A treasure trove of both historical and archeological information exquisitely displayed in a home furnished and maintained in as historically accurate a manner as possible. The architecture and layout of this home was very interesting---right down to the wide, hall running through the center of the main house, built so as to accommodate family, staff, and visitors. As an aside, delicate, beautiful light fixtures accentuated each room like fine jewelry on display in a jewelers case. Bedazzled by their beauty! What a wonderful place to see and experience!

We were so impressed by this museum. We not only learned a great deal about Texas/Mexican history but were so impressed by the professional organization and display of the the artifacts and photographs. After visiting many localized historical museums this ranks as one of the best. The temporary exhibit of seasonal nativity scenes was also very engaging. The only change I would like to see is some way to have seen the interior of the German made car, either via cameras, open doors, mirrors, etc. What a delightful afternoon we spent there and visiting the Governors residence was informational as well. Many thanks.

It was very enjoyable to just sit in the garden - little oasis of calm in the middle of downtown. Really enjoyed walking through the museum next door in the complex which was full of information about the Mexican Revolution and how it affected life on both sides of the river.
