Great place to watch a musical.

Im generally a fan of old theaters and the performing arts. The Lyric Theatre is a great example of the former and a great place to see the latter. A small town gem, well restored to serve its community.

This is a wonderful entertaining place. Great local talent performs in the productions.

Awesome opportunity to see local talent entertain you. They also bring in wonderful shows and musical opportunities. Easy to work with box office. Website is easy to navigate and purchase tickets as well.

An excellent facility Well renovated and easily accommodating quality work. The stage is a little too small but the enthusiasm of the production we saw theyre easily made up for it. This is the ideal community space that appears to have growing support for the activities stage there. Our best wishes for a fine season and for exceptional growth in education cultural and artistic achievements

Great fun,enjoined the play . Only issue I have the rows are too close together. The snacks are costly but you are supporting more than the refreshment stand. Water should be less though for patrons that may need it for health reasons it would be considerate of them to reduce that at least..

I am so pleased to say that I am so happy I went into this Little gem of a theater. my husband and I certainly will be going back. This is almost as good as going to the Majestic theater in downtown DallasJoy Renee was a delight to watch. Also Brad, I think it was from Keller Williams, has a new calling. for a first time peformer he was absolutely fabulous

I Love the live plays, the people who work so hard to put them on and the history of the place that the community has worked so amazingly to preserve. I just enjoy the atmosphere and cant wait for the next event!! Thanks to all who gave this part of a lost old America back to a younger generation. It is a must stop place for great wholesome entertainment for the whole family.

Ive lived in the Central Texas area off and on, all of my life. But I had no idea there was a theater of this caliber nearby. My wife and I attended a performance of Always, Patsy Cline because a co-worker was playing the role of Patsy Cline. I found out after speaking with her that the theater had undergone a complete renovation within the past several years. The sound, lighting and acoustics are all top-notch for being such a cozy and intimate space. The Lyric is an extremely charming venue and is a crown jewel for the City of Brownwood, Texas and for the entire Central Texas region. Make the trip, youll be glad you did!

A beautifully restored gem with so much local talent youll have to pinch yourself to make sure you arent dreaming. Fair prices and good variety of shows. Vintage theater seats so for bigger guys like me it makes for a tight squeeze but its not uncomfortable in the slightest! Pro tip, the balcony is tighter than the floor so go for the floor seats if youre big and tall.

The actors and actresses were great

Always an amazing time. Volunteered cast that puts every ounce of care into their shows. If there was ever a complaint, itd be that the audience doesnt clap loud enough sometimes.

It was a good time, I enjoyed the performance and the jalapeno popcorn

Attended a choir concert by Howard Payne University. The seating spaces were comfortable.

It offers a great theater experience. I would like for the stage to be a little bit bigger, though.

U got to go for free. The performers were frequency off key. Only two of them could sing. Acting was fair.
