my floaty, causing holes in the part of the float where you lay your body AND the arm and headrest part of my floaty. Broke both parts that inflate of my floaty.I would not have even come to the lake if I did not have my float. My children couldnt have near as much fun as they wanted, and to top it off before you pay, they speak nothing of how there are 0 bbq pits available, so guess what I couldnt 4th of July bbq there either. One star. Ruined my 4th of July!

Really nice Recreational area, and not a bad admission price.I think we paid $5 for our whole Truck load of people.Not to big a deal that there are no Life Guards because it stays shallow pretty far out, so you would really have to not be paying attention for your kids to get out over their head. They have Camping and Picnic areas.Unfortunately, I believe they have closed the Ice House thingy where you could eat, but still look forgot next year because my granddaughters love the “beach” but that’s why i’m giving 3 Stars because portions of the beach are littered and need sand brought in.We walked along picking up mostly beer cans/tops and lots of broken glass probably also from alcoholic beverages.

We had a boy scout day camp. I never knew this lake was their. It was beautiful.

Nice and clean place to bbq or have a party. Water looks kinda nasty but Ive seen people swimming there. There is a $5 entrance fee per car so youd better carpool. There is a restaurant over there too.

Someone hooked their electric up to the spot we paid for and played their music super loud all night. Reported it but the workers at Bryan Lake did nothing.

Beautiful place to take your dog for a walk and kayak or camp with campfire as a group. Best to check the place during sunset as it has great view. The entrance is 5$ for a car.

The RV spots are almost inaccessible. Very small, NOT for beginners! Way to expensive for a spot. Not worth it for the money. Most expensive site I have EVER BEEN TO SINCE I OWNED MY CAMPER. To many ruthless college kids to feel comfortable camping. Its that way because its close to tamu. Just be ready if your thinking of staying there, one small wrong move in such a tight space can spell a bad time!

Lake Bryan is a fantastic place to hike. Miles and miles if trails - and beautiful sunsets too!

Usually here to ride my bike or run on the nature trails. Trials are pretty well maintained and would recommend them.

Wanted to go to the Hook with wife and son to have a meal. Paid the 5 dollars to get in. Went to the Hook and found it there was a band playing and were charging 5 dollars a head for cover. Immediately left and asked for a refund. Less than 5 minutes in the gates and they would not give a refund.

Lake Bryan is one of my favorite places. Ita very clean and I never have to worry about my kids stepping on glass. There is never any trash around and there is plenty of room for everyone.

One of our favorites places to be outdoors that is close for us. Great for teaching our boys to kayak.

Nice place to go for a picnic and you can watch sunset or sunrise. The lake has also several barbecue places so you can grill your food.

Great place for recreation. Mountain biking, water sports, camping, hiking all at one place. And to top that you can chill with a beer and music at the lakeside icehouse.

Reasonable price of $5 a car.The lake was bigger than we expected. But due to layout and over all spacing, I would not camp here.Perfect for a day fishing event with kids.Roads cramped pads for RVs not maintained and so narrow that I can imagine it being very difficult for large trucks or RVs to navigate through.

It is a very small lake, but well maintained tained grounds and a really tasty place to grab a burger and a cold beer! Great customer service and the park is totally pet friendly with a mandatory leash rule. It was a nice short visit all in all.

Not a bad place just to get away from the B/CS area for a day. Close and usually not to crowded. It has its ups and downs though but overall pretty good

Its a pretty place. People have fun,people are every where! It a good place to swim too. You can rent kayaks to paddle across the long lake. Just that there some people who curse a lot, but it depends on you if you want to take your children.

Bigger than expected. Can bring your boat along, can camp through the night. The restaurants are usually open only on the weekends from Friday evening. Pets are allowed. Plenty of space to walk, run, enjoy the sunset.

I thought it was a cool spot , asked about there fishing and they mentioned that its ok and that the fishing was on this one side of the lake so I did that but yet you still have people blasting radios , jet skis , and boats just hauling butt like your not fishing . Place is cool if youre going out for playing in the water but not a good spot for fishing

Great place to chill in Bryan. You can go camping, fishing, surfing or just walk. The road to get there is also an amazing drive with just a one lane on each side and a speed limit of 70!

Not much to see, doesnt worth five bucks.
